The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Lancaster North West

To quote a person with local connections 'Super, smashing, marvellous, great '. Excellent chowder (fishy, meaty and vegetabley), beer, ambiance and service. Call in on your next visit.

The best service I have ever had visiting a takeaway! The lady on the front was so lovely and friendly. It does get busy but it’s ran very well so this doesn’t seem to affect things too much. To top it off, the food is delicious and by far much better than other similar take aways in the area.

£3.50 for 1 regular takeway portion of chips...disgraceful!

It's gone down hill in my eyes very over priced

Gran sabor de pescado y taza de cena, con guisantes mullidos y salsa tártara increíble mano - hecho por el propietario de Nathan. Es la primera vez que me ofrecen una rodaja de limón en una comida para llevar - buen toque! Excelente servicio en general.

Sadly what was one of the best fish and chip shops in the area is under new management and is now a Chinese takeaway and Chippy. I can't comment on the quality of the Chinese food but the fish and chips are now poor. The fish was thin and had more of a thin dusting of flour rather than batter. There was an overall twang to the taste I couldn't quite place, it wasn't off, just not right. The chips were average. There are much better options within a few miles. Extra star as the serving staff were good.

Even when passing by on the moors above Lancaster I very often end up dropping down to get my dinner or tea from Neptune - its fresh delicious properly cooked (fish not cooked like leather!) and lovely chips!

Oh my days, the fish just falls apart, and the fish in the small bites is big, really good value for money, the chicken bites also are good value for money six pieces, battered sausage is large too, curry sauce is so good not spicy, delivered before time too, thank you, I'm stuffed 🙏
