Best pizza in Yeovil, Edgar is a very friendly guy, pizza is made fresh. What is there not to like? Tasty pizza, recent change to menu is a big hit!

After placing an order we were informed the was no gluten free bases. Edgar's said they would issue a refund. After 5 weeks of chasing them and multiple conversations we still haven't received it!

I really wanted Edgar's to be good, as I'd much rather order pizza from an independent shop than the likes of dominos... I have ordered on 3 separate occasions and there has always been something missing from the order or wrong. As well as this delivery has always taken ages, and I'm not just talking about 10-20 mins late. Our latest order took over an hour and a half. It's such a shame as the staff are always polite when you call and the food isn't bad. Apart from garlic pizza bread having goats cheese on it! I can only assume this is what cheese it was... It definitely was not mozzarella or the usual pizza cheese you'd expect! Our latest order was the Monday deal which includes 2 pizzas, garlic bread, chocolate pizza (swapped for wedges as they had none left) and 2 drinks. Unfortunately as usual delivery took over an hour and a half, and when it did arrive our drinks were missing. After calling the store they confirmed we would be refunded for the missing items... This is yet to happen... I am so disappointed as I really wanted Edgar's to be great, but it seems there is a real lack of organisation and communication which is affecting the service customers are receiving. Unfortunately I won't be ordering again, dominos is a safer bet.

I tried my best to like this place as down in this area of Somersetm places that will deliver a pizza to your house are unfortunately few and far between. After a completely incorrect first order, and cold second order i decided to try and give the benefit of the doubt and hope for third time lucky. More fool me. I ordered a Dracula’s pizza and instead got a pepperoni pizza with a sprinkling of spring onion (which isnt even advertised as being a topping) and the garlic bread with tomato came with…no tomato! I ordered a garlic dips which the driver lied about being in the pizza boxes. When i noticed this absence i ran outside and spoke to the driver who said “what do you want me to do… I’m just a driver” neither apologising for his lie nor willing to make things right. To sum it up after ordering three times and having identical experiences, once edgars have your money they’ll deliver you absolutely anything, regardless of what you’ve ordered and have zero interest in correcting their mistakes. Really wanted to like this place as its a business thats opened in the peak of a pandemic but it’s just impossible to.

After reading some of these reviews I was worried that I had made a mistake booking here. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The lady behind the bar was lovely, very smiley and welcoming. The food was really good and speedy service. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again.

Awful service. We booked a table for the six of us and we were all really looking forward to the meal, as we’ve always thought that it looks like a lovely restaurant. We were waiting for over half an hour before our drink orders were taken and another 30 minutes before they appeared. We ordered two charcuterie and cheese boards as starters between us and it took over 40 minutes for these to come out. When they came out, each board only had two tiny pieces of cheese which had clearly been broken off a slab a cheese rather than cut. At £18 each these were extremely disappointing. We were then waiting another 45 minutes for our mains and when they came out our starter plates etc had not even been cleared. We had been in the restaurant for almost 4 hours by the time we left as a result of the long wait for any service. The restaurant wasn’t exactly busy and the staff were standing around most of the time. We asked to take off the service charge at the end of the meal due to the poor experience and the waitress was rude and did not apologise for the poor service. Will not be returning.

Stopped en-route here for the nature reserve at Ham Wall . We both enjoyed our lunch very much as the prices were reasonable , and the amount on our plates exceeded our expectations . We had the pork & lamb roasts between us , which we found to be an excellent Sunday lunch . We hope this business thrives as it deserves to , with good and friendly staff , and have recommended it to our son who lives not far away .
