Really friendly staff. We went in having no idea what to get and got talked through the menu and given recommendations. The goat was amazing!

Went in for lunch after having read the excellent reviews. Service is great but not excellent. Used the facilities whilst I waited for my food, which were very clean and smart. My choice of ox-tail wasn’t available on the menu so had to go for another option. Beef. The other order was rice and fish. Sadly I was disappointed with our meals. Fish wasn’t so bad but was a little on the dry side. The beef was very disappointing pictures attached. No relish or soup with the beef but maybe I’m just picky. Needless to say my experience wasn’t so great.

Our first visit was last night with 5 friends on recommendation. Excellent food and service by friendly staff. Plenty of choice on menu, and a well stocked bar, with music playing in the background, not to noisy compared to some African restaurant we have been.. Very welcoming atmosphere. Will visit again soon.

Dropped into this friendly little place in West Town for lunch, interesting and varied menu of African cuisine; I tried the Jollof Rice with beef and fried plantain, really tasty! If you're after trying something a bit different in Peterborough, this is the place for you. I hope they do well.

If you want to see the biggest smiles in PB, and some of the tastiest unpretentious affordable food, this is THE place. Licenced to serve alcohol too - but the food is incredible. Within 2 seconds of walking in (take care: the door opens outwards! 😁) my whole mood was lifted!

Loved the experience, would surely recommend The staff are so nice and helped us understand the meaning of the dishes i.e Amala. The Asun and meat pie was very delicious. would be visiting again.

This isn’t Nando’s or Turtle Bay, where you have waiters swarming the place ready to take your order the second you walk in. No, this is something special—a family-run gem serving up authentic, traditional food that truly hits the spot. We've had the pleasure of dining in and ordering through their takeaway service multiple times, and while we typically prefer ordering via Just Eat or Deliveroo for convenience, dining in is absolutely worth the visit if you're in the area. Just remember, this is a small family operation, so be patient when you arrive. The staff who serve you are often juggling multiple tasks, but that only adds to the charm. I’ll always recommend supporting places like this over the mainstream chains. It’s one of those spots where the food feels like it’s been made with love, and it shows. It’s definitely on our list of local go-to’s, and I encourage you to add it to yours too.
