The best restaurants in United Kingdom

This came recommended by friends (we seem to have missed it repeatedly!) and it opens on a Sunday (yeeha) - modern, warm and inviting place just opposite the Council Offices (and next to the Smokehouse) - we were there early for brunch - it was busy but not crowded - great food and coffee menu and helpful staff. Food was rapid and excellent quality. Loved it

This was the first time we'd been to Bird and Bee and it definitely won't be our last. Myself, husband and 5 year old little girl all loved it. Service was excellent, didn't have to wait long for the food and very clean. We ordered the steak and eggs, Turkish eggs and bacon on toast. So tasty and reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend 👌 👍

This is my favourite pizza place. The hey zhoug is the best pizza I have ever had and I love pizzas, especially as a vegan, hey zhoug has the best flavour combinations. My friends had different pizzas and equally loved them. Thank you pizza jockeys!

We came to The Swoop for a cocktail masterclass. Fiona was amazing, a real laugh and her cocktails were so good. You could tell she had a real passion for what she did and we learnt so much as well as had a good time. Miles was also superb and did some more cocktails for us after. The fact everything was locally sourced was even better. I ended up buying everything to make one of Fiona's signature creations. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend a class at The Swoop, or if you want some local alcohol as a gift or for yourself, you must check the shop out

Dine in | £1–10 Great service with a friendly welcome. When asked if cakes were suitable for vegetarians he made sure by checking the ingredients. Vegan and vegetarian cakes kept separate in clear display cases. Great choice of coffees, served piping hot, shame to be served in paper cups but delicious nevertheless. Cakes were a rich, luscious delight. Would have liked plates, serviettes and a fork for the cakes instead of a paper bag. Will definitely be visiting again.

This place has a lot of my memories from when I first came to the UK from India. We would go here for lunch and they made the most delicious rolls.

Lan did the cake for my mum’s 60’s birthday party and it was honestly the best cake ever. Spot on communication from start to finish, huge range of flavours to choose from and Lan is so flexible with design ideas - I gave her a few design ideas and mostly left her to it and she came up with an absolute masterpiece. It was absolutely delicious and a real centrepiece/talking point of the party. I’d recommend Lan to anyone and hope to need her cake services in the future. Thank you Lan x (Please note in photo attached, this photo was taken AFTER the event and the imperfections were entirely on us - the cake when collected was absolutely perfect!)

Had our first Sunday Lunch here. T/A plentiful loads of beef and veg, lovely gravy too! A winner. You must try it!

Best place to eat authentic Indian food in Dartford

Amazing food and great presentation and quality. You can tell they're passionate about cooking and when you usually go to India it's like a taste from home. Love the family and everything about it 💗💗💗

You just need to try it once, then you will be a regular trust me. Good quality food and friendly staff.

Cairo was so accommodating to us, let us dance the night away in the cosy restaurant! The food was lovely topped off by great service! :)
