Had coffee and a lovely cinnamon bun this weekend. Lovely relaxed environment and the young waitress was especially friendly. Will definitely be calling back.

Have never been here before even though we live nearby. This was an absolutely wonderful cafe. We sat outdoors, there were fairy lights, pretty music. Plus the weather was nice - so relaxing. The staff were so friendly and kind. The female staff member talked to us at length about the menu, opening times and the venue itself, and bid us goodbye in Welsh which was lovely. We had a beetroot brownie and a caramel brownie, a cuppa and an orange juice. All delicious, about £8. Will be going again.

Called for lunch today with my daughter and was not disappointed!! Ordered the Chicken Ramen and the Meatball sandwich. Delicious and ample portion size. Would highly recommend, and will definitely return! Also, loved the bespoke wooden tables, especially the childrens!

Food was really good quality, everything tasted great and was very reasonably priced. The Red Lion burger is a great option. Portion sizes are generous, and the ice cream included in the Little Cubs meals looks like a full priced desert. 8 of us dining on New Year’s Day, 4 adults and 4 children, and the bill was less than £20pp. Service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating of young children. The only negative is the 4 hour drive for us or we would be regular visitors!

main roadWe met the owner during the week and as a result of his recommendation visited their burger van Friday evening to have their homemade fish and chips.. so good. We then visited Sunday to try the Sunday lunch.. spectacular! All homemade to perfection, tasty and generously portioned it was delightful! We absolutely loved every element.The veggie option was a treat and not the run of the mill usual option you get. What a great place will be back every week!
