¡Qué noche tuvimos el viernes 13 de diciembre de 2024! La mejor cena de todos los tiempos con el anfitrión / restaurador más fabuloso Jamal! Estamos en una cruzada para probar toda la cocina del mundo en Londres, así que Argelia fue el tercer país en la lista y así es como aterrizamos en la premiada Khamsa en una fría noche gris oscuro para ser transportados a las delicias de Argelia! Nuestro anfitrión Jamal nos dio la bienvenida e inmediatamente nos sentimos como en casa. Él se burló de nosotros con sus sugerencias que nos enamoraron y nos permitió nuestro té de menta al principio de nuestra comida (se supone que lo tiene que tener al final de su comida! ). El plato de ensalada 7 y el pan casero era para morirse! No tuvimos tiempo para fotos ya que estábamos salivando todos los sabores diferentes que eran deliciosos y de buen gusto. El pastel de salmón filo era picante, las albóndigas deliciosas y el cordero suave y tierno. Entonces los postres estaban tan buenos que nos lamíamos los dedos. Lo mejor de todo fue la hospitalidad! ¡Jamal tiene un sentido del humor malvado y nos tenía en puntadas! Nos lo pasamos tan bien y para colmo Jamal tocó "ladies night by kool& the gang" cuando escuchó a una de nosotras cantándola y antes de darnos cuenta estábamos en la pista bailando y cantando! Tuvimos la mejor experiencia de cenar! Jamal, vamos a volver con todo el séquito y nuestra búsqueda para probar la cocina del mundo puede tomar un poco más de tiempo! La comida es muy recomendable y el restaurante es un testimonio de nuestro maravilloso anfitrión Jamal!

Magnificent North African restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and professional and the food was just wonderful. I can confirm it’s a true traditional North African restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food, horrible atmosphere. All the food was incredibly flavoursome, with high quality ingredients and brilliant execution on the cooking. A lot of it was also rather interesting too, so it’s definitely a twist on standard North African cuisine (for one, I don’t believe they’d eat much pork…). Cheesecake dessert with actual stringy melted cheese in the middle was amazing. However, the atmosphere was just awful! The bar stools (no table seating available) were very uncomfortable in and of themselves, but they were also positioned way too close to the bar, leaving little legroom. Music was way, way too loud, making conversation nearly impossible. The door also weirdly spring open making it rather cold. Service was good, and prices were rather high.

We ordered Shiaa and kisra with bamiya And it slapped!! They also got nice Basta

The food was spectacular and the service was above and beyond as always! I would definitely recommend eating here whether it’s with family, friends or solo, they always treat customers so well.

Qué velada tan exquisita. Cubos de carne en abundancia Los chiles rellenos, que se saldrán de la norma en este estilo de comida Tej que es muy fuerte y listo se me subió a la cabeza como lo hizo mi compañero de 23 años Fuimos por la versión etíope de filete crudo estilo francés con un toque etíope y patio de descanso. Solo estaba en el camino y por eso voy a regresar regularmente al final de la historia.

Disfrutamos cada minuto allí. Amable, buenos servicios al cliente, buena comida africana y la música era fantástica. Buen aparcamiento disponible

Hi , This restaurant and its prices are well over rated. The food wasn't pleasant very oily and noticing the hygiene wasn't good either . The food doesn't have the acquired African, Kenyan taste and to top it the price list is ridiculous, I mean half a makate mayayi is now £7.90 and it tastes like the taste of Gujrat. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant as its well over rated.

I visited this restaurant on 27/04/2025. The decor and furniture was very nice and cosy. The place looks really well maintained and you can feel a real conscious effort has been made to give the restaurant a authentic African experience. We ordered the special on the menu, which was lamb stripes on a brioche role with chips. And we ordered jollof rice. The food was delicious and the lamb was cooked really nicely. The jollof rice was nice and spicy and we were offered a variety of sauces. Also, the mocktails were very good Overall, the service was excellent and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was good and at very decent prices so definitely worth a visit.

Great customer service shown from waitress Kiran, very welcoming towards my family and I, also good luck to Subhaan on his first day! Finally a big shout to the chef Shayan for cooking such a great meal :)
