The best restaurants in East Midlands

Excellent food and service . We really enjoyed our meal on Saturday and the cocktails were excellent. The waiting on staff were friendly and attentive.

Me and two friends went for just some cake and coffee. I called up a day before to book a table on a Sunday and was told we didn’t need to book for just cakes. When we arrived we where told they only have people for roast dinner on Sundays and I explained about the phone call, so he sat us down about 20mins after we got our cake and coffee we where told we had to leave in 5 minutes as they had somebody coming in for the table we had to leave without finishing our drinks or cake and paid full price. This was absolutely disgusting behaviour and a waste of money

Met up for a family lunch, good food and service. There was plenty on the menu to please everyone and good size portions. We had to pre-order our food before we arrived which worked well and saved time.

the delivery driver is amazing! he has delivered to me a few times now and he is just so friendly and polite and always puts a smile on my face!

Had a lovely time here. Some great staff, and some nice cocktails. The other patrons were also friendly so it was a good vibe.

Just the best ! Food amazing ! Great atmosphere ! Wonderful Staff ! Our party of 8 people on what was probably one of the busiest Saturday nights in Dec and everything was as fab as always. Fascinating to see all the delicious food being cooked and coming out of what is definitely a well organised kitchen. The front of house staff lovely and looked after us all evening & great live music to end the night. This restaurant has it nailed and why we come back time after time !!!!!!

We always go in here when visiting the father in law in his holiday hone, as per previous experiences we had another lovely meal today. Food was lovely and all mixed grills and steak were cooked perfectly and mine went down very well with my large white wine and lemonade! Amanda who served us was fab and made us feel very welcome and we had a little bit of banter with her - she's an asset to the place. Thank you. We'll be back again on our next visit to Skeg :)

Lovely time as always we go every Wednesday for dinner/supper. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly, I had ordered a plain burger and wanted to double up with the patty but it came with bacon, a waitresses named Carole was so kind as to get my order right for me and the issue was resolved quickly. Definitely recommend its a very good place cater to your every need if you're fussy with food like me 😊, also great for family's looking for somewhere to go to eat for any occasion or meal time very spacious too. My #1 place to eat out.

Great food and drinks, would highly recommend the fish tacos and enchiladas! We experienced brilliant service by Rhia, she was very attentive thank you!

Booked a table for 2 asking for a quiet, cosy area. Shown to a table in the large orangery, when mentioned I was made to feel that I was in the wrong. Shown to a table in the study. Old dirty carpet and no view apart from the reception desk. In looking around every table for 2 is up against a wall. Service was professional but sadly missing the human touch. The food however was lovely. Good menu and all the food looked delicious. Wine list is disappointing for a restaurant. Would i go back, possibly but couldn’t see us having a long leisurely meal over a few drinks.

We have eaten at the restaurant and we have also had a takeaway and we have never been disappointed best Indian in Loughborough we always recommend them .

Lovely venue for a mid morning brunch, limited seating but such a pleasant cafe.

It’s a great shame they treated us this way, there was 4 of us, we spent over £60 on food & drinks, yet we were asked to vacate the cafe prior to finishing our 2nd drinks so to give our table to others 🤷‍♂️ If we were sitting there just chatting, I could have partly accepted it, but we weren’t, we had a mixture of enjoyable breakfasts, immediately after eating got a 2nd round of drinks, and not long returned to our table, and they asked us to leave to make room for another party🤷‍♂️ disgusting behaviour, should have got other party to sit across 2 tables, shocking management. Will no longer be using or recommending 👎👎👎

Just read Exotic has closed down! Omg im so gutted about this! It was my only take away! The best! I understand the reasons for this, but this is such bad news for kettering. Thank you for all the delicious food and exceptional customer service that you have provided over all these years! Such sad news. Wishing you all the best in whatever you move onto.
