The best restaurants serving Vietnamese food in Scotland

Lots of vegan options on the menu. Very hearty and filling. One of the best vegan meals I have had in Edinburgh! German Version: Das "Sen Viet Vegan Restaurant" hat eine große Auswahl an veganen Speisen. Mein Gericht war sehr herzhaft, geschmackvoll und absolut befriedigend. Tatsächlich das beste vegane Essen in ganz Edinburgh!

If there is a finer sandwich out there I have yet to meet it. Really fresh ingredients and authentic Vietnamese tastes.

Was highly recommended.....was worried when I waited outside....second I smelt the food those worries vanished. Easily the best Vietnamese food iv eaten....probably up there with my best meal ever in Glasgow

Absolute gem of a place, food was delicious and service friendly and helpful. Had spring rolls, fish cakes and squid to start and curry and hot dishes for main. Very flavourful!

Staff were lovely and service was prompt but the food was very disappointing. We all agreed the dishes were tasteless and, in the case of the street food option and salad with chicken and spring rolls, very dry. The dipping sauce was bland. The salad comprised some shredded cabbage with a few stands of carrot and a frond of coriander. The shaking beef was marginally better but not very exciting. Prices are excessive and when we did some investigation we found much cheaper restaurants. On a positive note, portions were generous. P

We got recommended this restaurant by some friends and We are so glad we took their advice. Amazing Food, nice atmosphere. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Glasgow.

Had the Sunday fish soup, it was very tasty and seemed to be endless! Summer rolls were great too! Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu!

We decided we fancied going out for some food but wanted something a little healthier than the usual Sunday carvery My middle child(adult) had yet to experience hello Vietnam the other two have been here before Portions as always were massive and none of us managed to finish and ended up with a doggy bag that will do me tomorrow :) I stuck to my favourite spicy seafood vermicelli Food was served piping hot and the staff were polite and quick with the service Everyone enjoyed their food and we will be back

Stopped here our first day in town and will definitely go again! It's a charming little spot with clever decor and THEY PLAY VINYL! oh, yes - the food was plentiful, fresh, and exceptionally tasty. We had two vegan and one non-vegan choices and the flavour and value were spot on. My husband says 'try the lemon iced tea,' too.

Lovely, simple, tasty food. I had dinner before catching a train at Haymarket. It was quiet and the service was good, and it felt like a quiet and relaxing place. My stir-fry was tasty. Very happy.

Ordered on Christmas Eve from Saigon Restaurant, to collect. Arrived at the specified collection time and the restaurant was closed down, in darkness. Phone number had been disconnected. I have been trying since to get a refund from Just Eat but all they say is “take it up with the restaurant” as it was an order for collection. I explained that the restaurant no longer exists, but they don’t want to know. Seriously disappointing

I got a delivery of a special fish supper on thursday 11 August which was disgusting. The fish had a very strong Ammonia smell and taste from it. I had to through the full supper in the bin. I could not stomach the chips after the rotten fish. I am usually a very good customer but kinda been put off now.

I used to come here once a week when the last owner had the business , I came to the shop for my supper on Monday night , the staff didn’t seem to know what was going on , and seemed like they didn’t want to be there I had a simple order but still got asked 4 times what I had ordered got my food and wasn’t impressed with it at all ! Not up to the standard it used to be ! Will not be returning

Order was wrong. My colleges food was OK. My dish never showed up. When asked told sorry we don't have enough food. If your hungry avoid save your money.
