First time I've been to this place. And first time in a proper Spanish restaurant. The food was amazing, well cooked, and presented. My wife and I dined here for our 1st wedding anniversary, and we both went away thoroughly satisfied and full. The staff were very helpful, professional, and courteous. Loved the atmosphere as well, and was a very clean and fresh look. I would definitely recommend it.

I visited The Cedar Tree with my family for a special birthday and was blown away by what an incredible gem this place is! There’s a lovely cosy feel to the whole place. The food was lovely and while we all had different starters and mains, I lucked out by ordering the Salt and pepper calamari which was just awesome. The hangin danglin skewers were also amazing. Whilst the restaurant was quite busy (first Sunday of spring) I couldn’t fault the staff. Our server was so friendly and efficient and yet unobtrusive. Just the right balance. For the price paid, this has to be one of the best value for money meals we have had in a long time. Overall, delighted to have discovered this gem of a place and we will be returning again for sure.

Went to La Mancha tonight for our 10 year anniversary and I was expecting good things, sadly we left very disappointed, the food was terrible and sadly the service even worse, we were sat in a corner and basically just left all night, there was interest from the servers at all other than bringing us our drinks at the beginning of the night and our food, they didn’t come over once after that, when the food came all I can say is just wow!! We ordered garlic bread that looked like it was the £1 frozen baguettes from Lidl that had been thrown against the wall a few times and then put on plate, the beef strips were basically just beef strips in tasteless gravy, no flavour what so ever, I ordered some kind of chicken in garlic but it was the weirdest taste, I couldn’t understand what it was trying to be, the onion rings were actually good but really greasy, the potato’s bravas hadn’t seen a tomato in its life, but the halloumi was actually nice, my fiance approached the manager to pay the bill as no one came to us so we could pay, the manager kicked off at the waitress asking why she didn’t take the card reader over but she snapped back saying she’s not had time as she’s busy, my fiance told him he wasn’t happy and was disappointed but he got attitude back and turned away, terrible food and terrible service, he wouldn’t return even if we were offered a free meal, totally ruined our anniversary so thanks for that!!

After a lovely walk around Hollingworth Lake my friend and I were peckish, so upon seeing this restaurant we decided to go in, after looking at the 'promising' menu outside. Service was good and friendly, however the food was disappointing. We ordered food to share, the charcuterie board and a portion of truffle and parmesan chunky chips. Charcuterie is usually a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, served cold or chilled. We were offered hot plates for this and I requested cold plates, which we were promptly given. When we tasted the food that's when disappointment set in. The chips weren't hot, but warm. The toasted bread on the charcuterie platter was actually fried bread, with oil oozing out of it, the cold meat was chewy (didn't seem fresh) and the blue cheese appeared as if it had been frozen and defrosted. I didn't bother trying the other cheeses, even though there was brie on the platter, which I love. I couldn't eat the 'toasted' bread and I was just put off. I'm sorry to write the above as I'm not a negative person, but feel I have to bring this to the attention of people intending to eat there. Maybe it was a one off because of being Easter Sunday, but food of that standard shouldn't be served; best to wait until you can supply fresh food.

Wow has this place gone down hill! Admittedly it has been a while since my last visit here for food. It was a great experience. Had several tapas dishes all of which were delicious. This time however a very different story. The toilets where grubby and shabby the staff unhelpful and food was so bad we didn’t eat it! ( pics included) The cost of 12.95 for a plate of frozen fries with rock hard turkey squares , dry bacon bits and a squeeze of mayo! The baked potato and cheese looked as if it had been heated with a blow torch. Totally inedible. When we complained and sent the food back uneaten the boy serving grunted and that was that. Needless to say we will not be back.

We were celebrating with a big group of people and ordered the Tapas, the food quality was average but the amount was very poor for ÂŁ20. Also they didn't serve the tapas at once, rather in bits. The staff was friendly but they ran out of wine glasses in the first half an hour and served the (not so cheap) wine in tumblers. The live music was good and the atmosphere was great.
