Coffee to go, called in like several occasions before, ordered a coffee told to wait outside, after 10 mins I asked nicely was it ready as waitress walked by, she walked back in saying for ffs, came out with the coffee slammed it down telling me not to bother going again. Don't worry I won't. Pity coffee was good.

Fabulous Sunday Lunch! Lunch was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was a real treat — everything served inside a giant Yorkshire pudding! The portion size was generous, and the choice of meats was great. The chicken breast was a proper fillet, which was a nice touch as most places tend to serve it on the bone. The only downside was the beef, which was chewy and slightly fatty, making it harder to cut and enjoy. That said, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be going back regardless. Highly recommend!

I came here for my Granddaughter's birthday last week, and the service and food was a 10/10. I got the fish and chips and onion rings, and there were no complaints, everything was perfect and the portions were so generous, we were all 100% satisfied, would come again.

Such an amazing place! The best beer garden with such a nice atmosphere. Had a Sunday roast last week which was very good. Pizza shed in the back serving pizzas/ dough balls which look and smell fab. Ice creams at the cowshed are unreal (the queue is quite big on a weekend) and live music on the weekends through the summer is such a nice addition

Fantastic gastro pub, tucked away and only found by those that know and value it! This was a valentine's dinner, late table booked but place was still buzzing with people coming after us. Bit of a change round of rooms since my last visit a few months earlier, and I preferred it, the dining room was very comfortable, while being intimate at the same time. Very tasty food, well cooked. Don't expect vast portions, but you won't need them! Rich sauces, great ingredients and a good wine selection mean that you will be more than satisfied with your plate. Always good to see a limited menu, not vast swathes of choices, just good, local food done well. Pigeon breast to start, followed by the pork platter, one to have again! Staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the ambience was great.

I had a fantastic experience during my recent visit to The Sun Inn, Everton. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, making it perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food was absolutely excellent—each dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, balanced flavours. Whether it was the perfectly cooked main or the indulgent dessert, everything exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be returning soon and recommending it to friends!

Genuine country pubs like the Blacksmiths Arm in Everton are a rare thing these days. Great atmosphere, food, drink selection and front of house hospitality. Highly recommended.

Nos alojamos aquí durante la noche y también cenamos en el Angel. La comida era fantástica, tuvimos 3 platos, todos hechos en casa y muy bien cocinados. El bar tenía muy buenas ventas, e incluso había un cantante / guitarrista actuando que era muy bueno. Adele era muy acogedor y nuestra habitación con baño estaba muy limpia y cómoda con un montón de agua caliente. Como es casi diciembre el calentador estaba encendido en la habitación y estaba tostado! Había una mini nevera con agua embotellada, té y café y galletas en la habitación. Había artículos de aseo, toallas, secador de pelo y TV. Muy recomendable!
