Rats running around, would definitely not recommend.

Perfect location for anyone needing to use Derby hospital. Check in was fast and simple. Menu was rather small but food was hot, fresh and tasty. The room looked like it hadn’t been hoovered, although it was well equipped and comfortable. It would have been helpful having a phone in the room though aa we needed bed sheets and had to walk the full length of the building to speak to reception. We also only had 1 bath sheet and 1 hand towel, which was unexpected for a Family Room. The staff were a credit to the company, especially Amy, who checked us in, made up the extra bed, booked us in for a meal and looked after us during the meal, always polite, professional and friendly.

During my business stayed at the Derby west premier inn on the 17th and 18th of February ,I experienced Some of the best service I have had at any premier inn. Both Ami and Hannah went well above themselves in a courteous and professional manner, particularly when under massive pressure on my second night in the Restaurant, when a large number of guests all arrived to eat at the same time, they work together tirelessly, to ensure everyone was served in a timely manner, all with a beaming smile. A credit to the brand and as I will be staying there next week again for business, I look forward to a quality experience.

Ami was fantastic, friendly and very attentive she's a real asset to the team. The room was spacious and clean. Would recommend!

Smallest tv in the world, creaking floors old premier inn

Generally a pleasant stay, staff very friendly. Not the best Premier Inn I've stayed in but bed comfortable as always. Few niggly bits for me like the bathroom standard wasn't great, I stayed in an accessible room, small things I felt just needed some tidying up.

Reception staff very friendly, and couldn't be more helpful. But the room on the other hand, was very tired and grubby. The bathroom had a distressed feel to it, the mirror for a start was worn away round the edges. Dirty grouting around bath area. But more importantly when I came to shower, no hot water. But never one to give up ran a bath instead, as you may have guessed no hot water. The carpet had some marks that made me feel a bit uneasy. Paint work looks like it could do with a touch up. I expected a little more from premier inn

I stayed here for one night due to the fact that I was visiting the Derby Royal Hospital the next morning. The room was dirty, the loo seat, the wash hand basin, the headboard & the tea-tray a UV torch check and they were so rank that I spent the next 30 minutes cleaning it up. It was also very noisy through the night. Sounded like someone was dragging furniture & stomping around heavily. Never again!

Once again Ideally situated for my needs. Room temperature just right for me. All I required a clean bed, clean bathroom, plenty of parking. Since last visit neighbouring Brewers Fayre has closed. For me won't be missed. Bar and food facilities now in house. Staff in bar/restaurant very helpful, friendly and accommodating

I have stayed at the premier inn very regularly and have always had great service. Shaun in particular is very friendly, helpful and very kind. All of the staff are great but Shaun goes above and beyond! Definitely recommend this premier inn

Absolutely normal for a Premier Inn hotel but the restaurant was very disappointing.

A nice Premier Inn with lots of parking. Reception and check-in was quick and friendly. The accessible room was grand, but the bathroom had a tub which isn't any use to me. Breakfast was as good as any other Premier Inn. The porridge was delicious.

Would have been fine, especially for the money. Room was okay, breakfast was adequate, service friendly and helpful. However, should you stay here, insist on a room on the first floor. We were on the ground floor and the floor above creaked loudly when anyone upstairs moved across it, and they clearly had a very restless guest above our room. Peaceful night’s sleep? Not so much. I just don’t know how to break it to Lenny Henry.

Great hotel for visit Alton Towers and Halloween events like Scream Fest not too far away

Unfortunately my company booked me into this hotel for 3 nights whilst I attended a training course. I say Unfortunately because I suffer from coeliac disease which means that I can't eat food containing gluten. They literally have 1 dish that I can eat on their menu. I can't believe a company as big as this doesn't offer more options.
