The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Mendip South West

I have visited quite a few times now, before and after the take over. I loved it then and I love it now. I was very excited to find out the new owners as my partner and I are regulars at their other business! We went to the launch night first, and the food and service was fantastic (as it always is) - but also loved the live music. Seeing on the Instagram page that they want to have more live music events / DJ events I personally think is a great idea, especially during the bottomless brunches!! We also went to the newly launched Tandoori Tuesdays and the food was INCREDIBLE. You get Poppadom's when you first sat down and then they bring out the main event! A selection of meats (vegetarian available), with a freshly made Naan bread & Masala chips. For the price, its amazing value for money and tasted amazing. We will be visiting again (and again and again)

Lovely Italian Pizza place with a twist. Staff were awesome and the restaurant is really welcoming. Nice variety of Italian dishes on the menu and some with a twist.

We love visiting Evi's. Lovely environment, friendly accommodating staff and yummy food. The addition of pizzas to the menu has widened its appeal to family tastes. Food is prepared and cooked in the open kitchen and the chef is keen to know how we enjoyed the food!

Lucky enough to have eaten pizza in many places in the world. Mossy’s may be the best . Well worth going out of your way ! You won’t be disappointed!

Popped in for a couple of pizzas and drinks - lovely staff serving homemade pizzas. Best we've had for years. Mainly take-away trade but they have a few tables. Look forward to going back soon.

Well I don’t even no where to start but we definitely had the most amazing day and our party at the goat was just unreal! The atmosphere was so good, they where so much to do upstairs games wise and so good you have a big bar up there as well. One of the main things I loved that use girls could take our shoes of and have a good party and it feel clean! There was so many drafts to choose from, cocktails where just so good! Would I host another party there absolutely YES! Could not rate this place enough thank you so much Eddy it was brilliant

Stopped en-route here for the nature reserve at Ham Wall . We both enjoyed our lunch very much as the prices were reasonable , and the amount on our plates exceeded our expectations . We had the pork & lamb roasts between us , which we found to be an excellent Sunday lunch . We hope this business thrives as it deserves to , with good and friendly staff , and have recommended it to our son who lives not far away .

Met up with friends and decided to try Fireaway pizza. Very easy to order over phone. We collected as we were passing. Very fresh and tasty. Nice selection of pizzas, sides and desserts available. Fairly priced and we would definitely go back again.

Best pizza in Yeovil, Edgar is a very friendly guy, pizza is made fresh. What is there not to like? Tasty pizza, recent change to menu is a big hit!

Great place to stay,accommodation large room,but would prefer room further away from the stairs as door banging everytime someone came up to rooms, that said will stay there again, staff very pleasent and helpful,

Awful service. We booked a table for the six of us and we were all really looking forward to the meal, as we’ve always thought that it looks like a lovely restaurant. We were waiting for over half an hour before our drink orders were taken and another 30 minutes before they appeared. We ordered two charcuterie and cheese boards as starters between us and it took over 40 minutes for these to come out. When they came out, each board only had two tiny pieces of cheese which had clearly been broken off a slab a cheese rather than cut. At £18 each these were extremely disappointing. We were then waiting another 45 minutes for our mains and when they came out our starter plates etc had not even been cleared. We had been in the restaurant for almost 4 hours by the time we left as a result of the long wait for any service. The restaurant wasn’t exactly busy and the staff were standing around most of the time. We asked to take off the service charge at the end of the meal due to the poor experience and the waitress was rude and did not apologise for the poor service. Will not be returning.
