The Cob Shop in East Lindsey

Great little place! Breakfast was great! Great value for money! Will def return again on our next visit to the area. Nice little outdoor seating area, we had our puppy with us, staff were great! They brought out some water for our pup. Great service, friendly staff and fab food!

I honestly thought this place was quite expensive and I popped in after I couldn't get what I wanted at cooplands. Wow such choice and amazing value. I chose the coronation chicken baguette and I couldn't wait to get home to eat it, in fact I was drooling before I sat down. Thoroughly enjoyed it to the last bite. Will definitely be back to try more on the menu. Very friendly and polite staff too this will definitely be my go to location from now on.

Been going here whilst working locally. Been today you have to order breakfast ahead on a Friday. But only if it’s now the large one! Very strange! Terrible attitude from lady who I can only assume is in charge. Spoke to us all in discussing manner. Doesn’t seem to be able to handle the pressure of putting extra bacon or sausages on a pan. Average food and Terrible service. One more thing all eggs come out burnt!

so been here a few times and always had good fresh food nice ham also found the staff friendly sometimes a bit of waiting but worth it

Passing through Coningsby on Saturday, we came across the cob shop on the Main Street . Only small, but very welcoming and provides an excellent cup of tea and bacon sandwich ( there was plenty of other choice). Lovely bacon! It was the BBMF display day so they were doing a roaring trade, but we did not have to wait long. Shall definitely make a beeline for here on our next trip this way. Opens at 9am which, incredibly, the only other choice in the village does not. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little cafe attached to a bike shop and 100 yards from a beautiful river walk. Probably one of the best ever full English breakfasts we’ve ever had. Went for the medium size and it could have fed an army! Sandwiches, cakes, jacket potatoes, they had it all. Best of all, super dog friendly; my 4 yr old Sprocker got free sausage and didn’t want to leave.

I thought the food was ok but my partner didn't really enjoy his hence the 3 stars we did only have a breakfast cob so can't comment on other items.

Recently under new management in 2018. Their has been some great changes. A great selection of fresh salads , and the bread baps are great

My husband has a breakfast box and I had a cheese burger and cheesy chips we were both very impressed with the quality of all the food the burger bun was so soft really beautiful we will be back

After seeing one of the tapas boxes advised on Facebook I bought one to share with a friend. Amazing quality, very tasty! and good value for money. Just enough for the two of us. Friendly service upon collection and very responsive to messages. Would definitely reccomend

Nicola and Dale have pulled out all the stops to make this the No.1 eating establishment in the area. Eat in or take-away, but not the usual mass produced rubbish you get from cerain other places in the area, this is top notch food all freshly prepared and to a very high standard. They now do a local delivery service and delivered Sunday lunches too, OMG, these are to die for! Check them out. 11/10 !!!

Have recently started using the on Shop as our usual venue has gone down hill. I wish we had started using it sooner. Great quality food and a very warm welcome from the family owners. Please support it. You wont regret it

Under new management for a while now, and variety is great with lots to offer from cold to hot bagettes or rolls. all cooked fresh while you wait, you can dine in or out as they have a table outside as well. Good value for money and friendly staff

Have tried most of the menu since the new owners have taken over & can honestly say not had a bad dish yet. The filled rolls/baguettes fillings are always super fresh & plenty of filling. The chilli is my favourite can’t beat it Def worth a visit

Breakfast box. Thrown in a box, no thought at all to the breakfast, hash brown not cooked, no choice of pork sausage, bacon not cooked, toast burnt. Absolutely disgusting. Tomatoes overcooked. Should be ashamed to serve that to a paying customer

I popped in here on a weekday afternoon as I wanted something warm for lunch and was fed up with sandwiches. I ordered sausage sandwiches etc and was not disappointed. They sandwiches were already prepped with sauce and wrapped in tin foil so by the time I get home, they were perfect to eat straight out of the wrapping. This isn’t gastro pub and isn’t pretending to be. Just a good sausage bap to fill a hole.

Fabulous place to get a salad or bacon roll freshly made lovely. Go there whenever we can, I always have a salad as I am on a diet and my hubby has a bacon and egg roll fab.

Friendly take away butty shop that offers a wide range of delicious hot and cold food, perfect for hangovers 😉 Fillings/portions are very generous which means it's brilliant value for money. Always served with a smile and never fail to disappoint.

Love this place for their breakfast baps, come here each time after a night of drinking and it never fails to taste lovely! Food is served within minutes of paying and also does crisps and drinks

The food at this place was disgusting, we would never visit here when in the area , price was ok but the food made us feel sick to much Mayo in virtually everything

Does what it says on the tin! Good cobs with plenty of choices for fillings at a great price. They don't skimp on your filling too. Great for lunch.
