Maeme in Portsmouth

The food was spectacular and the service was above and beyond as always! I would definitely recommend eating here whether it’s with family, friends or solo, they always treat customers so well.

Pre-football food. Freshly cooked food, polite service, good value. Good to be able to eat there too. What’s not to like!

Probably the best burger I've ever had?? It was lamb and all for £5 with a drink! I was on the hunt for pulled pork burger but no one really did it apart from one chain charging £10 I looked around and thought I'd stick to a budget. I'm shocked when I bit into the burger, this was better than restaurant quality, the bread was soft and fluffy, tasty and the burger was moist it had cheese inside, but the salad was amazingly fresh you could taste the tomatoes and cucumbers. Wish they would've out more chilli sauce in there though Can't say the same about fries, they were hard so you might want to change supplier like effes chips. Overall that burger was a winner and filled me up, much healthier than a Macdonald!! 4.5/5

Terrible customer services. Find the man with a tash very rude when he serves. The shop have a card machine so you can pay by card but he says that they get charged by the bank and tell you to get cash out. But the cash machines around charge you £2 extra. Why bother having a card machine at the shop!!!!! They are using the franchise Maemes just for the name as the prices are way different than the original maemes website. The closing times are all different as on google it says 1am He refused to serve us at 10pm on Sunday because they were closing but on the site it says 1am There was bottle of sauces on display where it looked out of date. I have found this guy very rude who works at the front with no good customer services.
