We’ve been traveling all over Scotland, started in Glasgow and went to Oban and then Portree. I wasn’t expecting Inverness to be one of my favorites, but it is the cutest urban city that’s also quiet despite having a lot going on. This hotel was one of my favorites as well, so put together, making you feel very special. It feels like home while also being a very nice hotel with great rooms. Located just a few minutes off the main river walk made it easy to walk around. I’d definitely come back here.
The drizzle cafe is great the service is quick food was great and atmosphere was nice the staff is lovely and I personally think it’s the best cafe I been to yet 10/10 recommend it
I visited Little Channels to try their valentines afternoon tea and was definitely not disappointed. A really affordable treat at only £25 per person (£5pp deposit required when booking). We were served an extensive selection of savouries which included a quiche, sausage roll, and sandwiches of coronation chicken, ham & cheese, and tuna & cucumber. The chicken one was served in focaccia bread which made a nice difference to traditional finger sandwiches that you usually get with afternoon tea. The scones were huge and warm so a good sign of being freshly baked! The sweet treats included a mini Victoria sponge cake, a heart shaped chocolate brownie and a chocolate covered strawberry. I feel like that was the perfect amount without getting too full. I feel like this was spot on for the money and both quality and quantity of food. The service was also the perfect mix of attentiveness and friendliness. Would recommend.
My mother in law is 91. She was a founding member of Harry's bar, paying £100 per annum. Last year, for her 90th birthday, they put up her membership to £750. This year, they told her that she could no longer be a member because of a long waiting list and because she was late in renewing due to a fall that lead to a hip replacement. This isn't a way to treat a wheelchair bound, long serving member. It all comes across as intentional.
And they haven't even bothered replying, which says it all.
We loved it..the beef brisket was amazing as was the pork dish...ranks very high as my all time favourite sunday lunch..can't be faulted in all area's.
I go to this store periodically for the selection of organic produce that they offer, every time I am very pleased!
Everything on the shelves is very well organized and you can find anything you need.
All sold brands have very well environmental pledges.
Plenty of vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free ready to eat snacks/meals are offered as well.
I also liked the fact that they sell loose spices and you can weigh them before buying :)
Very good kombucha and natural soft/fizzy drink selection.
Fresh pastry/cakes are served as well as a nice takeaway treat!
Enjoy a few snapshots taken today. ☺️
