The best restaurants serving Spanish food in South East

What an amazing experience we had for my birthday. This restaurant really is a classically typical Spanish family restaurant with that wonderful, relaxed cosy feel. We were looked after so well by the staff and with so many grandchildren, nothing was too much trouble. Now the food experience was something else with the array of tapas to start with, from fresh caught, sliced and smoked scad to stuffed squid, octopus, grilled peppers, sliced pork loin, iberico sliced ham etc etc etc to the star of the evening, besides myself, whole sucking pig and sliced rib of beef, absolutely perfectly cooked. I was with a couple of the island’s top chefs, and their reactions were to doff their caps to the kitchen. Amazing evening, thank you.

Delicious tapas in a relaxed, beautifully lit venue. The food is mouthwatering! Great music. Excellent service. Amazing dishes - try the broccoli!

Bit of bizarre experience. Attended at 8:30pm on holiday weekend to check if there was a table available. Female waitress asked if we booked and as we hadn't she stated they had no room and a full sitting was due despite the fact there was dozens of tables free. This was strange as they had entertainment and I couldn't believe 70 people were about to attend. We got a take away elsewhere and looked back later in to find none of the tables had been taken as the waitress had stated. It was abundantly clear she lied about the next 9pm sitting. She looked shocked when we popped our head in again as we all knew it was not true. It's their restaurant and up to them when to accept customers but I feel this was not a manager just a lazy waitress getting rid of customers so she can have an earlier home time. Next day we attended at midday and pretty empty and got a table and had lovely cocktails and food. Would highly recommend this restaurant (as long as you are not greeted by the lazy and inexperienced hostess who doesn't care about customers or if the owners make money) The following day we tried to get a delivery stated on website they provide but not only do they not deliver they turned down us collecting food as well. Great place and great food but if I was the owner I would be horrified a couple of staff turn down trade so easily.

Three of us had the lunch h time offer at £18 each. One bottle of water I lemonade and I e put it beer was charged £86 . Think I was charged individually not charged for the offer. Make sure you check your bill.

We absolutely loved this place 💖 What started off as a late lunch ended up us staying till 11pm. We were made so welcome we didn’t want to leave! ✨ The venue is lovely, staff so friendly and food and cocktails absolutely delicious. Icing on the cake was a local live band playing in the evening who were brilliant! A place full of heart and soul on all levels 💜 Thank you. We shall be back xx

Last night of a week long holiday in Hastings and Las Tapas was open so thought we would give it a go. Issue with veg delivery meant no Padron Peppers which was a shame. Had the Patas Bravas, Chorizo and Prawn dishes. All cooked to order. You can see the kitchen area so you know exactly what is happening to your food. All excellent. Churros and chocolate sauce, well.... Staff very friendly

Such a delicious meal! We visited off a recommendation from a friend, and it surpassed our expectations! Would highly recommend the golden curry, coconut chicken, and crispy beef. We also took advantage of the 2 for 1 cocktails - their take on an espresso martini was excellent. We also loved our servers, Gus and Michael. Can’t wait to come back!

A charming restaurant with very delicious and quality food, the patatas bravas, the paella, the ham and cheese croquettes, everything was spectacular. The service is exceptionally friendly and attentive, it is the ideal place to enjoy a dinner or lunch with exquisite food.

Lovely lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Staff were great, food was delicious and a buzzy atmosphere for a Thursday lunchtime. Look forward to returning.

Nice food. Good service. The steak was incredible. I have had tapas before and they are good. This time; however I decided the to try the stake and I have no regrets. It was one of best I have eaten for a while

Odd place, serving bottles of beer, but it has a cool vibe and a friendly barman. I could imagine chilling here for a few hours. In good weather plenty of seating outside.

Me and my husband loved the place. We had a really good reception, the manager was efficient and works good with the team. The food was so tasty and fresh.
