Always a pleasure to call in to Mrs C’s. Shelley (at short notice) put together afternoon teas for three people for me to take away. Everything was excellent as usual - plentiful, fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend and will keep coming back. Thank you 😍

If you want a good Chinese meal at a relatively decent price, then this is the place to go.John and Bev are excellent hosts.The food is plentiful, hot, and well prepared A good selection of wine, beer, spirits and liquors.Car parking at the rear,but only enough space for about 6 vehicles The restaurant seats probably around 30.Nice background music too.I can't fault it.

Had a my son’s first’s birthday party and it was an amazing night . Food was delicious fresh everybody loved it ,service was amazing , we had lovely music played on dancing , lovely place nice atmosphere, beautifully designed place . I highly recommending . Definitely will be back!

Absolutely normal for a Premier Inn hotel but the restaurant was very disappointing.

Great food and always delivering quality, probably the best Chinese in derby

The staff are very slow at tending to people, wasting the staffs break time. They haven’t had meatballs in for a very long time. They have change the box of nachos to a little tray that wouldn’t make a child feel full.

Quality Indian Cuisine...sorted. Highly recommended. Great quality tasty Indian food in a large local restaurant...suitable for larger groups & parties.

The food was really good . Nice specials on offer. Just a little noisy but on a different day the noisy customers may not be there. Highly recommend it.

Good music and good value drinks. Have not been for a very long time and it has changed since I last went (no longer serves food and more open plan than it was). Won't leave it as long until I next go,

Well what a sad review to write. The team have been pulled apart under the closure terms, many of which have been made redundant from a career they have worked in for decades. Until the news it has always been great food and great service. Understandable that they slipped a bit given the circumstances. Thank you all for your years of service to us all. All the best for the whole team for the future. Derby will miss The Mallard!
