Ellese Bakes in Great Yarmouth

Found this cake place whilst on holiday and OMG the cakes are the most beautiful things ever worth every penny. The brownies are very gooey and full of flavour

We can’t thank Ellese enough for our amazing Wedding Cake and personalised biscuit Wedding favours. We had a three tier semi naked cake with gold leaf detailing and a gluten free top layer which you wouldn’t know was gluten free as it tasted so good! All of guests commented on how tasty each layer of our cake was. Ellese took all the stress away from us by going to our venue in the morning to set everything up, which included adding flowers to our cake which our florist (Charlotte Staff) had provided. If your in the Caister On Sea area I would definitely recommend visiting the Ellese Bakes shop during their opening hours, and they have lots of tasty treats and celebration cakes available to order on their website too.

I was very impressed with the cake I ordered for my twin daughters' 40th Birthday. It looked amazing and tasted even better. I would recommend anyone with a specialth or occasion to consider using this bakery.

Had been following avidly on Instagram and was looking forward to ordering. On arrival not a huge choice and was shocked that three items (cookie type concoctions) were just shy of £12. They were stodgy and not overly moist. Unfortunately more style than substance, not worth the price.

Extremely clean and friendly environment. I remember when I very first tried an Ellese bakes rocky road. It was THE BEST thing my mouth has ever tasted. We now come regularly to get a few treats. It’s a bit pricey if youve never tried an Ellese bake BUT I promise it is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY.

These cakes are the best. So so good. I'll definitely be supporting them during lockdown. They just get the right amount of sweetness for me and the sizes are amazing.

I am usually a bit sceptical when buying cakes from someone new but thought I had to try these and they definitely did not disappoint! They have been unreal and the customer service is top class :) the quality of the cupcakes and slices is another level!! I will definitely be ordering more in the future! Great to see a small business doing so well in such hard times! If you haven’t ordered from here, you NEED too!!

I was treated to a box of cupcakes by my family for my birthday (obviously they helped me eat them 😂) Yum yum, they are absolutely gorgeous both in taste and looks! I’m moving close to the bakery soon so will become a regular customer I’m sure! My daughter in law won a competition to win a birthday cake too so we can’t wait to see this as they are brilliant. We have purchased one previously and the work and attention to detail is amazing! Highly recommended

I had some unicorn cupcakes for my daughters birthday last year. Tasted amazing and looked brilliant. Also buy regularly cupcakes and caramel shortbread slices from market gates. 100% recommen to friends and family.
