We were in old Southall on a sunny Sunday afternoon and noticed this place. Its cosy and intimate. We placed an order a mixture of kebabs, samosa and tea. The food was good although the waiter got the order wrong it was corrected. Overall a nice afternoon.

Went for dinner with a friend, ordered samosas,2x Quarter Chicken, 1 Muskaki and 1 passion,2xNaans CHICKEN ABSOLUTELY tasteless, Muskaki too CHEWY the whole evening was a disaster and cost£37.5 I can't see myself going again

Drinks where very bad taste. Keeba roll was not enough salad or keeba Not very happy this time always liked there food don’t think will order again.

I went to Nargis last week with the family, we were looking for something nice and local and we stumbled upon the place. Everything was lovely!!! Wil be coming again !

The meat tasted stale and re-heated. Far too much colour used in chicken marinade. Meat and chicken terribly chewy and hard

One of the best kebab/chicken tikka rolls we've ever had. Highly recommend the bafu chicken, extremely tasty. The naans for the rolls were the best naans we've had for sure

Come to this place often. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. The food is east African, if you are from kenya or have visited then you will be transported back there as it is so authentic. My favourite has to be the chicken tikka and the lamb chops. Another favourite is the masala chips, they are out of this world! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the whole place has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The owner is lovely and helpful, i will always be coming back here when I am in town!

Bývali sme niekoľko týždňov v Southall a keďže všade naokolo samá India, táto východoafrická reštaurácia nás veľmi potešila. Boli sme tu viackrát na večeru a jedlo bolo vždy výborné, pán majiteľ veľmi milý a ochotný. Keby som sa do Southall vrátil, tak sa tam určite zastavím.

Something different to try. Food is tasty and service is good. A friendly atmosphere. Decor is the Kenyan vibe.

The opening times on the website do not reflect the actual opening hours. They open at 5.30pm Cafelike atmosphere. Clean and excellent service. Good freshly cooked. Mostly E African bases. Took us down memory lane. Definitely recommend it. Going back when possible

We have as family driven past this place a number of times but never actually made a point of eating in as a family. Nice decor, small but not cramped. Menu is not the usual “Indian” selection, that’s because it’s a fusion of India and Kenya.....less spice & more focused on the grill. If your looking for a dish to write home about I’m afraid your page is going to be a lot of white space. The grilled chicken is nice and ticks the box and the curries are rather basic in flavor. The food fills the home and by the time you on your way it’s soon forgotten as the flavours are not memorable. Over all good simple basic food. Not sure if I would be rushing back. The waiter seemed to be in world of his own, maybe it was his first day. Food is a little pricey for what it actually is but understandable for where it is. You can’t win them all. They also dint have what was advertised in the menu, disappointing.

Ordered the mixed grill which can easily feed 5 people. The falooda was really yummy as was the mahamri and Barazi. The jug of passion juice was nice but a bit expensive in my opinion at 18£ a jug. Atmosphere was very nice and the server very attentive. Paan was gorgeous and we left with the left overs that we are for 2 days after there was Th at much food. Will be back again.

In a way the best curry I've ever had in Britain, could have eaten the pilau rice on it's own. The (inexpensive) speciality main had wonderful subtle flavours and the Tarka Dhal was smoky with a fantastic aftertaste. All for £12.65 delivered. Amazing..

Best lamb samosas, best Friday biryani. Its as good as home cooked food. Not forgetting the other mandazi or Ugali. Service is always with smile and cooperative staff and the boss himself Ebrahim. I always give them a call for my orders and pick the food freshly prepared. Chakula ni tamu sana (delicious food).

Food is always brilliant, however the lady that delivered the food was very very rude you definitely need to sort that issue out as we are spending money with you and I don't want to be spoken to rudely!!!

Food was a bit disappointing from the last time I ordered from here.... very oily and salty. The lassi tasted like it was watered down and had so much salt in it! The chickpeas were horrible... a sad outcome

As above the food is amazing from a restaurant that first stated in Kenya. Sadly after renovation work it is now more of a takeaway & not worth going to unless you live locally. A bad decision to remove the restaurant!

Just the best Tandoori Chicken and Kebabs .Never ever disappointed so very consistent and just excellent. The Nan breads compliment the grills very well.

If you are looking for ethnic food that has its origins in Kenya, with heavy Arabian and Indian influences, this is the place to go to. Not stylish but nice, friendly service and very tasty food

My family and I tucked into a delicious, low-price dinner at Nargis the other night: wonderful zesty chicken tikka, spicy lamb (and plenty of it) flavoursome chickpea curry, plus a huge freshly made naan (enough for three), rice, starters (delicately flavoured samosas and tasty little lentil cakes) and desserts too. The bill was less than £14 per head, which is really good value. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid-back, with smiley, friendly service. Very impressed, well-fed diner!

My family have been visiting Nargis for a number of years and have always found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. This food is absolutely delicious and between us we have tried virtually everything on the menu. The menu and restaurant itself are small but the menu does not need to be extensive as there is enough choice and all the food is cooked to perfection. The prices might appear expensive but the portion size is brilliant and the food always tastes amazing. A must visit if in Southall and you are looking for some authentic food.

The food is great atmosphere is great too but the down side id the service takes toooooooo long. If they improve on service they will receive full marks on all counts.

I went there several times to eat there so delicious special East Africa cost food like mbaazi Mahamriiiiii grilled meat nyama choma in swahili ugali and so many the small but the there making its so delicious

I have been coming here on and off for a few years now having been introduced to their menu through a friend.They have some of the best food I have tasted in Southall and everytime I eat in this place I wander why everyone I speak to has never been there!If you are in the area try it out, their chooza is something special.

Went to this restaurant after a very long time and was hoping thefood would be as good as I remembered. Was not dissapointed. For starter had the lamb samosas. To describe them as the best samosas eaten in a restaurant is an exaggeration. To go with this, we had the spicy mogo (which everyone else seemed to order). For mains, we had the mixed grill and BBQ baby chicken. As for afters, you just have to try the 'special faluda'. All in all, a very enjoyable eating experience. Try it and you won't regret it.

Go on a weekend for the mandhazi and bharazi. Love it! It's service with a smile and best samosa's around! We even buy them frozen as that's all my family like now.
