Everything we had was spot on. The cod was 5 star. Very friendly staff would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately not a nice experience and would not recommend or go again. Had to wait around 20 minutes, the food was cold, worst burger and kebab we’ve ever had, dry and no flavour, part of my order was wrong and sauce forgotten. Chippy down the road much better!

Very tasty fish and chips, with great service

Dropped in for fish and chips , when everyone was ordering the large fish , I wish I had gone for that option but when it came I wasn’t disappointed was more than enough for me and I like my food. Fish was bloody lovely . Being in the trade I go to a lot of fish and chips shops but can highly recommend them from the gingham,

Omg I had the large haddock and I must say it was very close to being the best fish iv ever had!! It was cooked to order by a chap called ray and omg be deffo returning!!

Asked for 2 lightly battered cod with chips. Waited about 8 minutes. Well worth it, the fish was delicious, the chips were nothing special, so will stick to fish only in future. £8.50 each isn't too bad. Will definitely be back for the cod again.

Food wasn't very nice, fish was dry and chips were tasteless. Service is slow and one person serving, better places around!

The food at Mrs M is so good and I think the service that is amazing because it's also a normal chip you know so they'll be very busy and I think they don't do anything wrong the food is amazing good quality and staff is so friendly

The establishment seemed amazing considering the only British fish and chips. Sadly the woman was working hard but the younger lady is so rude to her colleague. The chips taste like an alginate nursing dressing, if non medical reading it, then it smells perfumed. Totally disgusting! I couldn't believe my taste buds and my nasal paths. I wish the younger lady sorts her self out and the chips change so there isn't a perfume smell and hopefully it isn't toxins...

Usually have fish and chips from their place in Ingoldmells. As I'm staying in Chapel St Leonards I tried their shop there. Ordered large fish and chips as usual. All cooked perfectly as always. Large fish was fantastic. Just seem to have forgotten the chips. I had about 20 chips some of which were tiny! I thought large fish and chips meant large portions of both. Obviously I was mistaken!

The best fish and chip shop I’ve been too for a while everything cooked fresh tastes amazing …my friend had the fish and chips.. I had battered sausage clean fresh oil scraps as well . Yum 😋

The Fish and chips was lovely and the mega fish did not disappoint. It was freshly cooked and not greasy. The staff was really friendly and i would highly recommend.

Dry fish not tasty won't be returning there again

Got wrong order. Shouldn't be to hard really as it was only sausage and chips. Had better value for money elsewhere tbh. Chips were nice but not much of them for the money!
