Excited to return after they relocated to the golf course. The new site is larger and obvious change in ambiance people are stating, was expected. Had the brunch bowl which I used to enjoy and not surprised to see no change in its taste or quality. Beautiful views and cannot wait till the summer where you can sit outside to enjoy them, without the old issue of vehicles passing by constantly. Change is always hard but do feel their success outgrew the older smaller cafe. More space, means more people can enjoy the coffee and gorgeous cakes! Its a win, win

I had a delicious gluten free breakfast Also free parking and open to everybody, golfer or not, all welcome. It was only last month on my last visit. I couldn't keep away when I was in the area and I forgot to take a picture when I'm a photographer 😅 not a food photographer, it was that nice. I like going to what I know. This place needs a big shout out! Service brilliant! 😊

We went to the new venue today for afternoon tea and sad to say it doesn’t feel the same. A strange environment in the golf club, mixing golf club members with those having brunch etc., and lacking the warm, cosy vibe the old spot had. Some of our cakes didn’t taste super fresh either and a small sandwich provided on the GF afternoon tea, which I’m not sure warranted the cost. On the whole, not the 5* experience or quality we’ve previously had. As a coeliac, I love supporting gluten free friendly businesses, but wanted to provide some feedback on this occasion.

Just had lunch at new venue. Prefer the old venue as it was smaller and more personal, but food was fab as usual. Once we received our food we found a table outside in the sun. The staff were excellent as was the service. We will definitely be back and as I am a coeliac find the gluten free options amazing.

Have been many of times at both the old venue and new one. Absolutely amazing service, great food with a huge range of gluten free options and the staff are always happy to chat. A place I can go that is dog friendly and allergen aware!

I love this café and as someone with a gluten intolerance I know I can eat here without a worry. The food is incredible, such a good range and absolutely delicious.

Came here for our Sunday lunch. Food was disappointing. Meat poor and didn't taste freshly cooked, cauliflower cheese strange texture and bland, veg cold and raw. Strange tasting gravy, vinegar or something like that in there? To top it off it was hugely overpriced. Won't be returning!

We came here for brunch after a bracing seaside walk. The food was delicious as was the coffee. The staff were really accommodating of my fussy eating. Would definitely recommend and return.

Called on for Sunday Lunch on 20/10 - absolutely fabulous. Roast beef was cooked to perfection, as were the vegetables. Staff were great and all finished off with lovely cup of Tynemouth Coffee Co coffee afterwards. Would easily recommend a visit - you won’t be disappointed.

Had a gluten free Sunday dinner which was incredible! Gluten free Yorkshire pudding and gravy. One of the best Sunday dinners I’ve ever had. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a gluten free Sunday dinner in the area. Coeliac friendly!

Amazing find. Had the best smashed avocado and poached eggs! Allergy friendly (my son has serious allergies). The staff were so attentive and friendly. Extensive gluten free options and will definitely be back!

Today’s experience was very disappointing. Waited for an hour and there was no food delivered at the end… We ordered our food just before 14:00 and we followed up at 14:35 to only be told “30 minutes is a normal waiting time and it’s only been a few minutes over. We class 45 minutes and above as a long wait” and that there’s only one oven that is working. No one told us this information upon sitting on our tables. We then waited for 10 more minutes as we were told food will be ready by this time. 14:50 comes and there’s still no food so we had to ask for a refund and find somewhere else. The whole experience was just disappointing and the staff’s response was very rude to customers who are simply following up on their food.

Ignore the opening times, went to go last week at 3pm as advertised closing was 4pm but already closed sign on the door...

Lovely time celebrating their second birthday today. There was an excellent atmosphere with great live music and lots of activities for the kids. One of our party is gluten free and knew that there would be no problems and loved the posh gluten free bun for his burger. My rump steak with chimichurri and rice was spot on. The strips of steak were perfectly rare and they even gave me a fresh mayo-free slaw as I said I didn't like mayonnaise when ordering. Thanks again to Laura and the team.

Lovely friendly place, pulled pork ciabatta delicious, portions very generous, wine a bit warm though. Everything else spot on

Just like to say a big thank you to the chef and staff at this wonderful cafe as I recently celebrated my 70th birthday and the food was excellent and the staff were amazing!

Met a friend for breakfast it was delicious will definitely be going back. All the ingredients where fresh and colourful.
