What a find, got to be visited! Amazing food and fantastic service and really friendly staff. We loved it and would really recommend it to one and all!

We went to a live music night outdoors, and reef and beef were there. We ordered scampi, salt and pepper squid and a fresh mackerel bap. All of them were cooked perfectly, good value portions and the mackerel was certainly fresh. Would highly recommend any or all of these - thank you reef and beef! We can’t wait for the next time. Eaten from here a number of times now and the fish, chips and mushy peas are consistently decent. My only feedback would be that the mushy peas are more like a puree but still taste good. The small fish is a decent size bit of cod too.

£11 for cod that must have been put in the freezer years ago. Very very poor.

This is one of my local chip shops and it gets used by us on a regular basis. They do a large range of hot takeaway food and the chips etc are always cooked fresh so you'll be happy to know that your food will be nice and hot. The staff have always been very warm and friendly, there's no sit down available as it's a chip shop and not a restaurant. There's parking just outside so that shouldn't be a problem for you although it can get busy between 5pm and 7pm .

I had a great meal at the chip shed, my friends had told me how good it was and it didn't disappoint. Stand out of the night was the service from Georgia, she was friendly, conversational and completely right about the curry sauce!

Excellent fish and chips. The cod was an extremely generous portion lovely light crispy batter and the cod white and full of flavour, the same goes for my husbands choice of Haddock. Freshly cooked chips good too. Definitely recommend if you like Cod and Haddock 👍

I waited over 25 minutes for my food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for ages. The server was inattentive and didn't check in once after we placed our order. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back here

I've been going here for about 30 years now and always had good service and food. Tonight is the first time I've ever had shocking food from there and will never go back. Chicken kebab is full of bones, nearly chocked on it. Then all through the chicken are the spine with little bones in.... Not going again I'll stick to Valli's at least there's no bones

Would definitely recommend, good steak pie and the chips were to die for. Will be ordering from here again!

Really sad, so so late and arguing with me that my post code is wrong and it’s not…. The food is cold as it’s 30 mins late and driver went to completely the wrong place. Normally food is amazing and not had issue with delivery before.

I visited Fish Fare whilst working away and asked for a VAT receipt. The staff acted as if I’d just handed them a dead baby. They begrudgingly routed around and after some time, found their VAT number. Whilst waiting for my order, a member of staff confronted me saying it’s not a legal requirement to be VAT registered. I wasn’t worried if they were or not! I just needed their VAT number for my work is they were.
