The Knights Tafarn in Pembrokeshire

We booked a midweek break in bluestone, went to the knights tavern on 3 evenings and the food was great, first night I had the best burger I've ever had, tried the lasagna special the second night and it was as good as any pub lasagna and priced at £14 so you can't really complain, if you want top quality you have to pay for it, so the last night I had another burger and doubled up this time, wow!! More of the burger I'll definitely be coming back for again. Service is excellent, kind, courteous and professional, all the food that came out was well presented and looked fantastic. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and I didn't see anything other than fairly priced top quality food being served by sought after staff, the barman even took it upon himself to put to one side my pint he was pulling, something about the widget in the glass he didn't like the look of, top quality service if you ask me, above and beyond, hard to find these days. Bargain, a mid week break and the children's meals were free every night!!

This place has really deteriorated over the years. Food is expensive and mediocre. Usual burgers and chips. My Nachos were awful. A big bowl of soggy mess. An opportunity missed to showcase local food

horrendously bad meal. ordered curry of the day which was chicken madras. turned up luke warm and milder than a can of chicken soup. staff had no interest and was not interested when we said the food was very poor, got told the curry comes from a packet. worst experience on resort

We have eaten here a few times as it is one of the places at Bluestone that you don’t have to book in advance and it has a large outdoor seating terrace. The food is good and so is the service. It also has a few items such as wraps that are some of the more affordable eating out options at Bluestone and a good menu. Being able to sit outside is also great when it’s warm and inside is very cosy and traditional pub looking interior that we have eaten in on colder days. We haven’t been there for the live music, but plan to be there for that in the future.

guys i cannot tell you how much i literally adore every single staff member who served us, the staff made our experience so fun and are so friendly and nice. aiden even took the time to give my friend a free bday drink and some welsh cakes and we are so so grateful. we absolutely love this place and are gutted to leave. shoutout to dylan, emma and mason too for making us laugh so much too. aiden deserves to be ceo. lots of love <3

Had the lamb curry on the Saturday it was ok thought I would give the pub another chance ordered the lamb pie off the specials board when it came it was the lamb curry in a bowl with a lid. When I spook to the very nice waitress who was working extremely hard she agreed it was last nights left over curry. Totally out of order

This is a great place fir food and the food was really nice and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and service was good and fast.

My partner is a massive fan of bluestone or should I say was, the accommodation is great but when you have a chance to spend time without the kids you don't want to spend your evening in a pub that literally freezes you to death, the place is so cold that the bar team wear body warmers, I rest my case, bring a jacket, body warmer, thermals, bring what you can cause you'll be needing the lot.

We spend a begrudging lunch here (lack of other eating venues), and although the service was fine, the food menu was limited and very expensive for what you got. The food itself was OK but was 30% over what I'd expect to pay. Don't price gouge a captive market, people remember stuff like this.

Me and my family enjoyed our meal at The Knights Tafarn, the staff were very friendly and helped us thoroughly with our problems. One young man with dark hair and extremely tall was very kind to my family’s table. His name begins with J but i’m not sure of his full name. Jamie was his name maybe? My apologies for forgetting. I highly recommend this restaurant, i will definitely be coming again

Waited over an hour for food to turn up. Food arrived cold and was quickly sent back. Returned 15 minutes having been microwaved because it had gone soggy but all the veg was still cold. Food returned with money given back and a trip to the fish and chip shop. This place made wetherspoons look michelin star, please avoid at all cost

Food Luke warm. waited 20 minutes to order and then another hour for food to arrive. very shambolic and over priced.

Visited as part of our stay at Bluestone and really disappointed with this place. We were a family of four and despite booking in advance, placed on a long table seating 8 people in the great hall. The place lacked soft furnishings (not even curtains), had almost strip fluorescent lighting and zero atmosphere - it really was like dining in a community centre. The menu was so limited with only about 5 choices. Hubby choose the curry of the day which was definitely reheated and straight out a packet (not fresh and looked like it would glow in the dark). I had halloumi burger which was tasty enough but lacked finesse. Kids meals lacked any kind of nutrition. Food was ordered at the bar and came out within 20mins (that was a sign in itself), then we neither saw nor heard of any staff again after that, no option to order additional drinks and lack of customer service. Truly disappointing experience over all.

Food was nice. Service fine. Just would have preferred to be seated in the main pub although I think they always put large parties in the barn side of the pub which totally lacks atmosphere. You also have to book ages in advance as with all the Bluestone restaurants.

We had a couple of meals here which were lovely. Some great carvings around the restaurant. Excellent service, lovely staff.

The food in this restaurant caters for all the family. Very good quality and great atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.
