Friendly staff,lovely seafood restaurant we ordered crab,mussels, prawns and oyster,fresh salads.definately worth a visit if your on the island

The best Fish and chip shop around! Really delicious always cooked fresh (non of this reheating yesterday’s left overs like other Chip shops) and the staff are always really kind and caring. I’m yet to have something of the menu I haven’t enjoyed !

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly but not overbearing service and excellent food. The five of us had a range of small plates and main meals - really decent portion sizes and tasty - unfortunately no room for dessert!

Didn't see it being packed. Fish and chips a little on the small size, ordered large on both. Chips looked like the end of a batch many bits not chunky. Usually good but not today.

Really fresh delicious cod & chips ! - fish so fresh and batter crispy. The regular fish was huge! Great service and a cup of tea to enjoy . We didn’t eat in as we sat in our car looking out to the bay. I would thoroughly recommend this Fish & Chip shop ( you can dine in too) the staff were lovely. We don’t live in the area & were visiting Knott End - we would definitely return 🙌🏽🐟

I had been looking forward to visiting DN1 for a while. Beautifully intimate venue, but absolutely has the vibey buzz I love- even within a small space. We sat in the dinining area which was lovely, but we will definitely try the chefs table next time- that’s where all the action happens! He food was fab- innovate and well put together - the cod tongue and macaroons were our favourites. *chefs kiss* But above anything…what impressed us most, was the service level- unrivaled. Incredible from such a young team- everyone was brilliant, but Tom is truly fantasitc. We can’t wait to visit again- bravo!

After a recommendation from a friend and, knowing the hostelry's reputation for beer, I felt I ought to sample the chowder. Wholesome, full-flavoured and cooked "just-right" for me, and served piping hot in a comfortable and upbeat environment, by kindly supportive professional staff.

Absolutely brilliant. Traditional chippy with fast,, efficient service, great prices, really crisp batter and chips, very fresh haddock. Does get any better for a takeaway!

Finally after a number of years we made it to Creel and Reel. Hot lobster rolls and a bacon and scallop sandwich. Absolutely delicious.

Delicious fish and chips freshly cooked. Not greasy. Spotlessly clean shop. Fast service. Would recommend.

What incredible ladies, who kindly catered for our children’s christening. Nothing was to much trouble, and they were extremely helpful with our special dietary guests. A super service, delivered with smiles and even more delicious food! They even added a special little touch and decorated their truck for the occasion. A massive massive thank you as it made the day so much less stressful for me! Keep doing what you are doing because it is great!

This was our first visit to Crusoes. We hadn't ever heard of it so maybe needs some extra work on advertising and social media. The interior is lovely and has a wonderful view of the harbour. The menu is small but is a good thing as far as I am concerned as everything is freshly prepared and cooked by chef Gary. We all had the crab and prawn linguine which was really tasty. Friendly service and good food led to a lovely evening with friends

Honestly astounded that there are two people that have given this place less than 5 stars & also the fact there isn't a waiting list to get in here. I consider myself well travelled and I've not had seafood this good, with this texture, with flavours that just compliment everything. I'm considering ordering seconds rather than getting the bill to be honest, yes it's small plates but the flavours are huge just order more to share around. Service also deserves a shout out these guys are super friendly and welcoming and you can see the pride they put into this place. An absolute must visit

Been going to this fish and chip shop my whole life and we have missed since it shut from a fire. It’s back and even better than before. Warm and friendly staff and great food
