Roosters Piri Piri in Camden

So I went there today on my lunch break. The only reason was I seen that they were advertising a lunch time deal £4.99 for chicken strips in reality it was a small piece of chicken grilled with a box of rice and a can of drink. I went the Coca Cola. I ordered my food and waited patiently it took almost 20+ minutes for me to get my order. Now when I say 20 minutes I was being kind. And the food was say okay let’s start with the rice very dry and taste nothing to write home about. The chicken was quite nice but a little over done. The one thing is I can say that I personally won’t be going back. The guy cooking the chicken was literally stuffing his mouth full of chicken whilst cooking with the other hand. That’s a no no for me. I do understand that the poor guy was probably run off his feet, still the cook can’t be seen eating and cooking in full view of the public who must have seen him as well because the kitchen was directly behind the counter. If these fast food restaurants are going to compete for customers then they should learn some basic business adequate. I leave it there….

This is the best Grilled chicken I've ever tasted absolutely sensational there chicken is so tender and juicy with mouth watering sauces definitely a 10/10 coming again soon

The Piri Piri chicken here is next level! Perfectly grilled with just the right amount of spice. The peri fries were also crispy and full of flavor. I also had the mixed salad with fresh chicken strips, topped with a lemon and harissa sauce — it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. Highly recommended!

I'm not one for overstatements, so please take the following sentence as fact, not hyperbole... ... this is the best grilled chicken I've ever eaten, anywhere. Sensational! I visited one night after a few drinks in nearby Blues Kitchen. I ordering the lemon/herb half chicken. As I sat in the booth waiting longer than is usual for a fast food restaurant, I was hopeful that my wait was for good reason, and good lord, it was. The food was piping hot (a pet peeve of mine is lukewarm food), beautifully presented, exceptionally seasoned and perfectly cooked. The chicken blew my mind. Succulent, tender, juicy & flavoursome. The chips deserve special mention too — hot, fresh and crisp. Glorious! I was so impressed with my meal that I had a long chat with the staff afterwards. They were very informative, friendly and grateful for my gushing praise. Go. Immediately.

Hi, I'm a regular at Roosters Piri Piri at Canden mainly because I work long hours at the hospital and it's an ambience I like But an incident happened that I didn't find funny, now when I eat at Roosters, I usually dine in and honestly I have loved it so far, sometimes because of the nature of my job, when i cannot finish my meal i ask for a polythene bag or take away to put away my food so i can have them later . I walked in today expecting to have my meal as usual and after paying i saw one of the servers mutter some words to the person taking my order I waited for my order to be announced so I can get my food but instead what I had was my order packed in a takeaway for me to take to my seat and eat. When I asked why because I never do takeaways but eat in, I was told in a very denigrating tone and manner that because I waste thier plates and end up packing 1 or 2 chicken so there was no need to serve me with the plates. This i found very ridiculous and condescending because all he had to do was tell me if I had anything to pack then hel have to charge me for it and it will be my decision to proceed or not. I felt really embarrassed and humiliated and left the food after paying because I knew if I stayed there I would have caused a scene Please teach your servers to do better and act better

Just tried the chicken wings.The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside. The sauce options were unique and flavorful, especially the medium which had just the right kick of spice and sweetness.Staff was friendly and attentive making our dining experience even better.

Sorry guys for thumbs down on the food. When compared to the Kilburn branch there are several things that can get better. First of all Kilburn serves a proper chicken breast in the sandwiches. Not chopped up chicken which just does not taste nearly as good. The Lebanese sauce is also different to what you use and tastes better.

I recently visited Roosters Piri Piri, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. After placing my order using the machine, I had to wait for a staggering 25 minutes before any food was served. To make matters worse, when my order finally arrived, it was incomplete. It was evident that they had not read the ticket properly. I had specifically requested an extra hot wrap and wanted a milkshake to accompany it. Despite my repeated requests, they initially neglected to make the milkshake. After pleading with them, they finally prepared it, but it was far from the best quality. Considering the long wait time, the incorrect order, and the subpar milkshake, I wouldn't recommend dining at Roosters Piri Piri. My experience was unsatisfactory, and I won't be returning in the future.

It was a wonderful experience to have succulent full of flavour tender yet not over cooked chicken, also the lamb burger was so flavoursome and a real 10/10 I highly recommend this delicious food, especially after the change of ownership and management about a month ago.

I go here nearly every day for my evening break which ends up doubling up as my dinner and I've never been let down by them yet. The food is always full of flavour even though I'm a bit of a wimp and only opt for lemon and herb, they give you a massively generous amount of peri salt, 3 big chicken wings and chips and drink for a fiver ! And on top of that they are friendly and efficient, the owner always takes time to have a little chat with me and it's lovely seeing them grow as a business, I wish I could give them 10 stars. Roosters Piri Piri has the best piri piri chicken a restaurant can offer. It beats Nando's by miles. I came here with friends to get dinner and it was not only quick and easy, but the staff (special thanks to Shojib and Melad) are very friendly and kind. They had gotten the flavours on my order mixed up and they kindly remade the meal for me and also let me keep the previous meal. This was honestly one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. If you're craving some good chicken and a nice vibe then definitely come here. Don't worry, I'm not an AI or anything. A real person with good taste wrote this.

Order from Uber eats, the quality of the food is gone horribly wrong, before you used to get a big portion of rice now you get a mini kids portion in a small plastic container not even enough for a child. The wings was burnt. What a shame it was actually a good place.

I ordered off Deliveroo for lunch. To say i was disappointed is an understatement. The chicken burger was so dry, there was no sauce either, the bread was too toasted. The chicken tasted old and had a weird taste to it like it was not fresh. Honestly i gagged it was despicable. The chicken strips had more sauce but as i tried one it had the same off-taste as the burger so i threw everything in the bin. The only thing edible were the chips.
