I visited Isabel in Mayfair with my girlfriends for lunch, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a chic yet relaxed vibe that made us feel right at home. I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at your venue. I have been a regular customer for years, visiting almost daily and spending money at your establishment. However, my latest visit was extremely frustrating due to the unprofessional behavior of your security staff, particularly a security guard named Yaseen from Egypt. It is unacceptable that guests are being denied entry unless they offer tips. I was told the bar was full, yet while waiting outside, I saw multiple guests being allowed in after tipping the security. This kind of behavior is unfair and unprofessional. I have been coming to this place for years, and I used to enjoy the previous management. However, the current management seems to prioritize tips over customer experience. It feels like I now have to pay extra just to enter and have a drink, which was never the case before. This experience has left me so disappointed that I don’t think I will return. I hope you reconsider your policies and bring back the level of professionalism and customer service that once made this place great.

The staff is friendly and nice - make you feel comfortable and welcome. Interior is beautiful, and music in the club downstairs was very good - a good mix of top chart remixes and some house beats. A couple of downsides - there was a weird price difference in the same positions between the floors: I paid £23 for a cocktail upstairs and £28 for the same cocktail downstairs, which is surely overpriced for a porn star martini. The crowd in the club was a bit controversial at the time we visited. Overall I would recommend to check this out and see for yourself - there are plenty of other places around if you don’t like the vibe.

Went for my Birthday in Feb 2025. It wad buzzing, vibrant and good atmosphere for a week day. However, my starter was served cold, but replaced immediately with a warm one.

We recently visited Isabel restaurant and it was memorable experience. Our server Martha was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations that made our meal even better . The prices were a bit higher than expected, but the quality of the food and service made it well worth the cost. This restaurant is a must try.

Loved the decor loved the vibe and absolutely loved the music (my era). Food was delicious as were the cocktails. What I didn’t like was feeling very rushed. First course came out very quickly after placing order and mains come out immediately after the first course dishes were removed. Wait staff were very nice and friendly maybe a tad over attentive and one of our side dishes was swiped away with food still remaining and whilst we were still eating which is an absolute peeve of mine. It’s both rude and unprofessional. Dessert menus were put before us as mains cleared but despite of the waitress coming over several times, we did not order for a good 10/15 minutes. I have to say that food was excellent and every thing we ordered was fabulous. Loved the loos. Loved the place I’m sure we’ll go back but just ask them to slow it down next time,

Went with the girls, and everything was just perfection—the atmosphere was electric, the best DJ was keeping the vibe immaculate, and the food and drinks were simply outstanding. We sipped on champagne, indulged in the most delicious dishes, and danced the night away in the most glamorous setting. The service was flawless, and the whole experience felt so special. The service was absolutely abismal. Went to celebrate my birthday a week ago and brought our own cake to the restaurant, as you sometimes do when celebrating a birthday in a restaurant. When speaking to our server, who, can I just add, didn’t smile at our table once whilst interacting with us the whole evening, she says “you know it’s really annoying when guests bring their own cake?”. This not how customers should ever be treated. This snarky and arrogant comment ruined the whole experience for our table. “Annoying” is not the vocabulary we expected to hear in such a ‘classy’ and expensive restaurant especially when it regarded us as a table celebrating a birthday. On top of that, she spilt a glass of wine all over my mothers dress and initially refused to replace the glass of wine until a manager stepped in. The food is super mediocre and not worth the price. Good spot for pictures and I would recommend going for drinks at the bar, their cocktails were delicious. Otherwise, a HARD pass.

Isabel in Mayfair is one of my favourite restaurants in London. The food and service are always great. We had the gnocchi with buffala and the lobster pasta. The lobster was generous and really tasty, and the gnocchi was delicious. The cocktails were excellent, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The bartender was kind and fun without overdoing it, and our waitress was super friendly and smiley. I never get bored of Isabel, it’s always a great experience. Thank you!

The food is ok, however way too expensive for what it is and I wouldn't go there if I wanted a real culinary experience. Concerning the service, it is really terrible ; we were so rushed, they made us hurry because we had to give our table back at 10:30pm (which was a condition we agreed with), but then they took 30min to bring the mains and even 40min for the drinks so let's say we had a little time left to truly enjoy. Conclusion is that this restaurant is just really for the vibes and for instagram's pictures.

We were invited here for a business lunch with some friends. The venue is very elegant, and the service excellent and attentive. Two of us selected the Express Lunch, whilst the others selected from the a-la-carte Menu, but the food was very good throughout. We will definitely be back!

Hate to say it but super stiff atmosphere. They have a rope to let you in when it’s empty inside. Food is mid and you could hear a pin drop. We were very excited for this one. Sorry!

Once upon a time, vibes are nice

Look the place is ok atmosphere wise BUT after spending more money than one should admit. The orders were completely wrong, all waiting for you to be drunk and just be ok with the wrong orders. After awhile they kept telling us to leave and even cancelled our dessert orders, demanding us to leave. After arguing for over 30 mins they finally agreed to bring us desserts. On top of that my uncle left his jacket in the cloakroom where they took his hotel keycard and £1k+ from his jacket. I suggest you go somewhere else and spend your money wisely. We surely did not feel invited.

The vibe is lively and chic, however, the food fell a bit short of expectations – it was decent but didn’t quite match the high standard set by the surroundings. To top it off, we spent most of the evening freezing, as the temperature inside was uncomfortably cold.

Great food and incredible atmosphere. However, service lacked thoroughly. Staff was incredible rude and dismissive; We had a table of 10 and understandably quite a large table and quite stressful. However, doesn’t excuse the poor attitude we received from staff including rough and dismissive table service. Not a single smile or inviting attitude from the manager at any point in fact he was very rude. For a place that is very expensive for what you get, you would expect a better experience.

I cannot give this 5 stars as the drinks list is so high. £80 for the cheapest bottle of Rosé as the cheapest bottle which was £70 was sold out….. I wonder why

Nice place, nothing exceptional, very little food, it felt like being in the canteen, really terrible, table of 10 people, total bill of over €2200 for 3 bottles of wine, each person had the complete menu for 100 pounds, because for tables so large they force you to make this truly terrible menu, very low quality, canteen food. Worse reception than ever! We left Rome to celebrate a birthday on a 2-day weekend and when it was -3 degrees in January we didn't bring low-cut dresses and heeled sandals, they made us feel like beggars because we had Uggs and casual clothes like black trousers and a sweater black, really uncomfortable! I highly advise against this place, if you want to hire escorts it is the perfect place, but in addition to the venue you also pay for something else. In essence: it wants to be a refined place but it's terrible! Don't go there at all!!!!!

At this restaurant, where we brought our guests for an enjoyable meal, despite paying a rather high amount, they brought the bill to our table without us asking for it while we hadn’t even finished our bottle of wine. When we pointed out how disrespectful this behavior was, the manager came over and took the payment. Even though we expressed that such conduct was unbecoming of an establishment like this, they didn’t even bother to look us in the eye or respond while taking the bill. This is absolutely not a place I would ever return to—utter disrespect at its finest!

The food is lovely and actually very very good for the price! The drinks are exceptional! Very talented team of mixologists/bar tenders! Service was exceptional! Staff are lovely and attentive as well as knowledgeable! Any recommendations were nice etc! Would definitely come back! The lamb was absolutely lovely! Only negative is it was a bit to dark so was very hard to read the menu and I’m in my 20’s so I can’t imagine how hard it would be for someone older!

Racist staff - especially Ingrid - we literally were standing at the bar drinking our drinks we paid for - the woman comes to us to tell us there is a private event and therefore we need to leave. THERE IS NO PRIVATE EVENT. THERE IS NOTHING. We ask her WHY are we told to leave and she wouldnt give us a reason. Then she just ignore us. We ask other staff they tell us they need to investigate and they can’t come up with an answer. Discrimination? probably. we are a group of ethnic minority girls.
