Very warming and tasty take on a sunday roast. Ideally would liked a thicker gravey and fluffier potatoes but the crispiness was on point. Service was amazing considering only 2 on shift for a busy sunday lunch rush with a table of about 10 turning up with no reservations. The guys working dealt with it all calmly and still provided attention to their guests

It was great to celebrate Pachamama's 10th Anniversary, we never get tired of the menu, the iconic Crispy Milk Fed Lamb, Pork Belly Chicharrone, Glazed Aubergine, etc etc, we've just about been through the whole menu over the years. The portions are generous, bigger parties will enable more choices to try, otherwise worth working through the menu slowly over many visits! A good wine list and the cocktails are great too!

Stumbled upon Rail House for lunch, while scouting for pre-theater dinner. We ordered the whole sea bass with Vietnamese-style nuoc cham (the risky menu option) and the chimichurri minute steak with fried egg (the conservative option), and both were fantastic! I don’t recommend whole sea bass to finicky diners wigged out by an eye (gingerly concealed by a garnish of shaved cucumber pickle) or intimidated by a rack of pin bones, but if you really love fresh fish, you understand that the dainty yet deadly bone is what keeps the fish moist (the same is true with a macho T-bone steak) and that when whole fish is cooked to succulent perfection, as at the Rail House, the flesh flakes right off with some gentle help from a spoon. I say this as someone who seeks out whole fish, when we go out to eat, because we went to various 4 stars restaurants in Paris, where the waiters are skilled enough to debone a fish, but they did so without our consent and they would remove the operation plate which had all the flavorful juices back to the kitchen to spare us of the visual mess. It’s sacrilege to a pescaphile with centuries of fishermen and fisherwomen in their blood, but understandable from a restaurant's point of view, when you have touchy tourists to serve. The Vietnamese cook in me would say that the sauce garnish for the fish, nuoc cham, would have benefitted from a touch more lime and sugar and more assertive red chili mixed into the base of fish sauce, but the fish was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and as fluffy or flaky as basmati rice. The minute steak was moist and medium rare, but the star of our lunch was an la carte order of smoked sweet potato with whipped horseradish butter. Theirs is a luxurious fusion take on a diner style baked potato, with butter and sour cream you will ever eat in your life. I could down a whole bowl of just the whipped horseradish cream, it had the mouth feel of a warm frothy milkshake and just the right amount of horseradish, to elevate and cut through the sweetness and fattiness of the butter and sweet potato roasted and lightly charred to forkable fluffiness over an open flame. I know I will be trying to replicate the secret recipe at home. We initially felt that the menu prices were a bit steep, but the service was excellent, the waiters were so friendly and inviting, held no airs and didn’t rush us out the door, the menu had originality and zest, and we could tell that the chef took pride in the expert preparation of every morsel. One of the best meals we had in London.

We arrived at a time when the restaurant seemed empty but , because of the design, realised there were several other people hidden from us. We were offered the first plate of ham, cheese, etc. AND a carafe of sangria which was an unexpected bonus. I had ordered via Groupon and there was a little difficulty finding it but then all was plain sailing. I wished I had only gone for the four plates not the six,as each plate waas too much even for two people. I had to leave a lot and hate wasting food. All were nicely presented and the hot tapas WERE hot temperature wise! As we had to leave for a theatre, I had to ask for the churros which were delicioous. A very pleasant evenbing AND the staff knew what was included. Our only problem was which of the many dishes to choose!

Guys, this place is stupendously expensive. £15 for tomatoes, avocado a couple of slices of Halloumi and poached eggs with cooked centres? Yea- you read that right. Cooked solid poached eggs. Is this what London believes is good food nowadays? Expensive pretentious food? Leave the queue and go somewhere else. This place is for tourists arriving fr King’s Cross who won’t know any better.

Servicio rápido y excelente desayuno vegetariano juntos.

I've worked in Covent Garden for years, and this place has gone massively downhill. Three customers, yet still poor service. The main thing about this bar that is dirty now are the glasses. I sent one back, and they gave me another that was dirtier. The young lady behind the bar actually shouted at me, for asking for a clean one, saying I was being rude. To the point that another customer came up and said, "You can't speak to customers like that", then the girl walked off. 20min later, the manager brought a new glass to my table for my wine, and guess what? It was the same dirty glass from before... unbelievable Our party and a few other parties decided to leave. It was almost like it was a rude-themed bar (if it was I would give it 5 stars)

We were given this afternoon tea as a present. The menu for the afternoon tea looks good... but fails to deliver. "Mini brioche and sandwiches Ham, cheddar and mustard Chicken and pesto Cucumber, crème fraiche and smoked salmon Egg mayonnaise and cress." What we actually got was four very small squares of sandwich each, consisting of just the smoked salmon and the egg mayonnaise. Some small cakes as described and a scone. Some of the bread was not the freshest we've ever had, not stale, just not as soft as fresh bread. We were only offered one cup of tea or coffee. Every other afternoon tea we've had at other venues at least offered us additional drinks. It's not as if the place was busy, there were only a few occupied tables. As for atmosphere and ambiance, there was none, especially as the cleaner was hoovering around us and then using a floor polisher.
