The best restaurants in East Midlands

We once again had a wonderful visit to the Bluebell Inn. We always book a garden room as one of our family is immunocompromised, and we feel much safer. We were very well looked after by the serving staff and the food was excellent as always. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great pub I come here nearly every Sunday. Can’t fault the place great beer, fantastic chip cob and very nice staff! Best ever Chilli loaded chips!!

We love this beefeater and actually prefer to travel here than to go to our local one. Aimee is always so helpful... service with a smile and a quick chat as are all the staff here. Food is always piping hot and presented so nicely in clean pleasant surroundings & cutlery always gleaming! (something I am particular about! )

Fast service depending how busy they are. you can eat inside or outside. good food very welcoming staff. parking is on the street or a small car park opposite chargeable.Toilets were very clean,all on the ground floor. open fire on a cold day, Well worth calling in.

The Tikka Masala was far too sweet for our taste and the Balti seemed bland

Great food! Mains were great around £20 each. Had a starter, not worth the cost but it still tasted delicious. I would definitely return while in Buxton.

Had a lovely time here. Some great staff, and some nice cocktails. The other patrons were also friendly so it was a good vibe.

I'm really glad there was a Costa in Ilkeston. And as usual it was lovely coffee.

We had a voucher for afternoon tea and ordered a take away. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh. The tray was impeccably laid out and had a varied choice of sandwiches, savoury pastries and cakes. Also we had a choice of scones to choose from. We settled on fruit and had a small pot of jam and a tub of cream. We even had some tea bags!! All in all it was wonderful and we will definitely be ordering a takeaway tea again. Well done to the staff and thank you.

We held our wedding at the White Hart Inn on Saturday 24 August 2024 and it was nothing short of wonderful. The day was perfect and absolutely seamless thanks to the wonderful staff at the venue. We would like to say a huge thank you to Katy our wedding planner, whose attention to detail, patience, knowledge and care was second to none. Katy expertly guided us through the intricate journey of wedding planning, answered all of our questions and was always super helpful. The wider staff team were also amazing and genuinely couldn't do enough for us. We would highly recommend this beautiful venue. Thank you so much - we will treasure the memories forever. We always go in here when visiting the father in law in his holiday hone, as per previous experiences we had another lovely meal today. Food was lovely and all mixed grills and steak were cooked perfectly and mine went down very well with my large white wine and lemonade! Amanda who served us was fab and made us feel very welcome and we had a little bit of banter with her - she's an asset to the place. Thank you. We'll be back again on our next visit to Skeg :)

Had a lovely meal today with the family. The food was very good and our waitress Becca went above and beyond in making sure everything was to our liking. On numerous occasions we have visited this waitress has been exceptional. The restaurant has always been very good and would recommend it to anyone.
