So Good It Yurts in Bassetlaw

Coffee to go, called in like several occasions before, ordered a coffee told to wait outside, after 10 mins I asked nicely was it ready as waitress walked by, she walked back in saying for ffs, came out with the coffee slammed it down telling me not to bother going again. Don't worry I won't. Pity coffee was good.

Slightly unfair 3-star review, as I think they have suffered from their own popularity and success, so we'll definitely return another time to see how things are when it hasn't been so busy. Really hot day today, and I think everyone was out in force walking, dog walking, and dropping in here - obviously extremely popular place - for refreshments, breakfast or lunch. We were going to have their full English breakfast and another meal, but when we came, just after 1, they weren't doing any more 'plated food'; they said they'd been so busy they were taking pause to regroup, restock and wash up! They weren't that busy now, as most customers had left (though a steady stream arrived while we were there). We changed our order to the only food available: baps with bacon, tuna, etc. Tea and coffee took a very long time to arrive (in fact, the bacon baps came first...). We had asked for baps to be 'heavy on the bacon, and very crispy'; they got the heavy bit right, but missed out on the crispy - to the extent that some (most!) of the bacon really was undercooked. My wife sent hers back, it was redone - and was hardly much better... Done a third time, and this time OK. They were very pleasant, happy to help and very willing, but we had a made a special trip to suss this place out and did feel a bit short-changed! It's very dog-friendly, clearly very popular with locals. great outdoor seating, and plenty of off-road parking, and are doing most of it right. Great location just outside Bawtry, about 9 miles from Gainsborough, so an easy place to get to if you are in the area. Hopefully next time will be better!

Just a great unappreciated place. Known mostly to locals, Italian food that is terrific. Shrimp Casa Bella to die for. A little hard to find, get that GPS going ( very tucked away) but be rewarded with a fun, unique and delicious meal.

Called in with my 2 kids on Good Friday for a breakfast all though they don’t do a full English the young girl said she would make us one up we all chose what we wanted then when and sat at table, the food and drink arrived at it was amazing nice fresh and great portions well done 10/10 from us

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Alison and all the staff at So Good It Yurts who hosted a baby shower this afternoon on behalf of my daughter. We received such a warm welcome and were given time to add personal touches to the yurt before Mum-to - be and guests arrived. The menu was varied, portions huge and food delicious. We loved the unique setting and wouldn't hesitate to visit again be it for a coffee, meal or future celebration.

What a lovely find! 😍 Great service, dog friendly. Excellent coffee and perfect bacon sandwiches. We will be back soon! 💟

We stopped by as we was on our way to Gainsborough, so we thought we would stop in for a a spot to eat. We did have to wait for the food however well worth the wait!!!! Excellent customer service and the food was delicious! We will be back again.

Visited here after reading reviews and recommendations.. totally disappointed with over priced panini with nothing at all for vegetarians. Staff friendly enough but went round the corner and smoked spreading smoke smells into the eating area. Not good enough really

We called in on our way to Gringley On The Hill, which is where we were staying for our holiday. We were greeted by smiling faces and the food was fantastic. Would highly recommend the Panini’s. We then decided to call in on our way home for breakfast before we set off on our travels to the Lake District. And again the food was delicious. The staff that were working treated us fantastically and were highly interested in where we live and how our holiday had been. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Wow!! What a great find this place was - we’ve driven past it a few times so this time we pulled in to try it. Choice and Quality of the food was tops and the portions were more than adequate at very reasonable prices. panini bread was rock hard and size was quite small. not an enjoyable eat after a 30+ minute wait. wouldn’t recommend if you are after a quick bite on your lunch break!

I have been many times pre Covid but this was my first visit since all of the restrictions were put in place regarding openings. It was great, table service and the waitress was lovely. The adition of the new climbing frame went down great with my friends little girl. She loved it. As will my son when i next take him for an ice-cream!

Quirky little cafe with a wonderful selection of cakes and scones. Added bonus was that our dogs were welcomed with open arms, bowls of water and handfuls of biscuits. We will be coming back!

Stopped for cake and coffee in the yurt. Delicious and the cake slices are enormous. Warm inside, staff incredibly friendly (and fussed over the dogs) and a nice walk along the path in the field adjoining.

Lovely fresh cooked food. Friendly staff. Lots of care and trouble has gone into making the cafe covid-safe. We had a super brunch.

Best latte I’ve ever had. Sat in the sun after a lovely dog walk looking over the fields behind the yurt. The perfect back drop. I can highly recommend the toasted tea cake. The staff here are fantastic and always go the extra mile to provide a special service.

My husband and I stopped off here on easter Sunday at 9.40am, I'm sure they weren't ready to open until 10 but the lady very kindly offered to make us a takeaway tea and some sandwiches. We did find it a little more expensive than what we usually pay but the sandwich was definitely worth it! We would highly recommend a stop off if you're passing.a

Firstly the food and staff here are fantastic. It's location is great for walks in the area. The 'but' is for the non-environmentally friendly use of polystyrene and plastic. Our food order was brought to our car and the staff were lovely and friendly. We had ordered sandwiches but didn't realise that they came with 'sides' which consist of salad, coleslaw and crisps. The sandwiches and sides were served in separate polystyrene boxes (4 polystyrene boxes) and then there was an additional plastic bag with environmentally friendly wooden forks and napkins. All that plastic! I wish you well in your venture but please could you serve the food in recyclable cardboard boxes or paper bags and put the fork and napkin in the box/bag. Personally I wasn't bothered about the side and would have preferred to pay less for the sandwich and given a choice about ordering the side separately.

For quite sometime now we have been visiting the Yurt at Everton a couple of times a week with our little dog, Harvey. He likes a freshly prepared sausage.The staff are friendly and courteous at all times. Coffee and tea is very good. The food is cooked and presented well and made from top quality produce.We particular like the relaxed atmosphere.

First time we have visited but it will not be the last. Really friendly staff, especially Keiron who paid a lot of attention to our dogs. Food was lovely and it was just a nice pleasant atmosphere.

Food was excellent, the drinks very reasonably priced and even better on the eat out scheme. Was very busy; so a little wait but absolutely no problem, the lady who served was extremely friendly and did something off menu for my little boy so we were really impressed!

We visited today , with a voucher from the purple voucher book . We had 2 latte and 2 teacakes. The young lad who served us was very pleasant he had a very upbeat personality. It nade such a refreshing change. The coffee was lavassa and was lovely. I will be visiting again . Maybe might sit in the yurt next time.

Took a group of friends to the Yurt for breakfast. The food was great and the sausages are amazing. Fabulous service from Susan and nothing was too much trouble. Great meeting place and great food what’s not to like 💕

Visited here after visiting another cafe close by that provided poor, unfriendly service. I was so glad I came...the food was absolutely delicious and good value for money. The staff were extremely helpful and were great with my little boy. I felt very safe as staff wore masks and gloves. What a special place.

Just called for takeout lunch for 5. Couldn’t fault it. Had 2 jackets with chilli and 3 paninis all absolutely delicious and still piping hot by the time we got home. Also bought 5 of Sonyas traybakes. Had my heart set on the pecan one but non left. But I wasn’t worried as they didn’t disappoint. The service was first class very very friendly and attentive staff and social distancing first class. I would thoroughly recommend. Well done all will certainly be back

We're close by and thought it time we called in for Brekky. Glad we did. Our breakfast sandwiches were fab washed down with plenty of tea. Our pint sized hound and resident banger expert rated her extra sausage 10/10! We'll surely be back to this unique , quirky place and you should too.

We popped in on the off chance for brunch this week and I’m so glad we did.The menu selection is varied....but I finally opted for avocado and poached eggs with salsa which was freshly prepared, presented beautifully and tasted delicious.The portion size is very generous but tasted so good that I ate it all!!

Went here today for the first time with family. Been many times to other venues owned by the vendor so had good expectations. We were served great food that was not only well prepared but also presented so well. Hot scampi salad was amazing!!The yurt was was really quirky with WiFi and toys for my 4 year old.Will definitely be back and strongly recommend if your in the area.

After seeing the Lavazza sign on the road i stopped in for a take-away coffee and cake. I got a really warm welcome from the two staff, and got great service. The lovely coffee, cake and welcome all help improve a days driving.

Came across this lovely place and stopped for brunch. The coffee was delicious strong and hot also the eggs were cooked to perfection too. I had eggs florentine. They were hot and runny. I devoured them. The yurt was funky with a kids book/play station. The only reason I give 9/10 instead of a 10 is due to the fact there was no tobacco/franks hot sauce which I love on my breakfast. The pepper I would have hoped for ground grind pepper instead of the powder I will be back. I loved it !

Me and my partner visited last week (12/01).We ordered a couple of hot drinks and food for us both, including something that wasn’t on the menu for my partner, and sat in the cosy yurt. Everything was so fresh and the food was really good. Spoke with the gent in the kitchen a couple of times, very pleasant fellow, and spoke about the craft beer they had available and was offered a taster of one of the new beers. Can not fault this place at all. For such a small venue, everything was organised really well and the young lad taking orders and bringing orders out was extremely polite. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Visiting family in the village from Australia and visited the Yurk a few times for breakfast. The food and the service were both fantastic, highly recommended

It's really hard to get poached eggs perfect BUT the ones with the eggs Burydict were absolutely perfect. Fantastic food, great coffee and great service... we will be back

Stopped for lunch on the way back from Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Polite and warm welcome from both ladies working there. Fab food and lots of choice. It was very tasty and plenty of it. Will definitely return.

Apologies on behalf of the delay writing this review, some technical issues occurred which postponed my opinion on the ‘yurt’. Firstly, I will begin to keep it short and simple by praising the location-very convenient for a stroll into Everton. A perfect place to relax after a lovely day out in the sun the Sunday that had just past. Myself and mother both had an egg, sausage and bacon bap fully to our standards with everything how we wished it to be whilst my 12 year old daughter had a portion of sweet potato fries, that I couldn’t spot nibbling at. The kind and considerate waitresses checked up once to make sure our food was to our standards and left us be to enjoy for the rest of our meal and was clear to see that they were always so determined to keep everything spotless. In addition to this, after we had finished, our plates were removed however our experience of ‘so good it yurts’ didn’t finish as we all had a long chat we didn’t know we need with the staff, they informed us about the pub and the cafe just down the road and how they have amazing cakes at the cafe and a lovely Sunday dinner at the pub. Taking on their advice we will be sure to return to all 3 of the businesses for definite !

Popped in today with my wife for a little snack. I must admit I was quite unsure at the fact that the chef was absent leaving two girls working behind the counter. However, we were pleasantly surprised when our food and drinks came out as they were perfect and we couldn’t spot any faults. My wife and I had a beautiful bap followed by the two of the homemade cakes. All I can say is I will be 100% returning and recommend it highly. The two young woman were so lovely and polite, they really couldn’t have been nicer. Such an asset to the business and we can definitely see it flourish in the near future as a result of the staff that worked today if they continue to work so hard. Thankyou very much for a lovely lunch.

10 of us called for lunch at So Good It Yurts. We all had different foods. They were all fresh and tasty and good quality and the service was excellent. Thanks for looking after us so well. I'm sure we will be back!

This place is great! We stopped for coffee and cake as we have family nearby in Everton. This is the second time we have been and both times we enjoyed the great quality coffee and homemade cakes. And maybe a beer! Very nice on a sunny day as there a a few tables outside.

Our recent visit for afternoon tea after a walk in Everton was a wonderful end to a lovely day. The staff very friendly and helpfully nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea was delicious with as much tea or coffee as we could drink. Will certainly return and would recommend it for a great unusual eating experience.

Just returned from a visit and were looked after in the most professional, friendly way by Mercy who was super attentive and really enthusiastic about giving all the customers there a first class service. Having seen an afternoon tea going past I will definitely be going again!! Excellent choice of food which all looked delicious and served with a big smile..

We’ve just been with our 3 children for lunch after a monster walk in Harwell woods. The food was exceptional, service faultless and classy from Mercy (who my children said they were so happy to have met) and we’ll be back without doubt.

Stopped here for lunch today. We ordered the panini's, which came with salad, coleslaw and crisps. They were delicious, and the salad was lovely and fresh. Followed by chocolate brownies,which were yummy! The cafe is in a lovely setting. The staff are friendly, chatty and attentive. Totally recommend this lovely little cafe.

I have visited the yurt multiple times and have never been disappointed. The wide selection of drinks (hot or cold) are perfect for this warmer weather we are having! I visited yesterday with my friend and dog and we were warmly welcomed. Nothing is ever too much for the lovely lady who works there. She even accommodated for my dog! Will certainly be returning!

Visited with friends after a walk in Harwell Woods on Barrow Hill. Friendly staff, good choice of food reasonably priced, we opted for cheese, cherry and fruit scones with latte, cappuccino and hot chocolate. All comments were favourable. Access for disability, car parking area, toilets. Would we call again? Most definitely!

Decided to drop in here rather than the teashops in Bawtry. What a great idea it was

I usually go ever Wednesday and Thursday. Amazing place just to pop in for a nice late made by Christine. Freshly made bacon and egg bap. And not bad prices. Very clean and tidy just a shame the weather wasn't too great. Would go again.

Absolutely lovely place to visit, friendly staff, especially the chef Christine, she makes a delicious panini! Highly recommended worth a visit or 3!

We have been here several times now and are always made to feel welcome.

Myself and my husband decided to call in here as we had driven past quite a few times. We found a table outside as it was a lovely day and it seemed to be busy. We decided to have drinks to begin with, we had to wait a while to be served and one member of staff even ignored us even though she could see us waiting and then proceeded to gave a moan to someone else about how busy she was! Eventually served and had our drinks. The outdoor seating arrangement isn't ideal as we were sat at the end right by a pile of rubbish bags covered in flies, we would've ordered food but also noticed a huge pile of dog poo right by us also covered in flies! Not what you want whilst you're eating, we finished our drinks and left. Such a shame as the food coming out did look lovely, just a couple of things spoilt it.

This place is a little gem, we often call in whilst walking the dogs, as it's so dog friendly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is freshly cooked and well presented. Their hot chocolates "with the works" are particularly delicious.

A great place for lunch. Excellent service, despite being very busy, panini was well presented with great ‘slaw and some very fine flavoured crisps. Their cups of tea are the best in the area.

Having driven by many times I decided to stop for a bite to eat and I'm glad I did. The staff were really friendly, relaxed atmosphere,the food was excellent and reasonable priced.

Been here today for lunch. Lovely food and coffee, topped off with an amazing piece of cake! Service was great and very accommodating for my 3 month old in his buggy.

For a tiny place, a decent selection of food & drink. Clean toilet, big parking area, an excellent find.

A lovely little coffee shop/small plate eaterie in the picturesque setting of Everton. The yurt is small but perfectly formed and the ladies who work here do an excellent job of making you feel welcome. There are toy baskets in the yurt which means visiting with a toddler is much easier.

My husband and I only stopped for a coffee but the sunny seating area just in front of a very welcoming bar soon changed that idea ! My husband thoroughly enjoyed trying the refreshing cold beers/ lagers. ( sadly I was driving ....... but well looked after by the staff !) With the " bar snacks " , atmosphere and lovely staff we felt like we were on holiday . After a couple of hours we left feeling very relaxed and happy. Top marks to so good it Yurts we can't wait to return.

Went in for half hour after taking the pooch for a walk with my son, has a quick refreshing drink enjoyed the atmosphere as they also welcome dogs so happy days..thank you as well to the quick and efficient staff. Megan and Claire they were chatty and what a find. Beautiful setting just off a little busy country road but what a find.

Ideal roadside stop off, friendly staff, prices on par for this sort of place, quite a busy main road though so not quiet.

Taken for Sunday breakfast by my daughter and what a find! Excellent food. Perfect poached eggs in no time at all! Attentive service is warm and friendly. A little gem of a place set in a yurt which would be easy to miss from the road. Will defintely come back when next in the area ladies!

Visited here with my wife the other day - the food and drink is amazing, although the location is small it has a lovely ambiance about the place. Can't wait to try it out again.

What a perfect place I've visited here with my family and I've been back alone,the staff are so welcoming and helpful serving great fresh food i would highly recommend it and will be returning.

I had passed this little spot several months previously when it was a Farm Shop. I discovered a few weeks ago that the property had been taken over by Simon & Sonya as an expansion of their Classic & Contemporary coffee shop and restaurant brand.

We visited with friends and family for breakfast on Sunday morning and everyone was impressed. The Yurt is unusual, warm and comfortable. What we loved the most was the staff asked how we all liked our bacon and even though there was 9 of us, each and everyone received the bacon as requested. The bread was soft, fresh and full of bacon. We all loved our visit and fully recommend the bacon buttie.

Had lunch yesterday at So Good it Yurts and can thoroughly recommend this little roadside cafe. Excellent coffee, one of the best paninis I've ever had and can't fault the service. This was my second visit and will definitely be going again when next in the Bawtry area.

I was fortunate in winning a competition for afternoon tea at So Good It Yurts. It was our first visit and wont be our last. Truly unique venue but what made it for us was the exceptional service along with the food and drink. If you are ever out Bawtry way forgot the high street head 5 mins down the road to the Yurt!! We will return with our daughter as she will love it!

Not your average baby shower but it was so good. Afternoon tea was perfect. Beautiful cakes and a really lovely cosy atmosphere. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us and were so good at no rushing us off. It was fab.

Usual prices for a take out coffee. Friendly staff and lovely yurt. One draw back is the seating is too comfy, so to sit for half an hour is more than enough time. Better seating would earn the 5 stars.

Came with my boyfriend for lunch and honestly, one of the best places I’ve been to lunch. Very accessible. Got something for everyone. Boyfriend had a sandwich with chips. I had the hot Brie salad. Gorgeous. And the lady that worked there was so lovely and couldn’t have had better service or food.

We called here as it's a Midway point between my parents in Lincolnshire and us in Yorkshire. It was the most amazing place to meet. So unique and unusual. Very large and accessible car park. Very friendly staff. The cake is out of this world. The pot of tea was huge , extremely good value for money . There were 6 of us all having a hot drink and a big wedge of cake and mince pies and the bill was only £25 ! At a national trust cafe you could expect to pay double that !!! The toilet is so clean and all brand new and they even had an amazing selection of alcoholic beverages ! Can't wait to visit again and try some of the hot food.

Took the dog out for a walk from Bawtry and ended up in Everton. Saw this place and thought I’d see if it was Dog friendly. I have to say the staff couldn’t do enough for me. Very friendly and polite. The dog was made welcome.

Beautiful and amazing.one thing we would all to see there is home made bread and milk for the local residents. That would be amazing. It such an amazing place to be in fantastic staff. I suggest everyone going there and trying it out.
