Pachamama Bar & Kitchen in City of London, Westminster

After dining at their sister restaurant, Zephyr, I was eager to try one of their original locations. There were three of us, and we ordered about nine dishes, which turned out to be the perfect amount for us. The service was exceptional, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The food arrived quickly, and everything was delicious. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you're in London!

The service was great and the atmosphere Is nice.. but the food has nothing Peruvian.. full of spices and nothing compared to real Peruvian food.

Busy place but I found every dish underwhelming. It’s not bad food but not is it great and for the price, it was poor, especially given the meagre portion sizes. Service was professional enough.

Had very pleasant evening at Pashamana. All of the dishes were excellent, with the exception of the spare ribs which were overly greasy. The octopus was the most tender I’ve ever tasted, aubergine was full of flavour, sea bass ceviche excellent. Margaritas were great. I’d like to see more South American wine on the menu, quite a lot of French and Italian, although the Aussie cab sauv we had was very nice. Atmosphere is buzzy without being too loud. Overall excellent, will return.

Lovely welcome, very good service. Frankly though somewhat overpriced. And then to be asked for a tip when service charge is included is unpleasant. I would recommend the restaurant, but it is overpriced.

Lively, loud restaurant with delicious Peruvian tasting menu.

The food at Pachamama is fantastic, full of flavor and well-presented. However, the service was disappointing. We were seated on time but rushed out after just 1 hour and 10 minutes, even though there were empty tables. The short booking slot left us with no time to properly settle the bill or enjoy our meal. It felt like the restaurant prioritizes turnover over customer experience, which is a shame given the quality of the food.

Another lovely evening with wonderful food and service! Introduced our friends, a couple for for first time the other their second, a hit either way! So much variety, there really isnt anything at all to fault this amazing restaurant! We requested that foods ordered be brought at good interval and which ones to be served up first and they did as discussed, excellent to be able to enjoy it all at our own time! We booked and came 1/2h early , the place was half empty but they made sure we order drinks at the bar before giving us a table that was available from the begining! Food was good but overpriced : 200£ for 2 with 5 small plates and 2 cocktails we won’t be back!

We visited Pachamama Restaurant in Mayfair for the first time today. The entrance is a bit discreet, so it’s easy to walk past it while trying to find the place. Once inside, the décor and ambiance were lovely, but what truly stood out was the food—it was absolutely exceptional. The chicharrones, croquettes, and duck were particularly outstanding. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, especially the person who appeared to be the manager and a young blonde waitress. They were kind enough to help us take a photo, which added a nice touch to our experience. Unfortunately, the payment process dampened what had been an otherwise fantastic visit. A young brunette waiter was overly insistent about the service charge. While I was paying by card, he repeatedly emphasized that the service charge was included but that we could add an additional tip. His persistent pressure left us with a bad impression. We were already aware that the service charge is included, as it’s clearly stated on the bill, and the card machine also displays an option for adding an extra tip. This pushy and unprofessional behavior left us with a sour note at the end of an otherwise enjoyable experience

10/10. Food is excellent, and flavorful. Dishes are very thoughtful. Service was perfect, and the burnt cheesecake was everything I never knew I needed.

Ordered vegetarian dishes which were all so tasty. Portions seemed small to look at but were the right amount, where you aren't left in a food coma. The glazed aubergine was a dish that I'd never come across and the flavours were amazing. Highly recommend. I'm still not over it. I went with a few other people and they very much enjoyed the seafood dishes. Food was served promptly.

Poor food, small plates, incomprehensive tastes, over priced but good atmosphere

This is my favourite restaurant in London. The staff are friendly and the service fantastic. The food is beyond excellent - I've never had a mediocre meal here - they are always stunning. The only problem I have, is the self discipline needed, not to eat too much of the first course, as you HAVE to keep space for the puddings. The chocolate dessert is to die for - it is just sublime. Dark chocolate with a hint of chili topped with some cooling cream. My mouth is watering just at the memory of it. If you've not been to this restaurant, it is an essential try - I think it is unique in London and extremely good. Last night was not an exception - absolutely fantastic

Great place with nice food and lovely staff. Have been there a few times and would definitely recommend. The cheesecake, in particular, is to die for.

The restaurant didn’t meet the expectations - the food was overall average (some dishes dull and tasteless), signature cocktails as well (better to go for classics). The service was good and rather fast, although we didn’t receive one dish that was later added to the bill (so we had to double check the receipt), we were also placed at the strange table (constantly facing staff bottoms/backs and leftover food) although better tables were available. Overall, not recommending.

The pork belly was delicious and creamy, the duck on rice was very unique, and the sea bass ceviche was perfectly made. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our special request.

Very good experience. Love the vibes, very good food. Just one comment they brought food a bit too fast!!! But better too fast than too slow, especially as we were with teenagers! They gave a special card to my husband who was celebrating his birthday… such a nice attention!

We had an amazing time at pachamama! We went for a birthday celebration for my dad. The host on the door was amazing and the waiters were also exceptional with their suggestions and patience as we made some changes in what we wanted to order. The food was incredible we loved the sharing concept, it was plenty of food and so enjoyable to get to enjoy each dish together. And the cherry on top was the personalised card they gave my dad for his birthday. They were so sweet and lovely. The quality of the food wa spectacular while also not breaking the bank too much. We had the best time.

A great meal awaits every time! The new dishes specially for Christmas are very good but so are the normal ones on the menu, we recommend any! We introduced another couple of firends who absolutely enjoyed the evening!

An excellent choice for my birthday dinner. The service was great: attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food was exceptionally good. I recommend the mushroom ceviche, the octopus and the glazed aubergine. Duck on rice was too salted and dry but everything else was delicious. I plan to return.

I recently dined at Pachamama and had a delightful experience! The starters, particularly the chicken dish with sauce, were exceptionally delicious. The avocado toast and sea bass, served as mains, were also tasty. However, the churros were a letdown. Unfortunately, the Peruvian chocolate dessert with ice cream was overwhelmingly sweet. Overall, Pachamama's flavorful dishes and vibrant atmosphere make it worth visiting.

We ditched our table reservation and sat at the bar - best decision! The bartender and server gave amazing recommendations and the food and drinks were outstanding.

Nothing to dislike at all, great food, fantastic service, our go-to for sure, any time! We introduced my sister to this all the normal dishes we enjoy, plus a couple of new ones, what a feast! We ran late for our table and called in. So polite and friendly. Dining space aesthetically ticks all the boxes. Ambience for lunch was lovely. Recommend the Peruvian chicken, smacked cucumber and Peruvian rice was STUNNING!!!!! Was not rushed off our table even though we were the last to leave lunch service. Thank you guys. X

One of the best restaurants in London food is just absolutely out of this world. So delicious.

Epic tasting menu that is sure to fill you up! One thing to note is that the tasting menu is a minimum of two people, I came once by myself and was told I’d need to a la carte (which made complete sense given the tasting menu was a bunch of full size dishes that were shared). highlight for me was probably the eggplant dish - extremely flavorful - and the duck rice which had a crazy good sauce. Would come again

Nice Peruvian restaurant and friendly team Had most of the recommended dishes and all were amazing. Tried as well the three desserts options 😅 can’t tell what’s my favorite but definitely all of them were perfectly done The only thing I say that need an improvement is the ceviches which I had better ones elsewhere

I came for the pacha turns 10 event and it was amazing! The service was impeccable, unfortunately I didn’t get my server’s name but he was very attentive, constantly checking in to make sure we were happy and anticipating our needs. He took us through the food options and explained his favourite/why they were his favourite. I was also given a birthday card and candle for my birthday which was a special touch. The food was the icing on the cake, very good quality but the crispy milk fed lamb in particular was out of this world - we ordered it twice! I will definitely be back again - my only regret is that I haven’t visited sooner!

It was great to celebrate Pachamama's 10th Anniversary, we never get tired of the menu, the iconic Crispy Milk Fed Lamb, Pork Belly Chicharrone, Glazed Aubergine, etc etc, we've just about been through the whole menu over the years. The portions are generous, bigger parties will enable more choices to try, otherwise worth working through the menu slowly over many visits! A good wine list and the cocktails are great too!

If anyone from Peru discovered this was passing if as a Peruvian style restaurant they would revolt. It’s is revolting food, all thrown on the table and down the back of your neck by staff who couldn’t pass the “how to serve at a drive thru” test. Atmosphere is good enough. Food quality so bad that the cold and old shrimp antics go was mistaken for chicken , whisk the seasonal greens were in fact over fried antique kale which could be tied together and used as a rope to escape this basement restaurant, or swallowed to extract your intestine. It is a ridiculous waste of time and money topped off with a “pissco “ sour that was just egg topping- more like a chicken egg milkshake You’ve worked it out - don’t go…

Chaotic, poorest quality food, has no resemblance to Peruvian food. Food was cold, unidentifiable, and inedible. Plain garbage served chaotically by undertrained staff. Main course with half the starters etc and all thrown on the table in about 5 minutes. Don’t go

We never get tired of the food at here, lots for choices! We had the smashed burger today which was very tasty and the Super Salad was fab too! Only two of us today so we didn't go to town with our order, just want to say thank you to all the staff who always make our visit enjoyable and memorable!

I absolutely loved it. It's been a long time since I've had such good service in a restaurant. All the staff were amazing and the food was really delicious. I'm so fed up with ridiculously high service charges in restaurants, and with only 9% service charge, it was a win all round. I am looking forward to going back.

Fantastic meal at Pachamama, really enjoyable lunch tasting menu that was delicious. The food and the service was of the highest quality. Perfect for a special occasion. Lunch also offers better value for money, but because it was quite the food actually came out a little too quickly, but we were by no means rushed.

We didn't like our waiter (although all the other staff members were outstanding). We were a company of 4, and it was extremely disappointing that you couldn't order a tasting menu unless ALL other guests at our table ordered it (we're not a bunch of kids, and everyone can have their preferences/or someone might not be that hungry, but no, not 1, not 2, not 3 people can't order a tasting menu, only the entire table - everyone has to order it...). The kitchen was impeccable, and everything was amazing. Again, we didn't like that we couldn't communicate/adjust our order according to the dietary restrictions! One of our friends couldn't eat spicy or peppered food, and although our waiter told us that everything was not spicy - it was. We think this is something that could be adjusted for a client... Overall, I had an excellent experience at Pachamama. 4/5.

We had a lovely dinner in this restaurant yesterday night. We had the degustation menu and really enjoyed it - personal highlight was definitely the crispy lamb. Very very tasty! The only thing that left a weird aftertaste was that after service charge is added to the bill (which totally fine!) the waiter asked us to tip him additionally in the machine to ensure his tip. Asking for double tipping and specifically mentioning it felt a bit sketchy tbh.

Went for our anniversary. One of us is dairy free and the other is non alcoholic. Food was delicious. The staff was polite, friendly knowledgeable on all the ingredients in the dish and understand allergens and can explain everything when asked (no need to ‘go and check). Service is prompt and efficient. We tried the tasting menu and it is good value and filling. The ambience is light, stylish and smart. Lastly, tgey gave us a free ‘shot’ (one alcoholic and one non) on the house for our anniversary. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

They look to use good quality ingredients so it is no surprise that the prices are so high so such small dishes but it still felt over priced. Also a very limited menu as almost all the meat was halal. Not mentioned on the website prior to booking. Had I known I wouldn't have booked.

Fabulous tasting menu featuring some amazing flavours. Been twice now but unfortunately the tasting menu is still the same as last year, would love a bit of variety.

We had the Tasting menu, which happened to have all the items that we wanted to try on the menu. The value including a pisco sour was excellent, and each plate was incredible! Highly recommend for the great, swift service and fantastic food.

First time in this restaurant / even trying Peruvian- could def recommend. Though I just went for a quick bite in between appointments , found the food and drinks options well curated - the ceviche was really good . The service was really good as well especially by Daniel. Incredible food, beautiful decor, great service. We had the tasting menu and every single dish was great. Our favourites were the lamb, tuna ceviche, aubergine, and duck rice.

We booked for a dinner with friends. I’m coeliac so reviewed the menu on their website in advance. It lists dishes with gluten and traces of gluten. When we sat down they said none of the dishes were gluten free. They weren’t remotely apologetic about the misleading menu online or the fact that they left us without a reservation on a Saturday night in central London. Raising the issue with the manager didn’t make much of a difference either.
