Has been closed down and repossessed. Turned up for a bottomless brunch without being told it was closed.

Miriam was great! Attentive and kept the drinks flowing. Food was also really good. Highly recommend the bottomless brunch here!

Don’t come here. We booked a table for 10 here for my friends birthday they didn’t have a table set up and didn’t have enough seats for us despite us asking, we found some spare chairs ourselves only to have one of the staff literally pull it away from under my friend whilst he was still sitting on the chair because they needed it elsewhere, half the cocktails weren’t available, the food came over an hour late and was so average, the staff were incredibly unattentive and chaotic, and the music is so loud you can barely hold a conversation. I did complain to the manager and we got some money off the bill, but honestly not enough all in all a bad experience. Don’t bother.

Don't go here, the service and management is the worst. I don't even know where to begin. We had a party of 10, there weren't enough seats for us. When we got a seat, a waitress asked for it back and we said we booked for 10, my friend got up for a brief second and the waitress pulled the chair from under him. Pretty much 80% of the cocktails were unavailable and this was 6:30pm on a Saturday. You'd think they would stock up for a busy weekend. Management is horrendous. When the drinks eventually arrived they were watery and a few drinks were missing. Some drinks we waited over an hour for. Not all of our food came at the same time, a couple of us waited an extra half hour for the food to arrive. I paid a deposit for a cocktail sharer and told them 3 times about it. The third time I asked they completely forgot, even though I told them the previous 2 times. While waiting for this sharer cocktail I paid for, one of the waiters said we needed to leave for another reservation, I said I was waiting for my drink I asked for over an hour ago and the service was so slow we would have been done earlier otherwise. This place was so bad, I can't believe their in business in central London. Don't go here, just order takeaway. The only good thing was the food, decor and music. If you want to wait over an hour and have missing items and watery drinks please go right ahead.

This place is let down the most by how insanely loud the music is for a restaurant. Literally night club levels of music on a Thursday night at 6:30pm. Totally ruined any atmosphere. I appreciate music is needed but that loud is just a joke. The food was very good. The service was a bit average. Wouldn’t go back.

Extremely disappointed with the experience start to finish. The service was really poor and slow and the food was awful... Sent back twice and still couldn't eat anything because it was all over microwaved. Half of the drinks were unavailable and the staff didn't even know. Luckily, I went to Rum kitchen Brixton and received a great service. Will not be going back to Soho.

Food was good apart from the rice and peas (crispy, undercooked, no aromatics what so ever). Service was really fast, a little to fast, mains arrived well before the starter.

I went with the happy hour deal and we had a great time. Service was good, the drinks too just maybe a little too sweet but still tasty! Thank you

VISTED ON 27.03.24 AND FROM START TO FINISH THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS JUST ABOUT THE WORST RESTURANT EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD. 1. ONCE SEATED AND LEFT WITH MENUS, THE RETURN OF THE WAITER WAS VERY LONG. 2. TWO CURRY MUTTON/RICE N' PEAS WERE ORDERED, WHICH TOOK ALONG TIME TO ARRIVE. 3. ON ARRIVAL THE FOOD WAS ROOM TEMP. THE CURRY WAS NOT CURRY BUT MORE LIKE A BAJAN HOTPOT IN TASTE. THE RICE WAS NOT COOKED SUFFICIENTLY AND HARD IN GRAIN. THERE WERE NO KIDNEY BEANS, JUST HUSKS OF BEANS. 4. THE RICE WAS LEFT ON BOTH PLATES. THE WAITER WAS MADE AWAY OF THE UNDERCOOKED RICE AND WE WERE INFORMED THAT ONE MEAL WOULD BE DEDUCTED FROM THE FINAL BILL. 5. AFTER THE PLATES WERE CLEARED, A FURTHER ROUND OF COCKTAILS WERE ORDERED, THIS TIME RUDE BOYS. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO CONTAIN TWO TYPES OF RUM, VERY WELL KNOWN TO US IN TASTE AND SENSATION. I AM CONVIENCED THAT THERE WAS NO RUM IN THESE COCKTAILS. THERE WAS NO TASTE OF RUM NOR WAS THERE THE SENSATION OF DRINKING STRONG RUM. 6. ON PRESENTATION OF THE BILL, ONLY £15 WAS DEDUCTED FOR THE FOOD INSTEAD OF £17 AS A GOOD WILL GESTURE. 7. ON LOOKING AT THE BILL, IT SHOWED SERVICE AT £6. THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT THIS WAS DISCRETIONARY (AS IS THE NORM ON BILLS). TO STATE 'SERVICE' INDICATES THAT THIS IS OBLIGATORY. HOWEVER AFTER THE BILL WAS PAID, NOT BY MYSELF BUT MY FRIEND, I NOTICED ON THE MENU IN VERY SMALL WRITING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE, THAT THIS SERVICE IS INFACT DISCRETIONARY. 8.THE TOTAL PAID FOR THIS EXPERIENCE WAS £54. AN EXPERIENCE OF BEING KEPT WAITING FOR A LONG TIME FOR BOTH MEAL AND COCKTAILS, THE MEAL NOT BEING WHAT IT WAS DESCRIBED AS BEING, LUKE WARM, TWO COCKTAILS NOT CONTAINING ANY ALCOHOL AND A DECEPTIVE BILL. I WILL CERTAINLY NOT BE VISITING ANY OF YOUR OUTLETS AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO DO SO.

The dining experience wasn't what I hoped for. The rice and peas I ordered came with no peas at all and when they brought out a new side of rice and peas the peas turned out to be quite hard. this had an affecting the overall enjoyment of my main course. Similarly, the spicy fries lacked any spice and I let them know this they advised that they had ran out of the necessary spices, so they offered regular fries instead without prior notice. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my fries or the main dish. Additionally, several drinks on the menu were unavailable. The service could have been more attentive. It's unlikely I'll dine there again. I hope that this feedback can help with the improvement of the place as it has potential.

Honestly the worst place I’ve ever been to, went for my birthday almost ruined the whole day. Staff were rude and lazy. Our drinks didn’t even arrive so we had to leave. It was absolutely absurd, the staff should really have a think about their attitudes. Glasses were filthy, our table was dirty and not wiped. Never come here.

Food was ok service was terrible we did bottomless drinks which was 3 small drinks once we’d chased them down and continuously asked for another drink The place was empty, there was lots of staff standing around doing nothing but it was impossible to get a drink

Jamal was a superb server. He was very friendly and updated us on the food and drinks and helped us make an informed choice. Unfortunately the rice was undercooked. The Jerk chicken was nice and tender. Cocktails were great! Music was a little Loud!

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. It took a good while to take our order and for our food to come. When it arrived, the order was incorrect with three out of four dishes being the wrong. They were sent back and we had to wait for the correct dishes. When they came back, even though we had all ordered the same, each dish was different so still incorrect, however by this point we were hungry so accepted them. We also had to ask for cutlery numerous times, and it resulted in one of us going to hunt it out ourselves as the food was going cold. The food itself wasn’t good - the rice & pea was hard and half cooked. It was also a very small amount of chicken. The waitress informed us there had been problems in the kitchen that day and that they were questioning whether to open or not, and this really was reflected in our experience. That being said, we felt for the waitress as she was clearly under pressure and was trying to sort things out as best she could. The manager agreed to deduct an amount from the bill, which we appreciated, but I’m not sure we will be going back.

Twasin was spot on, made us feel welcome and relaxed. And delivery of our drinks was spot on

My friends and I went for the bottomless brunch. The food wasn’t the best, I found that the fries lacked crunch and the burger was underwhelming, the whole meal had a school dinners taste and appearance, but nonetheless we had a good time. The drinks were good, service was slow and there was a long wait between drinks but Saad was very understanding and was doing his best to reduce the wait. He was friendly and chatty and gave us girls a good laugh and that’s the reason for 3* to be honest.

Huge disappointment. The website advertises over a hundred types of rum. When we arrived, we were told there was only what was on the shelf. There were maybe 20 if I'm being generous. I came for the rum. Wasn't anything interesting, and not even close to the huge selection of Caribbean rums they advertised...

Got sat down and didn’t get served for 50 minutes… food was nice but portion was tiny and slow service to start but when the clock started for bottomless Twasin was on the ball and gave us great service he’s the only reason I’ll be coming back great guy!

Bit of a shambles really. I ordered a Ray's Rum Punch, only to be told that it was not sold there. Why hand me a drinks menu, with drinks not sold at your establishment? The group I was in were asked if we would like any sauces, to which we replied, ketchup please. Did the ketchup ever arrive? No. After finishing our meal, it then took an age for us to pay for our meals. We were clearly finished - out plates and glasses were empty. Could a member of staff not come over and ask if everything was okay? Fortunately for us, we managed to call someone over in the end (after several failed attempts). To say that I won't be visiting again, would be an understatement.

Not even an exaggeration but probably the best customer service I’ve received in ages, our food and drinks were served with a warming smile by Raiu, will definitely be back!

Food was good - filling and decent value. A little overpriced for what it is — but what do you expect in soho. We had the starter tasting platter - plantains could have been cooked more. I got the jerk bun and my co worker got the peanut chicken. They’re stingy on the sauces but the chicken was very tender. The fries were also really good. Their mojito was strong and they have a mean happy hour - 241 deal.

The service was poor - every single time we had to do anything (order, ask for the bill, ask for more drinks etc…) we had to call a member of staff over. Other than being seated initially, we were not attended to by staff unless we flagged them down. The drinks were lovely but the jerk chicken platter was fairly poor (chicken thigh was quite nice) - the jerk wings just tasted like charred barbecued chicken with not much seasoning or sauce. The fries were nice but the jollof rice was bland and just tasted like packet uncle bens microwave rice. For £44, it wasn’t good value for money at all for the platter.

Staff more interested in talking than serving guests. To round it off, my food was cold and bland, and staff didn’t even want to help when I complained. Awful and won’t be going back.

Raiu served us and he was a gem from beginning to end! He was warm and welcoming, friendly, and very attentive. The rum punch was soooooo delicious!! Food was good, but the portion size was disappointing. Music and service was great, was just a shame that it was so quiet in there so the atmosphere was lacking. Can't fault Raiu at all... he and the rum punch were the highlights :)

Great atmosphere, really good drinks too, especially because they’re running a 2-4-1 on Saturdays. The drinks were quick to arrive to the table, Annelise was super sweet and attentive!

Unreal Carribbean bar. Their cocktails are weapons grade. Highly recommend the Pina Colada.

Don't let the 5 start reviews fool you, I work in hospitality and I know awful service and quality when I see it. I went for my birthday and booked for 6, the service was shocking we wanted 30mins for drinks, the food was the biggest disappointment as a carribean born living in the uk, you have no right to call this "jerk" and the waitress was so unapologetic. Worst experience. You need to train your staff and hier more people.

Visited for the first time with my friend for a bottomless brunch, food was decent but not Caribbean food. My friend and I had the jerk bowl. If I was to visit again I’d try the jerk wrap. Drinks were on point, full of flavour and flowing. Loved the rum punch and the customer service from Raiu was spot on. Raiu was a good host and was attentive to our needs. Drinks and food came out straight away, no waste of time.

Really poor experience at this place. Terrible service waiter that could not memorise and put the order inside digital menu, brought wrong drinks after many reminders. Food was burnt, buns were sooo old, everything burnt deep fried and just poor looking. Only good thing was music. Never will be coming back

Food was terrible, cold and absolutely not carribean. The pictures on the website were completely different as was the menu. Staff were turning customers away and having a party on the hired part of the restaurant. They turned the music so high I couldn’t hear anyone on my table. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone which is a shame because the location and concept is a good idea.

Myself and 4 friends came for the bottomless brunch last week Saturday and it was a horrible experience. - To start off with, they wouldn't allow us to choose different brunch packages, we all had to have the exact same drinks package and food package which means the ladies who don't like cocktails were forced to drink cocktails (there was a prosecco only package available). - The food options didn't make sense, there was no reasoning behind why we could have one jerk bowl and not another of the exact same price. - For the first 3 rounds of drinks we had to hunt down a waitress to take our drinks order, even though the restaurant was empty. And then it took about 20 minutes for drinks to arrive each time. - an older male kitchen staff member walked up and aggressively hugged my friend out of nowhere, which is harassment, and when we told management, we were told they're not sure what to do about this. The male staff member continued to potter about for the next hour we were there. - The food arrived with no utensils, it took another 10 minutes for those to come and was cold by the time we could eat. - We were asked to leave after 90 minutes of arriving, even though it took 20 minutes for us to first be served when getting there. We did manage to let us stay longer and they did eventually comp us a bottle of prosecco for the harassment situation but overall it was still a very stressful bottomless brunch and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Really great food and drink plus such good value for money (as long as you get there for the happy hour cocktails) and we were so much more full than we expected!! Vicente was brilliant and really helpful with our questions and recommendations on dishes. Will definitely be coming back!

It’s such a shame this was one of my favourite places to go but since lockdown the standard has really gone downhill. The waitress was lovely and the staff super friendly but unfortunately the food wasn’t good at all

I’m not sure where the last guy ate but I don’t think it was the Rum Kitchen. I used to come here a lot and never had a bad experience but tonight was absolutely shocking. I should have guessed something was wrong as the place was empty and always used to be full. The rice and peas were made from easy cook rice which was as clearly old and stale as the rice was dry and hard. I sent it back and asked for fries instead. The jerk chicken was completely flavourless. Plantain fritter starter was soaked in oil but at least it tasted good. Chicken wing starter was completely burned into a charcoal crisp and tasted of nothing. Completely lacklustre service, staff couldn’t be bothered to even be there, too busy talking to their large group of mates. Toilets were in a shocking mess, staff clearly uninterested in cleaning them. Absolutely shocking to see a good restaurant fall so low. When they asked why I wanted to take service off the bill I said it’s because this is the worst Caribbean food I’ve ever had in my life. To which they shrugged and walked off. Avoid.

Got the jerk chicken wrap and bottom less drinks. The wrap was terrible didn’t even taste of any flavour at all. And the drinks took so long to come, we always ordered as per the rule when the cup is half full. But the drinks took 20-30 minutes to come. We did offer the waiter a £10 tip and she said don’t worry il get you guys some drinks right now and they never turned up. Furthermore, the service charge doesn’t go to the waiters so make sure you take it off

This place is a vibe.My friend and i had an amazing time.The staff very attentive and friendly,but the bar staff was fantastic and knew how to make the night a lovely experience.Their manner and how they treated us was great,definatly will be coming bak 10 out of 10❤️

Thanks to Twasin, real credit to the company. Friendly, good chat, let us know when happy hour was etc. Bar stuff all seem like they're having a good time too, dancing, singing whilst mixing. Been before, but will always come back again

I recently dined at Rum Kitchen , and my experience was utterly disappointing. Despite waiting a tedious 45 minutes for starters, the food arrived cold, rendering it practically inedible. To add insult to injury, they conveniently "ran out" of sauce, depriving us of the full dining experience. The staff exhibited atrocious manners and were downright rude. Save your money and sanity; avoid this establishment at all costs!
