The best restaurants in England

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shish Legends, and I must say, their Turkish shish is simply outstanding! The lamb ribs are a must-try, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I also highly recommend the Adana; it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. What truly sets Shish Legends apart is the staff. They are incredibly helpful and generous, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're a fan of Turkish cuisine, this place is definitely a gem!

Went for breakfast as non residents. Quality of food was excellent, staff were friendly and environment was very pleasant. If I had one criticism it would be the coffee, it tasted fine but was lukewarm and my flat white was more akin to a latte.

We went a great meal here . The food was tasty and well presented . It was let down as no body came to ask if our meal was ok and had to look for someone to pay the bill .

Called on way back from shopping in nearby bury on a cold damp friday afternoon ( late lunch ,) we were not disappointed. The ambiance,and freindly staff were above and beyond. Food was very good and the pumpkin soup on another level. The place is beutiful inside and much bigger than it looks from outside . Menu was vast but sensible and prices in our opinion very fair Fresh food , well presented, Cant wait to go back.£42,for 2,with drinks main courses and desserts.

Always love going for dinner here. Service is attentive, food delicious and they have a great range of options (including delicious vegetarian ones!). Most recently the team here kindly accommodated a last minute booking for our large group when our Christmas party plans were cancelled, Zeera really saved the day for us and we had a fantastic time!

Lovely lunch, Soup, cake and flat white coffee ☕ Very nice atmosphere and view. Reasonably priced and fresh made food.

Lovely fish and chips, far from shy with portions at a great value, smashing customer service.

A 15 minute wait for a takeaway coffee is ridiculous. Not worth missing my train for, no matter how good the coffee is.

What a wonderful little gem , superb food wonderful staff you genuinely can’t ask for better . The best roast beef I’ve ever had cooked to perfection with love.

While exploring St. Ives Harbour, after a Googling for sea food place, we stumbled upon a hidden gem: Porthminster Kitchen. This charming restaurant, though not immediately noticeable, offers a delightful culinary experience. The restaurant's interior is modern with a beautiful designed old wood frammed fireplace that creates a relaxed dining atmosphere. However, the entrance to the second floor dining area could be better marked to attract more guests. Food: The menu at Porthminster Kitchen features a creative and diverse selection of dishes. We started with the Korean Fried Cauliflower and a custom salad, both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For our mains, we had the Roasted Hake Fillet and the Whole Cornish Sole, which were cooked to perfection and showcased the freshness of the ingredients. To finish, the Crispy Rice Pudin with Coconut Sorbet was a delightful and refreshing dessert, particularly appealing to vegan and gluten-free diners. Service: The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations based on our preferences. Hemos visitado todos los lugares de Goodmans en numerosas ocasiones. Nos sentimos decepcionados de nuevo con nuestra reciente visita a Canary Wharf. Antes de publicar aquí intenté enviar un correo electrónico a Goodmans con mis preocupaciones, pero se recuperó. Al llegar notamos que el restaurante era generalmente tranquilo. La mitad del edificio estaba en la oscuridad. Fuimos bien recibidos a su llegada y nos mostraron nuestra mesa. , La zona de estar estaba en mal estado. Las cubiertas de los asientos estaban rasgadas, abiertas y antihigiénicas. El estado general del restaurante era de mala muerte, cansado, poco querido y una decepción. Nuestro servidor era increíble, así como la comida. Mencionamos a nuestro servidor el estado de la zona de estar y ella trató de conseguir que el gerente venga a vernos. Tristemente el pesebre no estaba interesado en nuestras opiniones Entendemos que la cena en Londres es costosa, pero esperamos un ambiente limpio, bien cuidado y querido cuando se gasta más de £ 250 para la cena.

I had heard good things about this chip shop, looked on line and good reviews. We ordered haddock, chips and fish twice, a pot of curry sauce and a pea fritter. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. The fish was bland, it tasted of nothing and the batter a bit thick and soggy. The peas were OK to be fair& the pea fritter too greasy. However, the chips were a disaster, undercooked (to the point that I could crunch some of them!) and pale. The curry sauce is that sweet very mild tasting stuff. It also took the girl ages to wrap it up to the point of thinking has she been trained. The other staff didn't offer to help and were not busy. 1/5 is a fair score. Loads of food uneaten it was that poor and £23 worse off.

I enjoyed eating here, the restaurant offers a great dining experience. I was served by one of the staff named Mahdin, his service was excellent the way he ensured through out our meal that we were having a good time was remarkable.
