Isabel Mayfair in City of London, Westminster

We had dinner there on Wednesday May 1st, my ravioli were soaked in the oily butter sauce, the mushrooms in my husband's dish crunched under my teeth... poorly washed. In short, a bill for 2 bad dishes, 2 glasses of wine £143… a shame! Eventually the toilets to visit which each have sublime wallpapers! But that's all . I don't recommend this place, which is undoubtedly fashionable but not worth it.

Absolutely love Isabel. Perfect combination of great food and opportunity to meet the nicest people in Mayfair. Love the concept of the central bar upstairs and I had the opportunity to experience top top house music DJS downstairs in the Dragon Room, which I believe is one of the best kept secret in Mayfair.

This place is exceptional in all ways. Firstly the staff are very attentive, friendly and actually seem to enjoy their job. The interior decoration is beautiful and marvellous. You feel very special being inside. Check out the toilets, they are insanely designed. Then there is the food. Wow! Clean eating, healthy and fresh. I was blown away.

Very lovely place for lunch. Ordered the steak, small portion but still good, not amazing. Service was excellent.

Unfortunately, they do not have any professionalism at the reception. We were treated without any respect, unfortunately, even though I am one of the visitors of this restaurant, but the treatment is not the same as before.

Amazing ambience and food, highly recommended

The atmosphere and the service in this restaurant are unmatchable! I also love the fact that it becomes a classy club later on at night.

Perfect for drinks, dinner and clubbing all in one place! We went out with the girls, spending all night from the bar where we had amazing cocktails, through the restaurant downstairs (you can see the pictures). The food was great especially the cauliflower dish! Enjoy!

Fancy and high quality for food, service and atmosphere!

I went yesterday around 11, the reception was really rude. I believe the staff needs a lot of training on how to greed thier customer’s. And not talk down to people as they are doing us a favour for being there. The staff gets paid to greed and treat the customers with respect, that is the reason why they are paid, if they cannot be polite and respectful, then they need another job! Really disgusting and disrespectful!

I don't get the whole hype. Its not a bad place, bad it's not that special. I mean the cocktails are ok, overpriced of course, but the bar in itself is small, dark, the music not that nice. But I guess it's a good pmace to meet people so..

My friend and I went this evening for dinner elsewhere and wanted to end the night with a drink at Isabel. We are both sober so were planning on having a mocktail. When we asked the bar tender about alcohol free drinks, we were laughed at, asked why we wouldn’t drink, why we are sober and if we are sober for just this round or for the rest of the evening. After making us feel completely uncomfortable and humiliated he went on to say they wouldn’t serve an alcohol free drink. He finally agreed to make a virgin mojito for £17.50, which lasted all of 6 sips. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a place which was not the way we had hoped to end our lovely evening. Absolutely awful experience, will gladly never return.

Extremely disappointed. My husband and I experienced food poisoning in the night after our dinner. We had steak tartare and tuna tartare and one of the two must have caused the food poisoning. We had a serve case and were knocked out for the whole weekend. We have been guests at Isabel many times and contacted the management team right after. Unfortunately the handling of this matter has been very disappointing. No apologies, no refund of the bill, just lengthy emails with no resolution.

Food was great but it was unacceptable to not let us in the club after promising that we can get ourselfs fresh at home and go back again. It was really ignorant from the bouncers after we showed our receipt that we ate for more than 600£ for 2 persons. We got told from our waiter that we are allowed to enter after dissapearing for a short timewith a stamp. They didnt want to give us one. Very bad service after 11pm!!! For everyone, just go into the restaurant, dont waste your money in this club.

We walked in here starving. The wagyu burger was good but the lobster brioche and the shrimp cocktail not so much. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, but the lady at the welcome desk not as much. She seemed pretty preoccupied.

In hosipitality we always tell that first impressions is best but Here I have faced judgemental in face when we asked for table is available, but from the door only they told No its busy, in rude way. Which give us worst feeling and impressions thank you!

Amazing service and attentive stuff. Had a reservation for 9pm on a Thursday night, straight at the door I get greeted and my coat taken to the cloakroom which is very convenient.As soon as I come inside on a ground floor I can tell the settings are immaculate.It was quite busy for a weeknight but I got to meet a lot of celebrities.The dinner was amazing!Starters are very generous with portions I was nearly food even before the mains came through.The main courses arrived hot and tasty, all sorts of meat for everyone to try and enjoy.Dessert was delicious and filling.Stiff are very attentive, I had a too up on champagne even before finishing my glass which I quite liked even though they were very busy. Great girls night out or a romantic date! 10/10 Definitely will be back .

If you are on the younger side do not go here, the staff were extremely dismissive and rude purely because as a group we were young. We came to have an enjoyable time for a birthday but were met with condescending staff acting as if we were in school saying “uh girls you cannot go to the bathroom together”. My friend has a medical condition and needed someone with her at that time. Then when we mentioned it to the manager he said that the man we had described wasn’t on their staff. He worked at the front of the restaurant. The manager obviously was just trying to get rid of us, so I had to point him out to him and even after that we didn’t receive any apology.

We went to Isabel Mayfair for brunch last Sunday and had a superb experience. The food was wonderful - with a wide variety on the brunch menu. The staff was extremely attentive, always there to refill water or get us another cocktail. The atmosphere was upscale with an easy yet energizing vibe. Highly recommend this spot for brunch!
