I've had brunch today with my friends and I was really impressed by the food, service and decor! Everything was delicious, especially the Churrasco quadril steak, and our server Sylwia was lovely and super attentive to all of our needs, she's an absolute star!

Had a reservation for tower bridge they relocated it to bank , we requested a happy birthday and a closed off seat they did not accommodate us we had to ask then twice to move us, the food and steak was cold

Expected much better after visiting other restaurants of this chain, Pros- olives, wine was nice, bread was good, atmosphere was chilled and relaxed, Cons- Steak was not cooked to my request, chips were vile we couldn’t eat them, side dishes small, service slow and inattentive.

Perfect on Tuesday with female service. Jackets taken at reception and placed near the grill. Action-packed and warm. Straws offered. Fish bone plate. Perfect. On Friday male service, no wardrobe, draftiest corner of the restaurant, wrong dish, instead of rib bar gaucho plate, cold too. No special bone plate, straws only upon request.

Our waiter Matej was very attentive and great at setting a friendly atmosphere, food was awesome but the steak could of been a little thicker. Good brunch deal, will be back again.

Gaucho has always been my go to restaurant for steak night. It is consistently good and excellent customer service. The steak is well cooked. There was a little bit of a mishap in my last visit but it was promptly remediated and I was generously compensated which I did not asked for. Nevertheless, the gesture was very much appreciated. Will surely be back again!

Went there for a brunch yesterday - the food was terrible! Steaks were thin and small, the burger was full of grease and the pancake dessert tasted like rubber! Drinks were good and atmosphere was ok, but I wouldn’t pay £80 for it ever again!

Scallops starter was absolutely superb. Vina Patricia wine and Churasco De Chorizo steak was a really good pair which we really enjoyed. I really wanted to thank the hole team for a wonderful experience. Thank you and see you soon Gaucho City!

This is the best steakhouse I visted in my life. I do not work in London anymore but it tickles me to visit the city for a day or two to eat here.

This won't be a cheap evening out in the city, but for those of you who love your steaks, you won't go far wrong than yo book a table at Gaucho City. With an amazing ambience, this is the perfect place to unwind after a hectic day. I was served by the delightful Portuguese Joanna along with a charming lady from the Dominican Republic, whose name I did not catch. The steaks were juicy and both perfectly cooked and presented. The cocktails were delicious and flavoursome. The mark-up on the wine appeared to be relatively high that it did not represent good value for me, but this is somewhat to be expected in the City of London. However, all in all, given the quality of its food and its commitment to sustainability, if you can afford it, then Gaucho City is well worth a visit.

We came to Gaucho City for my birthday lunch today and had such a lovely time. Nacho was very welcoming and showed us to our table. We loved the new decor, such a warm relaxing vibe, the staff were all amazing and the food was incredible! Me and my husband shared a few starters as was so hard to choose, the steak was perfectly cooked and the sides complimented it all nicely. The Truffle Mac n Cheese was my favourite! Can’t wait to come back soon, thank you

Business lunch, excellent service, very good food.

I visited Gauchos in the City as an early birthday celebration and we had a wonderful time! We were the first there, at 1pm on a Saturday and had the venue to ourselves until other people started arriving and took their tables circa an hour later. We didn't mind this as it gave my friend and I time to catch up before it got busier and noisier but if you want more of a party atmosphere, I'd say go a little bit later. The food was wonderful. We were served a selection of hot and cold starters, and we were able to order more of our favourite starters, although I'd urge caution here as they are quite filling! I had the rump steak, and my friend had the sirloin with eggs. Both were excellent, and we liked the sauces that accompanied the steaks. Dessert was a choice of either chocolate brownie (mine arrived with a birthday message and candle) or banana pancake. As expected, the drinks were free-flowing, and unlike some other brunches, there is a good selection of cocktails. The Citrus Negroni was my favourite. You are restricted to a maximum of 8 drinks served one at a time, but we found this was plenty. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a lovely chat with the receptionist on the way out, and we were made to feel very welcome and valued by everyone we met. This brunch is a little pricier than some others in the city, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for, and I recommend it.

Sadly there was no atmosphere as we were the only diners for about an hour which was a bit strange...the cocktail choice has changed since we last came & not for the better....the food however was excellent & could not be faulted...

Ordered the filet medium rare, but it arrived medium. Its Chimichurri used to be spicier (more cilantro and garlic?) in the old days. The bread basket and the desert (a dulce de leche with fleur du sel cheesecake) were fantastic!

The dinner was amazing, was the first time I was able to take my girlfriend to a fancy restaurant, I sadly became very the day before we went so the dinner was quite rushed as I felt sick throughout, but I will definitely be returning once I’ve saved some money to give my girlfriend the full experience.

Wonderful food and service - even on valentines night when extremely busy service was top level. Steak was wonderful and food in general beautiful. Restaurant was incredibly busy and loud but it was a busy night !

We had a wonderful experience from the moment we've opened the door and were greeted by a chearful receptionist. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed Vina Patricia wine.

Really enjoyed the dining experience here with my brother. Andrea’s service was excellent he took really good care of us. A plus is that he was Italian we could speak in Italian.

Staff seems overworked, on the edge, not really a client conducive experience. We were ignored for a large part of the evening.

Steak was good but fries were horrific, not fresh and re-cooked. Also think it should be made cleat that it is in a basement and the aircon was too cold.

Amazing food and great service. The atmosphere was really cozy. The meat and wine were to die for. Recommend the Lomo (fillet) and broccolli. The cabernet franc is the best wine. Recommend the banana pancake for dessert.

Rather disappointing. It took forever to get drinks on the table, but most importantly, the food was dreadful. While our starters were decent, the stake they served was the worst stake I ever had. The cut itself was bad and full of gristle, so I constantly had to pull gristle out of my mouth, which was embarrassing. I ordered it medium, but it was served almost raw and stone-cold. Would not recommend.

Food classy staff polite and friendly no complaints but service was much too slow i am afraid over 1 hour before starter arrived and about 15 minutes just to get first drink .

The steak we chose to have was very fatty,on its own on a plate and a bowl of chips,this meal presented should off been £19.00,over all a complete rip off,definitely won’t be returning.

The steak at Goucho was on point in a great environment with tentative service

I’ve been to gaucho many times, but it was my first time at that location. I loved the food, the table service was great. Although, the door service was quite slow/none, as soon as, I arrived there was nobody at the door, I waited for 10mins and nothing and then I decided to go in and by myself and find my partner seated waiting for me. Also, when we left it was the same thing, I had to get his coat for the cloakroom by myself because nobody was at the door. I understand it’s not busy on weekdays, however, for the price and the standards of Gaucho, I was expecting better. Besides that, everything went smoothly.

My first experience at Gaucho, so can to compare to other branches. Food is average and over priced. You can get the same quality of steak anywhere else for half the price. Frozen soggy broccoli served as tender stem broccoli. Service was ok, however, some staff were rude and dismissive.

They not do Bernaise sauce which I love. Used to avoid this restaurant because they only did Chimichuri but it’s better now.

What wasn't to like? The food was spectacular and great value, from the empanadas, steaks, sides and sauces. Delicious. Further, the wine was nice and the staff were super friendly and helpful with any questions. Would come back.

Great meal, very grateful for the birthday bubbles. Steak good as always, only complaint that the sides remain a little bland compared to other steak house offerings in the City.

Unfortunately we did not have the experience we wished to receive when visiting Gauchos City. Firstly, we were charged for 6 bottles of water that was placed on the table before we even arrived - this was not asked for, 3 bottles were sparking water which no one on the table touched. Secondly, being charged a service charge - this is understandable if we received any sort of service however we were not asked at any point if the food was ok when eating, and not once did anyone come over to ask if we wanted any drinks during the course of eating the meal. Therefore ending in us asking for the service charge being removed for the lack of service. I am always happy to pay service charge but this did not seem fitting at this time. The £180 deposit we were charged prior to the booking had failed to be deducted on the receipt, meaning this had to be refunded. This took a full week to come through which around Christmas is not ideal to be down £180. My partner received a code via email for a free bottle of champagne for his birthday, yet they had put this on the bill £80- hadn’t we had noticed we would have paid for this when it was supposed to be complimentary. Overall the lack of service and organisation was disappointing, and although we have received a 25% discount for our next visit, we would not have planned to return to the restaurant.

Quality meat, quality service, a little bit pricey. No salt and pepper for seasoning, only the sauce on top of the meat. Side of chips and mac and cheese is surprisingly good.

The chritmas set menu was well seasoned. I could not fault anything apart from the steak being too bloody for my liking.

A good place for some Argentine food and a environment for friends gathering

wonderful and welcoming place, you immediately receive a warm and welcoming impact, the chef delighted us with his courses and his magnificent meat, but the pride of the place is definitely the waiter Francesco with whom we had to deal From the first minute he welcomed us and made us feel at ease, he was able to advise us both on the meat and on the choice of wine, truly professional. experience to be redone.

The food and service were great but the restaurant was full of very loud city boys who loved the sound of their own voice. I would visit again but definitely not after work.

Had a booking for two was ignored and waited ages on our order , asked for drinks menu and waited 25 minutes therefor ordered a cola and waited another 20 mins , got the bill 20 minutes after asking and had a discretionary charge of 12.5% which was £16 asked to be removed and had our jackets chucked at us and rudely treated/ignored as we left will not be back

The food and service was great. Just a shame that the time limit on the table was so limited.

VERY tasty steaks, and good service, only thing that let it down was being near the speakers, it was a little difficult to hear the conversation, make sure you are seated in a quieter area.

I chose to meet up for a lunch with a friend for a mutual celebration. We chose a Monday as being close to Christmas we thought it may be very busy and possibly noisy with parties. But we were pleasently surprised to find it was a very civilised ambient atmosphere. With subdued yet unobtrusive background music. The staff were welcoming and attentive. They showcased their available steaks on a tray and explained each cut (Argentinian being slightly different to European). The food was presented at a very high standard. Being a Monday Gaucho also offers a BYO wine deal and you do not pay corkage. An excellent touch. I would suggest that the prices are not to everyones budget but you do get what your willing to pay for. I would definately return.

Ambience was perfect and staff were amazing with their customer service. There was a slight draft where we were sat. Staff were brilliant. They gave us a glass of Prosecco on the house as it was our anniversary dinner. Would recommend.

Unfortunately was quite disappointed with the service, it was extremely slow and had to ask multiple times for a drink. Would not recommend alot of money spent for a very mediocre meal and quite rubbish service. Moreover, we did not even get served the full menu from the brunch despite paying for it.

I hadn’t been to this Gaucho for many years. It has been refurbished but, to be honest, I didn’t think it was particularly better than before. It’s slightly lighter which is good for reviewing the menu (it used to be far too dark). It looks a bit “basic” for a high end, expensive restaurant. But, the food was amazing and the service excellent, which is the main thing.

Wow just wow!!! We ate here for dinner to celebrate my 30th birthday and the meal was outstanding. We all had different types of steaks and numerous sides and everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious!

If you’re in the city and in the mood for good meat this is the place for you.

Since I’m in London I’ve been to many gaucho’s restaurants. This time it’s been one of the most unforgettable experience service wise. We had a nice dinner, but first of all the suggestion on the red wine from our waiter Francesco was perfect ! He definitely got the point with smile and profession of the dinner. Surely we’ll be back, nice cooked meat, check on us if everything good and looking forward to meet again with a great smile.

Top quality steaks & superb service throughout. So many staff members enquired about how much we were enjoying our meals. Our dedicated waitress, Sylwia was absolutely top class; engaging, friendly, well-informed and helpful. She is a great advertisement for the Gaucho brand. My wife had the butterflied marinated fillet steak which was well up to Graucho’s high standards (& I had to help her out with it towards the end!). That I was a little disappointed with the burger I decided to opt for is probably indicative of just how good the steaks are, since I’ve never been been less than highly impressed with a meal at Gaucho.

Just had dinner here, what a meal! We had starters (prawns and proveleta) both delicious and then the rump steak with firecracker chimichurri, so good! We both went for medium rare and was come to perfection, also good non alcoholic wine (a rarity!). Must also mention top service from Andrea, making it a great experience, we'll be back!

We did the brunch - felt extremely rushed the whole way through. It was like a conveyer belt of getting the food out. Food quality was no where near as good as when I have been for dinner. They where very strict on the alcohol, and were extremely slow to bring it over, I would not reccomend this brunch for a ‘boozey brunch’

I went to Gaucho in bank and I must say that the food was delicious. Francesco, our waiter, explained all the different varieties and cuts of meet! He knew everything about the menu and made sure everything was just right. He was so nice and made our dinner really special. I totally recommend it!

I was with my clients having dinner in Gaucho. Steaks and food were amazing! Our server Ruben recommended us a excellent wine. He was very attentive, kind and friendly. Honestly the overall evening was great and Ruben really made us feel welcome!

We ordered the Tira de Ancho, Châteaubriant, and ribeye to share. All of them were flavourful and well cooked. Servers were very professional, a plus to the whole dining experience! The restaurant is also newly refurbished and is really cosy. Perfect for a family dinner or a quiet date.
