Just had probably the tastiest steak pie and chips I've ever had. Absolutely delicious

We came here from Newcastle centre to have some fresh seafood and Riley’s Fish Shop was an excellent choice in all aspects! We had a nice friendly chat with lady staff before our lunch started. Smooth wine and oysters of both types on offer were a must (not local catch but Irish and Channel). Then we prudently went through all the small dish menu :-) Especially scallops were absolutely splendid. Booking is recommended. Next time im here, I will be back for sure! Thank you :-)

Went for lunch and dinner as we were in the area for a few days. Lunch was ok👍. Dinner not so good, over cooked salted potatoes, salad drenched in oil and the bread was under cooked. We were the last table booked so I guess they let the fire run down hence the under cooked bread. Overall we were disappointed.

Thank you to Laura and Kris for making my 60th birthday party so special. Fantastic food as always and a wonderful atmosphere. You couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. I've already been asked about my 70th birthday!

Popped in for a Birthday cake and cocktails, bit stuffy, perhaps our giggling was not suitable for the expected clientele x

I've always ordered online , food is absolutely amazing, no frozen chips or any other frozen foods all done fresh on the day and the order is always right , just can't fault the food , thankyou for a great service 😊
