Great little place! Breakfast was great! Great value for money! Will def return again on our next visit to the area. Nice little outdoor seating area, we had our puppy with us, staff were great! They brought out some water for our pup. Great service, friendly staff and fab food!

I’ve popped into Cooplands in Coningsby a few times now and unfortunately haven’t had the best experience. The staff always come across as a bit unfriendly, and on my last visit, the Cornish pasty I bought was stone cold. When I asked if they could warm it up, I was told they’re not allowed to, which is disappointing for a bakery. What actually prompted me to leave this review is seeing someone from a local holiday park raving about how great this place is – maybe I’ve just been unlucky with timing. I’m more than happy to return and give it another try, and if it lives up to the praise, I’ll do a proper review on my YouTube channel, Southerners on Tour.

So disappointed. Went in and stood for 5 mins waiting for someone to come and speak to us. I eventually went and asked at the bar if we should just stand there or come to the bar. We were only having a drink but having looked around and saw loads (80%) of the tables were empty decided on looking at eating. We asked for a menu and when we asked whether we would be able to eat were told "we can fit you in at 8pm" it was around 4:45 when we went in. I said no thanks and went outside to eat. I then found the number and called and asked if we could eat and we were told 5:15. (which in itself is a tad annoying.) We ordered a meat platter for £21.50 and when it arrived I was beyond disappointed - 4 slices of 3 lots of meat, small bowl of olives and 6 pieces of bread for £21.50. It was tasteless so i asked for some balsamic vinegar for the dry bread. As there wasnt allot of food I ordered a cheesey garlic bread which was apparently 'Really good' it was not really good. We sat next to a couple and they told us that the table next to them had reserved on it and they had been there an hour and a half - why wasn't this table occupied? If the management read this and give me an explanation as to why the whole experice was appalling I will be happy to remove my review. When I went to pay my bill I told the guy behind the bar how bad it all was and we had left half of the dry bread he still took the full payment.

Lovely warm welcome on arrival, didn't have to wait long for our order to be taken. Lovely local produce which was cooked beautifully. The portions were huge and the price was so reasonable. The homemade brownies and cakes looked amazing! My daughter's both got a brownie to take away and said they were the best brownies they had ever tasted. If I am ever in the area again will definitely be back!!

It's October half term and we were staying at Tattershall Lakes. It was so busy we couldn't get through by phone so we popped down and placed our order in person. Having seen they had a delivery to a caravan just along from us we asked if ours could be delivered at the same time (about an hour from ordering) They agreed, the food duly arrived and was delicious. Hot, big portions and even included some non-menu adjustments for our vegetarian daughters. Leftovers were eaten for breakfast before the 5 hour drive home!

Me and my daughter decided to pop for a drink as we had a couple of things to do in the area. On the way back i thought i would pop into the Leagate Inn for a pint and she could have an Appletiser. I had one of the tiny rebel beers. When we received our drinks i was shocked at the price of them. £11.10 for a pint and an appletiser. Wow. Safe to say we won’t be back in a hurry as those prices are way over the top. I understand pubs are struggling but overcharging for drinks isn’t going to bring in punters. This was an afternoon in half term and with such a nice child friendly outside area you would think it would be busier but i’m guessing the prices put alot of people off. Such a shame as the pub and outside area do seem great but with those prices i definitely won’t be hurrying back
