The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in West Wales

I went to the beer park with a friend for his birthday, it’s great that you can select what beers you can try, he really enjoyed, as he was able to try various larger from Germany. Dave the owner is full of information and really helpful

Had coffee and a lovely cinnamon bun this weekend. Lovely relaxed environment and the young waitress was especially friendly. Will definitely be calling back.

Nice enough food, but nothing to write home about. The service was really good though. The restaurant had music playing that can only be described as a fire in a pet shop. I thought it was 2 different songs playing at the same time. It was so bizarre, as soon as we finished our main course we had leave.

Every time I’m in Carmarthen I go to Waverleys because the food and staff are magnificent. The lunch never fails to satisfy.

Food was really good quality, everything tasted great and was very reasonably priced. The Red Lion burger is a great option. Portion sizes are generous, and the ice cream included in the Little Cubs meals looks like a full priced desert. 8 of us dining on New Year’s Day, 4 adults and 4 children, and the bill was less than £20pp. Service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating of young children. The only negative is the 4 hour drive for us or we would be regular visitors!

We met the owner during the week and as a result of his recommendation visited their burger van Friday evening to have their homemade fish and chips.. so good. We then visited Sunday to try the Sunday lunch.. spectacular! All homemade to perfection, tasty and generously portioned it was delightful! We absolutely loved every element.The veggie option was a treat and not the run of the mill usual option you get. What a great place will be back every week!

We booked the clarence hotel for 3 night for the Christmas light switch on but unfortunately was told the hotel was going to be closed on the Sunday so they changed the hotel to the sister hotel across the road which wasn’t a problem we really enjoyed it in there this is our 5th time returning this year the only down fall was our heating was broke the staff couldn’t do enough for us supplied us with heaters and extra blankets that done the trick Gary the bar man hope I’ve got he’s name right the very tall guy he was absolutely brilliant and a real credit to the hotel we can wait to return to the clarence hotel thank you to all the staff

What a magnificent venue, totally unexpected interior that just had the wow factor. Then there was a first class menu offering a wide variety of delicious food backed up with excellent personal service. Visited for lunch and evening meal and didn’t want to leave. Well impressive restaurant and shop

Terrible food terrible service no staff at all and the chef came in late and clearly been smoking cannibus also there was arguements in the kitchen I would avoid at all costs

This place has really deteriorated over the years. Food is expensive and mediocre. Usual burgers and chips. My Nachos were awful. A big bowl of soggy mess. An opportunity missed to showcase local food
