The best restaurants serving Spanish food in North East

Great coffee and great service, the perfect location to grab and drink and walk along the river tees and visit the tees barrage. Service was good and the price very reasonable.

Been here several times with both family and workmates. Everyone everytime has had a fantastic meal. Food has fantastic flavour and taste, service is excellent, prices are incredible. Would recommend to anyone.

Este es el mejor lugar para mí para ir a mi primera cita con mi primer amor de mi vida y conocí a mi primer amor 💕 en este hermoso lugar y estoy tan decepcionada de que esto esté cerrado y estoy tan decepcionada de que hayan cerrado este lugar y no estoy contenta con el hecho de que hayan decidido cerrar este maravilloso lugar porque no sé cuáles fueron las razones de esto, pero han cometido un gran error en su decisión de cerrar este hermoso bar y fui allí a buscar mi ginebra, pero luego me di cuenta de que han abierto un café tonto y ahora ni siquiera son un buen lugar para mí ir y tenía un buen recuerdo de este lugar es el mejor lugar para mí ir allí es tan triste que ya no puedo ir allí, pero no es justo para los amantes de la ginebra y conocí a mi primer amor en este lugar y ahora ni siquiera está abierto para mí estar allí es mucho para mí llevarlo es tan triste

Fuimos a comer a este lugar con un compañero que reside en Newcastle, ya nos aviso de que no era un magnifico restaurante, ni un lugar muy acogedor ya que esta en un local de un centro comercial que esta desierto Lo regentan un matrimonio que son colombianos, por ello el servicio fue excelente pero lo que mas nos sorprendio ya que nuestro compañero no nos lo dijo fue que ellos habian estado en España y su Tiendita era casi el 50% de productos españoles. Podeis imaginar este dia en que consistio nuesta comida, chorizos riojanos, fabada, pa amb tomaquet i pernil, tortillas, etc etc.todo ello regado con un buen vino del Penedes, en resumen una gran comilona y por ello nos sentimos como en casa Relacion precio - calidad muy razonable. Aparte de este pequeño restaurante tienen la pequeña Tiendita donde puedes comprar los productos españoles. LA LASTIMA fue lo que nos comunico puesto que era muy amigo de nuestro compañero y nos dijo que en Enero o Febrero tenia que dejar el local porque una inmobiliaria habia comprado todo el edificio y tenia que cerrar el negocio al menos durante 2 años, una verdadera lastima ya que este pequeño rincon en plena ciudad era como un remanso de paz. Sin lugar a dudas era un lugar para recomendar por el buen trato y amabilidad y poder recordar un trocito de nuestro pais.

Las Iguanas is our go to meal out again! It's been a long time, but so glad we came back for a nostalgic anniversary date night. The bottomless tapas is such good value and great for sharing, we were stuffed. I've already told people at work and they are booked to go tonight. We are in York soon and booked for bottomless tapas there so we can bring our son, as he will definitely love it too. You get 3 dishes at a time, and no sooner have you finished they are straight over to see what you want next 👍🏻 We love the atmosphere and music here and the staff are awesome too. Even when it's busy it has a relaxed, happy and social atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening!

The staff are very professional, knowledgeable & helpful. Ajay in particular was fantastic. Food is really tasty & fresh.

My brother worked here about 10 years ago.. he now lives in Spain and learnt alot from this place. Very nice food and friendly staff.. if you want a paella ring up at 11am and order it so it is ready for you at 1145-12noon . Saves a little time and the staff will thank you. Everything is fresh

Visited here with friends. This was our third visit. Food was fine, we weren’t offered dessert, the chef had his coat on and was out the door before we had finished our mains . The waitress started mopping the floor then turned the music off. Obviously time to leave. It was only 20.30 advertised closing time was 21.30 as we were leaving through the door they were pulling the shutters down. We felt unwelcome and probably now won’t go back
