Went here on quick Saturday tea and breakfast round. Ended up spending much more time here, doing some work and brief reading. The place is nice, specious and busy. Good food and very nice staff. Highly recommend.

The detail of Lewis Carroll's Alice was amazing and we loved the murals and decoration from the chequered floor to the clocks and heart shaped everything it took me back to my childhood. The staff are lovely and really quick service and great food in taste and price. First visit but not the last.

Great service and good food. Sometimes gets busy in the summer as expected, always looks clean and staff are friendly.

Nice to have on our doorstep. Lovely interior and decor has been kept clean and well looked after. Eaten a few buffets here recently and not enough variety personally for me. However value for money and generous portions. Had some meals over the years and I would say the pizzas and burgers are the items to choose. Keep it up.

I am updating my review as some time has passed since my first post. They have done very well to bring up the quality of the place, the food is spot on and they now have a pool table. So of course this was my choice of place to celebrate my 40th birthday. I had people coming from all over the place to celebrate with me. I booked for ten but more people arrived than I thought. We had enough space to accommodate for all of the guests. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had an amazing unforgettable time, we played pool and I enjoyed the selection of non alcoholic beverages. Food was quickly prepared for those who ordered and I had a lot of happy faces around me. I should also mention that the music they now play really brings this place to life. A real difference to place it used to be.

This is one of the best pubs I have ever been at. We came here with friends and two kids. The kids were treated so lovely. The people working here are so nice. The food is great. Will come back here when we come to England next time.

I call in at least once a week with a friend for a coffee, the manager is always on hand, she’s a lovely lady and will do anything to help,the coffee is really nice, I’ve not sampled the food yet but I’ve seen what’s served up and I feel it won’t be long before I’m tucking in with family or friends, there’s an outside seating area and it’s spotless, I would recommend the kings way for any occasions

Popped in for some dinner from staying at the hotel across the road. Scampi, salad, jacket and pepper sauce was all lovely. The only reason it’s not a five star review is because the steak wasn’t a great cut - every mouth full I had to spit some of it out due to the gristle but that’s. It the chefs fault. Service was good and the meal was good value.

While visiting friends here, I suggested that we have a Chinese takeaway. This one is very close by were my friends live, we ordered a selection of dishes from the very comprehensive menu. And we certainly wasn't disappointed with the amount and the quality of the food. Would have given it 4.5 stars but had to give four stars. Certainly recommend this establishment and definitely use again next time we are visiting our friends. And good value for money .

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Duke. Food was on our table within minutes (party of 10), all cooked to perfection and plenty of it ! Can heartily recommend Thanks to everyone for a great afternoon Rich B.

I’m not usually much of a fan of pizza, my partner always has to talk me around but oh my goodness their pizzas and garlic bread are delicious!😍 the customer service is great too they’re really friendly and great with my little one.
