We came on the 11th Aug to celebrate my 50th birthday and the management whent above and beyond as when we sat at our table they put a birthday banner on the table they also got me a balloon with 50 o and also a birthday card also the food was fantastic as always everytime we are down that area on holiday I always book our Sunday dinner there as can't fault it

Visited recently after a day out playing in the arcades and shopping. Ordered from the normal main menu and the gluten free menu. Had chicken nuggets and chips. And stated one of us was gluten and lactose intolerant. Considering one order was gluten free both sampled the gluten free option and were pleasantly surprise how they tasted no different to the normal chicken nuggets (often gluten free is tatseless). Highly recommend as the menus for vegan options, gluten free and normal meals are extensive. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help to ensure your order is correct. Would happily visit again ☺️

Whenever in Mablethorpe we always go to the Dunes for Lunch. Paddy always sorts out my daughters whims with her food and the staff are always friendly often going above and beyond what I would expect. Always recognised and definitely made to feel welcome. As the Dunes motto says, "Enter as strangers, leave as friends!" I couldn't have put it better myself.

Come with family with two Little ones the staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed always had time to talk to you

This place is the best to go if u need breakfast, dinner and drinks. Perfect view of the beach and the staff are so polite and always have a smile whilst serving.

Absolutely love this place. Staff are so friendly. Especially Debbie who makes you feel really welcome. Plenty of seating, with sea views. Live entertainment and child friendly

After moving to Mablethorpe I’ve been fortunate enough to have several visits to the Dunes on Mablethorpe beach. Each and every occasion has always left me impressed with the quality of food, the attentiveness of staff, the cleanliness of the facilities and the value for money on both food and drink. I can easily recommend to anyone who visits Mablethorpe to pop in and see for yourselves just what a gem the Dunes is. 5 Stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Made a point of turning up for the carvery and was not disappointed as the meal was first class. Prices were reasonable and it had car parking outside. Unfortunately you had to pay which was £1.60 for a couple of hours. Felt really guilty as we left as we had no loose change to leave a tip as we had used our two quid to pay for the parking. Sorry girls I blame this cashless society.

Fantastic venue hosting a variety of events and activities. Always welcomed by a friendly team. A nice variety menu with all personal needs catered for. I recommend a visit when you are in mablethorpe.

If you are looking for somewhere with a great friendly atmosphere, fantastic food and great Entertainment The Dunes Complex is the place to go. I love this place, the staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome, I have made many great friends here, had many lovely meals and also have created many great memories from different events and entertainment evenings.

Whether you want an a really tasty meal or Sunday dinner a beer or to enjoy the Entertainment in this great place to go & it's right by the sea ,you won't be disappointed. Was looking for a place to watch the England game with the family whilst enjoying some food...always a tricky task...but this place delivered. We watched the game on a giant screen in the theatre whilst receiving great service in a lovely family atmosphere. Another thing that impressed me was the great range of beers at the bar as it's usually just Madri or Carlsberg/Carling most places. I was spoilt for choice and had a lovely Belgian beer Blue Moon followed by a Staropromen on tap and felt this rivalled weatherspoons for choice which is important for me having a few things to sample during a sesh. Overall a great experience coming from out of town and looking for a good family/drinking/friendly pub and venue!

I truly can't rate this place highly enough. As a child I performed here many a time when it was known as The Dunes Theatre. I contacted them to ask if I could visit and share some of my childhood memories with my husband whilst we were on our honeymoon in Mablethorpe. To say Debbie went above and beyond is an understatement! Not only did we get a tour and was able to stand on the very stage I performed on many a time but we also was presented with 2 beautiful souvenirs from our visit. A stunning personalised shell and a stunning card featuring photos of the past n present. I'm not an emotional person but, Debbie, you got me right in the feelies. Yup choked up n happy tears. We had a wonderful afternoon.. beautiful food, entertainment on, sat by the sea n hving a pint or two in a brilliant, warm, welcoming, fun atmosphere. What more can you ask for? Thank you so much to you all at the Dunes. I will treasure this visit always.

Had the fish and chips basket special was probably the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Fish definitely tasted frozen, chips had a hair on. Wouldn't recommend

Thank you to The Dunes for making the B&M 1st anniversary celebration a success! The room was decorated especially for us and the buffet provided was fantastic and plentiful. We enjoyed joining in with the games night Bingo. A great time had by all. See you at the next one!

Superb serving staff. What a wonderful and welcoming family pub. Offers a lovely range of meals and snacks. There is a wide range of fantastic entertainment for all the family. Managers are very attentive and proactive to ensure that our experience was the best possible. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic venue. Had a few beers, asked staff if we could watch the Dutch game against Romania in the euros on the television to which they obliged. Drinks were the right price. Outdoor seating with a great view of the beach. Would come again.

We popped in on a sunny Saturday afternoon, a live singer gave the place a brilliant lively atmosphere. We had a couple of reasonably priced drinks and a snack, again reasonably priced and very filling! Highly recommended!

My association with the Dunes goes back to the 80s. I now visit to perform as a solo female vocalist and without fail I always recieve such a warm welcome from Debbie and Paddy. They are genuinely lovely people and they really look after their visiting artists and customers alike. A perfect sea front location and a guaranteed warm welcome - what more could anyone want?!

This is the place to go in Mablethorpe. I was on my holiday by myself, I walked into the Dunes very nervous and a lovely lady called Julie invited me to games night on that Sunday evening. I had so much fun, everyone made me feel so welcome. They treat you like they've known you years in there and they don't make you feel like an outsider like some places do. I laughed so much and I made a new friend that I added on Facebook. I moved from Peterborough to Scotland 5 years ago and if I lived closer I genuinely would be there every week. I loved it so much I even went back on Wednesday to play pool (amazing table and match balls) great cues too. I'm hoping to come back to Mablethorpe later on in the year and it will be the first place I go to. Thank you Paddy and everyone who made me feel welcome.

We visited mablethorpe on Saturday with the " safe in our hands" guardians group with 10 children and 7 adults. When it started raining, we looked for somewhere to eat and not only were The Dunes able to accommodate us all, they let us use a large private room with space for the littles to play, got all the 16 meal and drink orders right, served with a smile at the same time. They even put music on for the children to have a dance. Definitely went the extra mile. Thankyou

A family friendly place Lovely landlord and his wife who very kindly gave us a lift as we couldn’t get a taxi! The lady would not accept any payment and we were very grateful as my mum of 87 years old was too tired to walk back. Kindness itself Thank you xx

We are regulars to Mablethorpe and it wouldn’t be a holiday without stopping at The Dunes. We pop in at least once a day while we’re away for a drink (or two) and sometimes food! Friendly staff, really comfortable atmosphere, music and right on the beach! Best place by far and is a little home away from home! Well done The Dunes team x

Nice place to stop for a drink and a bite to eat over looking sea front, good value food. also dog friendly, they allow dogs at a limit number of tables inside, so you need to ask, plenty of outside seating

I was out on my usual bike ride with my son and we headed to the Dunes complex . Where we had help getting parked by the owner as it was very busy . She said are you after food , we said yes fish and chips She said try ours you won’t be disappointed. She wasn’t lying ! They were the best iv had in a long time , My son had scampi with his fish an chip that was amazing also everything was cooked fresh to order. Definitely going back Keep up the good work guys 👍

Always visit the dunes for Sunday dinner when we are down mablethorpe, great value for money and goons service, the carvery is freshened up regularly, never been disappointed.

We attended the Dunes for the presentation night of The Mablethorpe motorcycle sandracing club. The food was excellent. The staff were very attentive.

A fantastic friendly place for drinks, great food, great entertainment and games nights are such fun we go every Friday and Sunday.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. The Dunes Complex is definitely the place to be for exquisite food, entertainment and genuine warm welcomes from the proprietor, his amazing wife and wonderful staff. Five stars all the time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely shocking service very judgement and extremely poor staffing and I strongly wouldnt recommend management are poor to say the least they hide in the back away from issues

Another fantastic night at the Dunes complex bingo and games night. We always have a great laugh and have made some great friends. The food is always delicious and drinks very reasonably priced. The owner Paddy prince makes the games night unique and the staff are so friendly and welcoming too.

As a local I can say that the best place to go for entertainment and brilliant staff is The Dunes.

Good pub food with amazing and friendly staff. I go here regularly with my wife, and we always enjoy it. Our favourite is the entertainment. There is regularly a good entertainer or better still, why not check out the brilliant comedy nights. There are several throughout the year, with top notch comedians. It's a brilliant night, well organised, and best accompanied with a beer from the wide range at the bar. Just pop in and ask Paddy or Debbie when the next one is. You won't be disappointed!

Went with my family on Easter Monday fantastic food wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for you and so relaxing with the view of the sea highly recommended.

My partner and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and both had the carvery. It was absolutely beautiful, the meats we're all cooked perfectly and the selection of vegetables was great. We were both extremely satisfied with our meal and the friendly and helpful staff made it a very pleasurable visit. We'll certainly be back and would highly recommend it. Great value for money too.

Really nice little place to go to only went in the day time though I don't no what it's like at night-time staff and really friendly but to have a pint looking over the beach and out to sea I mean it dose not get any better then that. Recommend a visit. I definitely will be back if I'm in the area.

Went on Bingo night and it was really welcoming crowd and atmosphere, kind of like a family group and Sunday dinner was on that day and only £3 for chips, pie, peas and gravy. Lots of bingo and fun games at low prices. Beer was good too and great view of the sea and beach

An amazing place to visit, with beautiful views of the beach. During our visit we were made to feel really welcome, nothing was too much trouble for the managers and staff, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We had a Sunday carvery which was amazing value, with the choice of four meats that were cooked to perfection and served with a great selection of fresh vegetables. We went back later for games night which again was fantastic with lots of friendly interaction, laughter and great fun and atmosphere. Winning on the bingo and Higher and lower card game was a nice little bonus. We will definitely be using the Dunes frequently now, one of our favourite places to be.

Been here 2yrs running now for new year. Brilliant night and owners can't do enough for you. We didn't realise it was ticket only this year and they had sold out months ago but when we told them we'd only visited to come here again they fit us in and we're extremely welcoming on the night. Would highly recommend for family's who have children ,the games are great to keep them entertained.

Visited here for a Sunday carvery while visiting a relative. The meal was very nice, staff were excellent and they even came around and gave us all a Christmas cracker which I thought was nice. Even though there was music playing in the background it wasn't load and made conversations easy. Will visit again.

Spent our Xmas party at the Dunes all I can say is wow the carvery Xmas dinner was amazing all the trimmings and even crackers ! The host Paddy did a fabulous job at keeping us entertained. The bar staff was quick and pleasant and the dj kept us singing and dancing all night long. Would definitely recommend for any event or just a quick pint.

Had our staff Christmas party there this year and easily catered for around 60 of us with a festive buffet nothing to much effort and the entertainment provided with dj and music made the night run effortlessly and all involved had a great time Staff kept the drinks flowing and allowed everybody to enjoy themselves will most certainly look there again next year

My wife and i went to see a ska act,SKABURSTuk there it was full but not to full you had to stand,clean, warm and the staff where very busy so afew mins wait,nice place
