We received our delivery tonight and we're totally blown away with what we received ,the onion rings were fresh and home made and same with the chicken coujons ,but as for the cheeseburgers omg they were amazing even my fussy hubby said they were the best ,we highly recommend this wee place .

The food here was really great. Everything coming out of the small kitchen looked amazing, it was quiet, affordable, great service, and a hidden treasure close to the chaotic tourist zone. I feel really lucky to have come across it and went back the next day. Food is fresh light and perfect for a change from heavy pub fare. If you are lucky enough to get a table it's well worth the stop.

The best compote, the broth is also ok. Two cutlets per portion, but EXTREMELY thin, heavily saturated with fat. The worst was ground. I've never had anything worse, hard as... hard to cut with a knife, taste sour. The meat in kartacz is poultry, probably from broth, it's not kartacz anymore. Very nice service.

Great food, great value & unbelievable view of the pitch from the govan stand. I was really shocked about how good an experience this was. The starters & main meals were beautiful. It was a good pint as well. Staff were a credit to the whole experience.

First time visiting and have to say pleasure from start to finish. Service was great, very attentive, friendly and helpful. Food was lovely and refreshingly different and very moreish. Definitely planning a return visit.

What a cute little gem. We went elsewhere first without a booking and was told 60 mins wait. So we saw La Lanterna on Google and we were so glad to have settled for this restaurant. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the monkfish pasta, it was exactly how I imagined. If you like flakey fish, it’s the dish to go for! My partner had risotto, can’t fault it neither. Cute date night spot with lovely comfort food. Generous portions, which we appreciated a lot coming from london…

I sincerely recommend it! I spent a few days with my wife in Glasgow and we ate the most delicious and reasonably priced food here. It's a pity that we came here only on the last day... Tasty, home-made!

We recently celebrated a family members birthday at Eighty Eight and could not be happier. The wine/food knowledge was outstanding and key eye for detail in service, we all loved it. Had phoned in advance to arrange a birthday cake and they were so accomodating. Great experience, will go back in a heart beat.
