I will start this review by saying that I was born and raised in Spain, which may bias my opinion due to knowing how the actual Spanish culture is. I also understand the differences between customer service and food chains in London and in Spain since I work as an assistant manager in a restaurant. Having these in consideration, the first thing to point out was the horrific customer service given to us. We were a group of 8 who came 10 minutes late. We had a reservation from 18:00 to 21:00. Besides being asked what we wanted to order over 3 times in less than 5 minutes, our waitress was neither looking at us nor speaking in a way that was understandable. I wish he at least would have taken our orders correctly. A chain of restaurants "specialized" in tapas, which are meant to be small plates to share, should understand the sizes of the groups or at least be able to recommend accordingly to the customer needs. The portions were surprisingly small. We didn't expect Mediterranean portions, but not having to order a minimum of two of everything since we ordered around 10 small plates for 8. The mains were not an exception to being criticized since, again, the portion compared to the price was ridiculously small. The taste was acceptable, but the "unfortunate" timings of the waiter, who took the orders wrong and had to ask repeatedly for several things, were quite disappointing. It all started when we had to change from Iberica Canary Wharf, where I heard amazing things related to great portions and customer service due to some maintenance issues. After requesting a discount for the inconvenience, which they didn't offer, we moved to Iberica Farrindon because there was no other place to change being so close to Christmas. Overall quite displeased and ashamed since the only one who did their job properly was the woman on the reception. Definitely not worth it to go if you are expecting to eat properly and at a decent price.

Visited this place for a fun date night, staff was really friendly and helpful, food was absolutely amazing. If you can't see something you want on display you can ask and they'll make it for you which is great!! We sat at one of the front tables which are very very small, you can't really sit comfortably and because of how small it is people were constantly walking past which was not ideal but it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. We spent a small fortune here because we were quite hungry and kept getting more and more 🥲 so the price stacked up. Would recommend this place if you're not that hungry, otherwise be ready to spend quite a lot of money!

First time visiting. Table for 5. Food very good :) will return :)

Hidden gem, great food and views over the Sound

The Tapas was lovely. But the paella could have been better.

Preferimos la sucursal de George IV, el personal es amable, la comida es excelente y realmente se siente como si hubiera estado en España durante un par de horas. Tuvimos la oferta previa al teatro, tres tapas por apenas 15 cada una, que incluían ensalada mallorquina y andaluza, calamares, langostinos y alioli, chuletas de cordero y mejillones. Todo servido a la perfección y con una tapa decente. Solo un pequeño gemido, no tenían chiperones debido a un problema con el proveedor. En general, un gran lugar para comer con las reglas de Covid 19 cumplió perfectamente. Estupendo!

We’ve been coming here regularly since it opened but it’s really not somewhere I would do again. We came here yesterday and the food was appalling. Papas Bravas now replaced by bog standard chips which didn’t even taste fresh, overcooked Boquerones, morcilla was mealy, pulled pork sandwich all dried out. Basically we felt like we were eating the reheated leftovers from the lunchtime rush. Even I wouldn’t have served it to my kids on a rainy Monday night never mind actually charging anybody for it. The one saving grace was the charming manager who clearly wanted to sort it all out and was happy to take the worst dishes off the bill. The waitress was the same girl who always serves us and as always she was lovely and friendly. Can’t fault that - but the kitchen needs to be sorted out IMO.

This is one of my fav places to go, there is a fantastic selection of places to eat and some beautiful little shops, where you will get good quality merchandise and friendly staff. If you need a present for your nearest and dearest, this is a good place to start your search as there are plenty of different shops to choose from. All the food here in South Quay is amazing, and today I had the katsu loaded fries from Rad Burger, and I was not disappointed, totally recommend this!

The ingredients are very fresh, and the cooking technology and seasoning are excellent! It‘s a very valuable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I fell like I am reviewing a different venue as our experience was at odds with that of preceding reviewers, perhaps there was a different team on duty. It was an impromptu visit and a great find. The food, service and value was the best we have experienced for brunch anywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the food well presented and perfectly cooked to order, the best flat white coffee I've had for a long time and for the first time ever we asked for a doggy bag as the portions were so large and food too good to waste. There was a great mix of ages, individuals working on their laps tops, family groups and cyclists which made for a great atmosphere. We will return and hope it lives up to our now high expectations!

Great food and ambience: Wonderful and friendly staff. Aubergine fritters with goat cheese and honey- who knew they were the perfect combo ever in a starter!! Steak and tender pork loin were great. Flan too.. expensive, with a bottle of wine …but great cosy atmosphere for a nice conversation. Thank you!

Truly abysmal service. There were 4-5 staff members here today and about 9 tables and it still took us forever to get seated, to get a menu, and then to order. The three servers seemed like they were forced to be there for community service or something - absolutely miserable. Then they have the gall to add a service charge as if they have superior service. I was excited to make this my new local since I just moved down the street but based on the attitude of ALL the waiters, it seems like getting good service here will be hard.
