The best restaurants in England

A warm welcoming hug of a cafe! Food is delicious, fresh and homemade. Staff very friendly but discrete, checks you’re ok but don’t keep bothering you. A good place to relax with friends and to eat well. I dine in and takeaway.

Visited with a friend and was instantly thrown down nostalgia lane. Having afternoon high tea nestled in-between the antiques was exactly what we had pictured. The food was tasty and the staff were warm and welcoming, I would definitely recommend.

It's a pity that this, once favourite, place to eat has resorted to scamming its customers. The business has ceased trading. Yet you can still place an order from the website, pay for it (funny that 🤔) and then have it's status immediately change to 'closed' upon receipt of your money. The telephone number for Kimono just rings out and the new sushi business trading from the exact same address uses ignorance to bypass what is obviously an incredibly underhand way of taking funds from unsuspecting patrons. Its fraudulent. No confirmation email. No food. No way of contacting anyone from either business. I would avoid HiTokyo, the 'new' restaurant too, that's based on my experience of trying to resolve the issue. Just dreadful. Zero stars.

Very nice welcome and service, delicious food and great coffee. Highly recommended we had toasties and a prawn baguette and were really glad we stopped off

The full breakfast was fantastic and the other half loved her omelette staff friendly and helpful nice environment will be back

Extremely noisy to live behind , weekends the volume is very loud. Also beer garden often has rowdy guest screaming and shouting

Anyone know if this will reopen?

Costa is my favourite coffee shop chain, and we visit quite often. The cafe is situated within Next in a very small retail park. It's on the upper floor, but there is a lift. Service is never the fastest at Costa as the coffee is always made to order: good coffee isn't instant. However, some customers are a pain. One girl sat with her feet on the chair. Another customer complained to the staff who basically shrugged. They then complained directly to the girl who told her where to go. One of the staff then talked to the girl with her shoes on the chair, and they poured scorn on the customer that had by then left. Not what you expect.

Very good price n everything single dish very good taste

Arrived for our 2.30 booking to find a sign - closed due to fire? Why are you taking bookings? We booked the day off work today..... Very disappointed. I have just received a a feedback from via email asking how it went today?
