Aroma in East Lindsey

Visited this place for a family members birthday meal and won’t be coming back. Having booked over two weeks ago upon arriving we was seated in the conservatory which was absolutely freezing, would have been nice to have been advised time of booking that would be in the freezing cold conservatory. Several family members had to return home to get jumpers and coats midway through the meal and all ten of us had to sit in a restaurant in coats throughout the meal. Attitude of one of the waitresses was appalling, we had taken our 99 year old nan who was clearly unsteady on her feet, yet twice said waitress pushed passed her while nan was trying to walk to her seat. When pulled up on this the waitress, instead of acknowledging her error, went on to argue her point that she hadn’t pushed past and nearly knocked relative over. Awful attitude. The food itself was actually tasty but the 45 minute gap between starters and mains despite been asked to make preorder food a week ago is poor. And to then come out once 9 of the meals had been cooked and ask “how would you like your steak to be cooked”?!?!? Is wrong. Said family member then had to sit and eat alone once his meal did arrive ten minutes after everyone else’s. Had to go bar for drinks after waiting ages to be served. It was very much ‘shoved in the corner and ignored’….will not be returning. If you do choose to go - take your thermals and watch for the abrupt waitress

If you’re looking for a great restaurant with fantastic staff and food then go here. It’s great to see food cooked fresh with great ingredients and made with passion. The Thermidor was excellent as was the Brie cheese. I have not seen a seafood linguini made like the one here all fresh sea food and a huge portion size. Thank you for your hospitality and warm welcome. 🙏

Wow what a beautiful meal and the best pasta I have ever had. Service is great and friendly and the whole experience was totally enjoyable. If you have not been here then go as you are missing out on wonderful evening with fantastic tasting food.

Had the most beautiful meal here tonight. We shared several starters which were all delicious. Seafood linguine and lobster mains were fantastic and well worth the money. Everything was fresh, seasoned and cooked to perfection! Portions are very generous. Service was excellent too, we were well looked after from the second we walked in. 10/10 from us. Will definitely return.

We went as a party of friends for the first time since the restaurant changed hands ….and it was excellent !! The food was very good with generous portions and the service was spot on. We shall definitely be back 😀

Found this restaurant online and decided to go here after seeing great reviews The most awful so called italian i’ve ever been to The food is so bland and tasteless One of the waitresses was awfully rude However the other two were both polite girls Finally got our bill after asking 3 times - go to a chain like prezzo/zizzi probably has more flavour !

Visited this evening with my other half for my birthday meal as we're on holiday in Skegness. The restaurant was noticeably quiet with only one other couple seated. The town itself seems very quiet too compared wih previous vists..However, we received a fabulous welcome and was made to feel at home. We explained that our return taxi wasn't due for 2 1/2 hours and we were in no hurry. The decor is beautiful with a stunning conservatory area running along the side of the building. We splashed out on two quite expensive (for us) bottles of wine and both were excuisite and well worth the cost. We ordered two starters, two mains a side order of garlic bread covered in cheese, and some chips. The portions are huge and we ended up taking half of the garlic bread away with us. The dishes arrived piping hot and were delicious. I couldn't manage a dessert but will definitely try one next time. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and would like to thank Elda for her wonderful service.

Great Food , even better service , large portions . Great steaks and pasta mains and the garlic bread with cheese and tomato was like a pizza .. and delicious ! our waitress was fantastic ,very decent value wine with a free limoncello at the end

the reataurent had just changed its name and we were dubious we had soup calamari and a foccacia to start then the two granchio lasagna and lobster ravioli. the service was unexpectedly good and friendly, clean loo's and a reasonable price

Went for a birthday meal on a Monday evening. It was fairly quiet. Bit concerned because of reviews, but really good. The food was pretty good - what you would expect for the price. It was very hot. The portions were probably a bit too big - neither myself nor my wife could finish the main, and had no space for pudding! The service was friendly, helpful, and very well timed.

It's unfortunate that Aroma is a little off the beaten track because if it were more centrally placed it would give Tarantino's a really good run for it's money. We went on a Wednesday night and it was very quiet. However, the service and food were spot on, we could not fault the food other than to say that perhaps the portions were too big!! We were staying in Skegness so took a taxi both ways to the restaurant and we weren't disappointed - we will definitely make a point of going there again on our next visit to Skegness.

We found the food to be of very poor quality and tasteless, will definitely not be visiting this so called Italian again. Quantity over quality and definitely not an authentic Italian in our opinion

Service was very slow 46 mins to get starters which were actually very good , unfortunately the mains were not , lasagne was very bland and the pollo pepe was extremely chewy , not recommended

After driving past Aroma a few times on our holiday we decided to research it on the Internet because one of our party has an allergy to dairy and sometimes its just easier to look for a vegan option (as long as it hasn't got nuts, although he can eat meat) there were menus on google showing a vegan menu, aswell as Aromas own Facebook having the same pictures of the menus and even the website of the resturant that we were directed to from the Facebook page we decided to book a meal for the 8 of us. If this was a rating based on food and service it would have been an 11/10 and I mean that the food we got was superb absolutely wonderful, love fresh chicken, juicy steak, authentic stone baked italian pizza, exquisite pasta dishes which totally danced on your taste buds! It was very memorable as was the fantastic service from the waitress who went back and forth for us many times and was alwaus attentive to our needs.....BUT.....our poor vegan member of our party didn't have many options after many trips back and forth to the chef for the waitress we were told at first he could only have pizza with no cheese, so ok no problem, he orders it.....then after that the waitress comes back and says no not possible because of the base, so only option is soup or steak, i asked about this vegan menu we saw online, get told no sorry all changed, ok no problem my 13yr old son is gonna try his first steak in a nice place and wow was it a nice steak, I could see it was perfectly cooked and my son was amazed by it! Wow dad my second favourite food to hotdogs 🤣....during the meal we are already pretty sure he's not going to have a dessert even though all the others do and have their eyes on the special board, we get the dessert menu and see lemon sorbet! Hurray we though sorbets......vegans can always have sorbets as no milk or dairy is in them, we ask about it and get told flatly NO sorry nothing for him on desserts......didn't even go back to the kitchen and check the ingredients or anything....... So Aroma.....sorry to say but you failed in that respect, sort your act out and get at least some options so that someone with allergies can enjoy a starter, main and dessert and come out happy and not feeling alienated or frustrated.......and sort out your website and take that vegan tick off of it because you don't deserve it.
