I tried Kim’s for the first time last night and it was very lovely😍. Kim has a very bubbly and kind aura & has great customer service. I would definitely recommend!

Two old ladies looking for a cuppa and something nice to avoid going straight home after Church have tried most cafes and tea rooms in the area south of Derby. When we found the Mad Hatter, we knew our prayers had been answered. Cute, cozey tea room with canal-side area that can cope with all but the worst weather. There are even wasp traps so the stingers leave the customers in peace. The menu is adaptable to any diet and the Staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Given that the food is prepared to order and REALLY great, what more can you want? Car parking? Not a problem !

Food was excellent and good value, the spare ribs were very meaty, we will visit again for sure.

El entorno es perfecto, obviamente, pero la organización del restaurante significa que se siente bastante lujoso ya que no estás justo en la cima de sus vecinos. La acogida y el servicio ejemplar y nuestros hijos eran totalmente nulas con atención. Muchas gracias a nuestro anfitrión, nada era demasiado problema. La comida era la mejor que he comido. Mis padres tenían el jamón, huevos y patatas fritas, que era magnífico - rodajas de jamón y patatas fritas preciosas real casero. Mi marido y yo, que estaban cargados de patatas pieles con coberturas suntuoso. Por último, mis hijos disfrutaron mucho de su correcta tanto pescado y patatas fritas. Una fiesta increíble para los 6 de nosotros fuimos un poco menos de 50 libras, incluyendo bebidas - excelente relación calidad-precio. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo. Mucho mejor que otras comidas hemos comido alrededor de Pride Park. Gracias.

When we travel to Derby, we always have coffee at 200 degrees. As a takeaway, I purchased 500 grams of decaff coffee beans, which were ground as I enjoyed my coffee and cake. The staff are always very polite and supportive helpful.

My mum and her friend visited today for lunch prior to meeting me. They were delighted with their visit and requested I put a review on Tripadvisor on their behalf as they do not put reviews on themselves being 86 and 80 years old and not really Internet savvy. So I hope this review is accepted by TA. They said the premises are so clean, the food is very nice as is the coffee, amazing value too. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and when they come back to visit they will definitely be calling in again. They said it is a five star cafe. Highly recommended. They brought a menu back with them so I have attached it.

Lovely greeting and made very welcome, decided to eat in and my breakfast cob and cup of tea were very good value.

Turned up yesterday lunch time to be told that they weren't doing food.

My family and I came in the other day to celebrate my son’s birthday. It was an amazing meal from the food to the drinks and the service was just spectacular. Our night was served by a lovely waitress called Abigail, and she was attentive throughout the evening making sure we were all set and we were all satisfied. With the food being amazing and the service even better this night has decided where I will be taking my family out for further occasions. I’d like to thank Seven and especially Abigail for the incredible night engraved in our minds. Seven out of 7 for me. Amazing.

To be honest will use this Birds from now on, Ascot drive. Staff were friendly and no one had a look on their face, very pleasant environment! 👍
