The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in East of England

We've been coming to Southwold for 25 years, and each year the town gets busier as more people unlock this gem of a seaside town, so more eateries are needed. Loaded opened in 2024, and we first visited in August 2024. We've just been back for dinner on our 2025 holiday in the town. There's nothing else like Loaded in Southwold. The food is excellent (the smash burger, OMG it's good), and the staff are lovely. There's limited seating, it can get busy so either turn up early or make sure you book in advance. If you're tall (like me), the booths can be a bit small but it doesn't take away from the experience (speaking of which, they do takeaway as well as eat in). We only had mains, and they filled us up - which was a shame, because the apple and cinnamon crumble on the desserts sounded lush. Definitely recommend having a meal here.

This is the 3rd time I've been to nikkis in a month and each time the food has been amazing! She makes homemade west Indian food which sells out so fast. It's a quirky lively little bistro and has a fun atmosphere with both staff and customers. You feel like part of the family when your there I would highly recommend this place

Amazing, just AMAZING Been twice this week bought cupcakes, biscoff cookies, rocky road, and other cakes....all amazing and great value for money. They are huge 5 stars is not enough ❤️

I ordered a takeaway meal from the Vegan Buddha last week and it was absolutely top class! Really affordable, tasty meals with full instructions on how to prepare the dishes. Thank you Quinton, we'll be coming back again soon :)

Nice clean restaurant with a variety of food options. Kid named Alin took my order and was I was very impressed by the quality of the service.

Great service and delicious food - every dish was a knock out and I only wish I lived nearer so that I can sample all of the dishes on the menu!

We didn't eat here, but the most lovely girl opened the seating area for us to sit in while hiding from the rain and eating our bacon rolls. I'll definitely be back for the food soon as it smelt amazing, it was a shame we were in the area a bit to early. Thank you again to that girl. You're an angel

Nuestra hija y yerno llevó a este café vegetariano para el cumpleaños de mi marido. Una vez al mes se anfitrión de una experiencia gastronómica donde el menú es enviado con antelación y contiene gluten/vegetariano/elementos en bruto. Hay una selección limitada, pero la oportunidad para solicitar alternativas si es necesario. Como no vegetarianos, estaba un poco nerviosa en el menú, pero resultó ser una de las mejores comidas que he comido! La presentación era magnífica y los sabores eran impresionantes. Era un lugar muy acogedor e íntimo y excelente relación calidad-precio. El único inconveniente fue tener que salir fuera al patio para acceder al wc. Estamos deseando volver a visitar de nuevo.

Lovely chicken curry with salad. Nice quality ingredients and not too spicy. You added your own hot sauce. Went down really well.

Really friendly staff. We went in having no idea what to get and got talked through the menu and given recommendations. The goat was amazing!

Melissa was amazing, so attentive and the drinks were lovely !! Thank you for being so nice. This is the kind of staff that keeps the place running, thank you for a lovely time. We will defo be coming back.
