Cooplands in East Lindsey

I didn’t buy anything, q was long staff rude, the lady behind counter had a huge chip, spoke too the man in front of me like rubbish, she spent more time arguing than serving, I was with my elderly mother, we got correct change waited patiently, went too coop instead half the price and no Q?

Very impressed with the staff they were friendly, made the sandwiches to order, the cakes we chose were lovely. Your branch in Skegness need to follow your example!

Zara in the mablethorpe branch needs to smile and listen to what you order and speed up queue nearly out the door and still waiting the other staff had served everyone else and we were still waiting for 2 cobs then still came back from the till to ask what we had ordered for back home and order still wrong 3 times this week we've been in and 3 times she's served us and all still wrong

Staff too busy chatting amongst themselves to serve customers, one of the younger ones was picking at her nose 🤢 so off to another bakery we go

Lovely fresh sandwiches great assortment & will also make to order if required the pastries are to die for wide selection menu plus they do pies sausage rolls & a selection of drink

They make the best sandwiches, also salad boxes available, sausage rolls and other cooked pasty’s, various cakes there’s never enough cream cakes to last the day which is ashame, service is good, friendly staff…

Great bakers friendly staff, reasonably priced, yummy cakes.

Called in here this morning.Grabbed a tuna mayonnaise sub roll and was enticed by the poster on the wall with having a breakfast box.it looked OK in the picture on the wall.. left the shop...OMG..opened breakfast box..it looked gross,egg made of rubber, beans mushy,bacon very pink,fatty.hash brown a mushy oily taste.As for the sausage..don't think it was even cooked. Not even sure it was a sausage.Didnt dare eat any of it. Nothing like the picture..Gross. Will never go there again

Been going to cooplands many years.foods nice. Staff realy friendly Never had a problem with anything.

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Great selection of products to choose from. Staff were always welcoming and helped me pick something to choose. Good prices nothing appeared to be over priced. The quality of food is 100%

THE GREAT UK SALAD SEARCH- Pretty nice salad boxes. There were 4 to choose from and i got the impression you can build one with what you like. $4 with a water. Pretty decent size. And more than just lettuce. Peppers cucumber onion corn cabbage tomatoes. 👍🏻 will eat here again.

Absolutely pleased, well worth the trip. Fabulous cakes and pastries, friendly staff and excellent value for money.

Lovely bakery sell everything you could want from a bakery bread, rolls ,cakes and especially the sausage rolls and cheese straws. And the breakfast baps are 10 times better then Gregg's across the road and cheaper.

Their bread and buns are superb but service is hit and miss at different branches. I live 3 miles from one but drive 7 miles to Mablethorpe for my buns, the best around. I am gutted this shop may close in June. Obviously a rented property the new owners feel do not make money, yet in Spring and Summer the queue is onto the pavement outside. My only criticism of most Cooplands is someone orders a sandwich and very rarely does any other member of staff come to their aud when a queue builds. F

Went in today, totally ignored by 4 members of staff, no other customers, waited 5 minutes, walked out, really bad customer service, not even acknowledged.

Disgusting, I ordered two ham and cheese salad cobs and look what I got. What can I say, go down the road to Greg’s

One of the best bakery's! Coming from Derby we don't have this type of quality! Would definitely recommend their Bakewell slices (actually better than the ones from Bakewell)

i was served thankfully very quickly by the staff in there today as the town was very busy and no social distancing was taking place by other customers there were atleast 15 people waiting to be served aswell as myself in the very small shop, i was shocked at the amount of people in there as it is a very small place, the girls behind the counter seemed to be struggling to ensure that social distancing was taking place, not many people wearing a mask and there were no signs indicating how many people should be inside the shop at once however i am confident that last time i went in store only between 4-6 people were allowed in...is cooplands putting profit before their staffs safety? i was pleased that all staff were wearing either a visor or mask for their own sake, i was only in there for ten minutes waiting for my sandwich i felt uncomfortable myself being there that long let alone having to stand in there all day where members of the public are clearly not bothered about covid the safety of other people and most importantly the safety of themselves!

we bought buns and cake and quiche for our friends and thoroughly enjoyed them,they were fresh and tasty . The young lady who served us was very friendly and polite and we would go again

Great place for all bakery products. We love the cheese straws and cream cakes. Friendly and polite staff. Social distancing is good and screens up around counters. Feel safe and relaxed

Great cakes, bread, sausage rolls, ect...friendly staff very helpful...but over the passed few weeks they’ve been pushing these cakes on you not excepting “no thank you” for an answer...I had bought one a few days ago and now they are pushing u to buy another...makes you feel very uncomfortable....

Nice place which makes & prepares box salads, sandwiches, for lunch etc, sells cakes, buns & sandwich meal deals , staff are nice, service is good

The food was lovely, but the only thing that did bother me was that the lady who served us was putting bread out on the shelves before she came to serve us, but didn't wash her hands or put gloves on before she made our sandwiches, which I thought you had to do when handling food, basic hygiene, wearing disposable gloves?

Lovely bakery with a good choice of savoury and sweet goodies. I bought 4 baguettes and 1 wholemeal bap with filling choices and i also got 4 desserts in there for £18 which I thought was pretty decent when feeding my greedy lot. All the butty food was made to order and the staff are really friendly and polite.

Visited for breakfast around 8:30am.Bacon butty and a coffee for £2. Can’t go wrong. The bacon was hot and fresh, just the right amount of butter and a floured white bun that was fresh that morning. Coffee was hot and tasty. Perfect start to the day, would visit again.

We use Cooplands a lot when we are at our caravan,the food is always very good and the prices are very reasonable.

Stopped off here for a couple of warm sausage rolls on a cold morning. Good service and they didn't disappoint. Great selection of cakes and sandwiches. Located right on the main street so ideal for a takeaway before a walk on the beach.

Since being disappointed at another place we used to visit for sandwiches we started going to Copeland's for our ham salad sandwiches and even ventured into turkey salads for a change ...to say what these sarnie are like can be described as ..great.you can also get a deal on some sandwiches which include a bag of crisps and bottle of pop..so if your fed up of usual fish n chips.get a sarnie and sit on the beach with a cuppa rosy Lee....and their cakes and buns are great especially the custard vannilas....roll on next year

Who doesn't love a good sausage roll?? Well this is the place to get them & at 4 for £1 you can't get cheaper. The whole selection looks fab & we slowly have a different item each time we visit....other than the cheese straws....We have them EVERY visit as they're melt in the mouth. Staff are friendly & the place is immaculately clean.

For our pick nick on the beach we took a selection of items -Cheese straws - to die for gone in secondsSausage Rolls 4 for a pound - baked fresh Cakes and biscuits for all the family fresh every day from their bakery - best in town

I also don't agree with the previous review cooplands staff go above and beyond to help they are always very nice always smiling, the girls are wonderful the food is lovely and value for money and always fresh , the offers change so never get bored of the food .I will say it's like a breath of fresh air in the shop .keep up the good work girls !!

I do not agree with the previous review and thought I should relate my own experiences of Cooplands in High street, Mablethorpe. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The cream cakes are a delicious treat, as are all of the sweet treats offered. The pre-made sandwiches are all made fresh on the day or sandwiches are made to order with whatever fillings you fancy from the menu (there is also the choice of having a meal deal, which makes the sandwich+drink+crisps or sausage roll, excellent value for money).

one staff is well stuck up and moody think she owns the place, would rather go to ians which is next door for better service and friendly staff!!!

Like Cooplands very much. Use the Skegness Cooplands also. Good quality products and service with a smile! Cannot fault them.

We have cooplands in hull and a few other places we visit,the quality and standard of fare they sell is excellent throughout all their stores,this one is no exception,their selection of buns and cakes are hard to choose from,as they all look and taste delicious,I would highly recommend this shop.

we have a couple of cake shops here in mablethorpe and the best is Cooplands,they will make your sandwiches up o your own mix fresh plus all the dels they have on their cakes and the sausage rolls are the best in town for a £1.00 lovely.

We stopped off at Cooplands for a sandwich for lunch while in Mablethorpe. Easy to find as located on the High Street not far from the seafront. Lovely choice of sandwiches and had a takeaway coffee too.
