The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We were advised that dishes come out whenever they're ready, however the delay between dishes was quite long and we were finishing one plate before the next arrived. It would be nice to have two at the same time so we're not just eating broccoli on its own at the beginning. We got a big pile of potatoes right at the end, which were AMAZING, but it would have been better if we'd been able to enjoy them with the rest of the food and not just on their own. That is my only complaint really! Staff are lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend!

I've eaten here many times over the years and it's always a delight. Delicious food with a refreshing variety of flavours and ingredients. Proper sharing plates, not small plates, especially if you get the fried spuds with garlic aioli! It's extremely good value and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Lovely big space that doesn't feel crowded and a nice sunny outdoor area.

Obsessed with this place since visiting a few years ago, it just never disappoints and is always first on the visit list when in Glasgow. Food was stunning as always, heritage carrots, spuds (famous worldwide I think), hispi cabbage all highlights but all of it was just CHEF'S KISS. Highly recommend the pisco cocktail too, incredibly moreish. Really good for vegans, veggies and carnivores alike, we both found plenty of delicious things to eat. Staff absolutely on point too, knowledgable, friendly, great service. One of the best meals out we've had in years!

Fantastic evening with friends and dogs, delicious food and outstanding service, what more could you ask for? Every dish was delicious, attentive servers who gave us guidance on ordering and drinks, could not have been better. Highlight for us was the attitude to the dogs - some places claim to be dog friendly but don’t do much to make them comfortable. They listened to our request for a table with a bit of space and made them feel welcome, not in the way. Cocktails by request were the icing on the cake!

Amazing restaurant. They charge very reasonable prices for the high quality and large portions served. I loved the mackerel (tonight’s special), the fish curry, and roasted spuds. Other favourites are the hispi cabbage, pork belly, and panisse. So far the best meal I have had in Glasgow. Special shoutout to the waiter for exceptional service. RUN DONT WALK! We came here for dinner last night and had a truly brilliant experience. Not normally one to write reviews, but this place deserves it. We ordered 7 dishes between us, 6 out of the 7 were perfect, we gave some feedback on one of the dishes which we were disappointed in, more because of the contrast of how good the other dishes were and the staff went above and beyond to compensate. Far more than was necessary, they removed the item from the bill and then sent out a few deserts to try, which was such a treat! We wouldn’t usually order desserts but they were divine! 10/10!

One of the best meals I’ve had in recent years. We had five plates all of which were unique and tremendously flavorful. I thought the roast cabbage was particularly good for what it is, cabbage. My only minor gripe is that the dessert options didn’t have the same flair as the main courses but even so, I recommend everyone visiting Glasgow dines at Five March.

Now my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Used to be Stravaigin but their vegan options are lacking and extortionate for what you’re getting whereas Five March are doing great-sized sharing plates, with loads of veggie, vegan or meat/fish options so something for everyone and they’re very reasonably priced. The bar staff are without a doubt an incredible and talented team here. Every single cocktail was delicious, creative and just beautiful to look at. Would happily return just to sit at the bar and go through them all :) Staff were mainly unobtrusive and relaxed. The only issue being the younger woman with the short brown hair and silver earrings(?). It's a new experience to have someone serve me whilst silently hissing at me through the entirety of their face. I've worked within hospitality for 10+ years and found your contempt borderline repellant. When paying the bill we almost tipped twice as I hadn't noticed there was a service charge already on there. No problem with this. Of course the team deserve a fair tip for all the work they've done and the invisible magic that goes on behind the scenes. My issue is that it was clear we didn't know it had already been added (we were a table of 2) and naturally I would expect staff to be transparent about this when it's obvious we haven't looked at the receipt prior to you taking our payment. You certainly made zero attempts at building rapport with us (even remaining begrudgingly sulky and solemn when most people ask how the food was) so a double tip really shouldn't have been expected. Food was fantastic, thoughtful and plentiful. Thanks for what was largely a really delicious experience :)

I'm extremely peaky when it comes about food, especially after I come back from my holidays in Italy, I can easily burst into tears if the food is not at a high standard. What can I say about this restaurant? The food arrived, I tasted it and I couldn't stop smiling. Omg, amazing was reductive to describe the dishes we had. This is officially my favourite restaurant in Glasgow and from now on I will dine here every time I come back from Italy to feel less homesick. Venue is nice and have that cosy feel. Service was good. We are a group of 15 people and they managed to serve every dish right without the need to asked “who ordered x y z”? Christmas menu food was good, enjoyable and tasty. We booked for 17 and 2 can’t come due to sickness. Staff said that will be full charge, but when I asked if those two person’s food will be served for table to share , they said no . I asked if just two desserts can be served , the answer was still negative. I found this unusual . Fair enough if food /ingredients are prepared and they need to charge for no show. But if full charge then what’s wrong with serving the food that got fully paid for? Not to say at £55 per head with service charge it is £60 per person cost ? If they only charge part of the cost for no show then I can understand why not provide food. But full price but you don’t get the food is probably not quite fair. All in all , food is good but just be careful with group booking to avoid no-show cost. Probably better to book conservatively or let people in your team know in advance that they are still expected to pay full if no show .

First of all, I will openly admit our party of 7 were 12 minutes late for our 6.30pm booking. However, that being said I have never, in ANY restaurant, ANYWHERE, experienced a “countdown” when dishes are being served to the table. The dining experience at Five March is contemporary sharing, so dishes come as when ready. (On their timescale, not ours) Nothing new here, granted, but also very enjoyable and sociable in the right environment…..BUT not when the serving staff put down each dish and tell you the time left you have to eat them! The whole sociable, dining, sharing and enjoyment of some exceptional food is very spoiled and is incredibly rushed with staff laying down dishes saying “30mins”, “20 mins”, “15 mins”…..REALLY!?! Many similar style restaurants in Glasgow are elevating the small plate dining experience to a much better level overall. We certainly won’t be returning to Five March which is sad, as the food is sensational but being force fed into an eating time slot is not. (Incase of any doubt. All dishes were ordered in one order. We were not offered any coffee, dessert or after dinner drinks as our time was up. Bill was concluded and we were gone by 8.25pm)

One of the biggest surprises that the city of Glasgow has prepared for us this year. A friend of mine uses the expression "fireworks of taste" for such a menu, which, together with the pleasant service and the correct timing of the appetizers and meals that we shared on the advice of the waiter, brought us a real culinary experience. Definitely a run-up to the Michelin rating, and in a moderate environment and space where it is definitely worth going out for food with the best price/performance/experience ratio.

One of the best yet oddest(interesting) dining experiences I've ever had, but loved the combination of trendy styling and food combo. Then for desert the chocolate moose. It was delicious and we loved the vibe too. Staff were so attentive and super friendly!

The food is amazing, lovely service, place full & a little noisy but that really worth it. They are really concerned about the allergies & doing our possible to give the best service... It's like we never stayed alone because our main waiter always checked on us.amazing experience!

Fantastic food! Honestly delicious, the lamb was tender it melted like butter. Great mix of flavours and our server (a girl from America, sorry I can’t remember her name) was fab and really friendly. I’ve only marked it down slightly as they don’t have wine...

Food and service was great. Had a £100 gift voucher to spend. Being small sharing plates difficult to keep count of spending. When the bill came only to £71 and requesting £9 be taken as a tip, I was horrified to be told that they could neither give me my change of £20 or mark my gift voucher with that amount which I could have had used on a future visit. This was their policy I was told, but no mention of that had been printed on the voucher or mentioned to me when I booked. Resultantly, when showing my displeasure I was offered and accepted a £10 bottle of wine. I will therefore never return to Five March, and I feel that my daughter who very kindly had given me this as a birthday gift has been robbed. So, buyer beware!!!

The food is 5star! We started with the sourdough bread, whipped butter, and sea salt. Which was a perfect way to start. Followed by The Burrata, charred leak, cashew, basil. Smoked haddock croquette, chive, crispy cappers, preserved lemon Duck breast, charred corn, szechuan pepper, confit shallot. The burrata was exceptional, one of the best we have eaten. The smoked haddock was beautifully smoked, and the preserved lemon added a lovely finish to it. The duck breast was cooked to perfection with such a rich taste. To finished we had the chocolate mousse, kalamansi, cacao nib, sorrel Lemon posset, honeycomb, bee pollen Both were fantastic! 2 glasses of red wine and a gin and soda to enjoy with the meal. The chef has created a beautifully crafted menu of taste sensations. I would advise anyone to eat here. You will not be disappointed. And to top it off the staff were as good as the food

Interesting menu, but the obvious animosity between servers and seeming indifference of one of them led to a mediocre dining experience.

You can't talk about Glasgow dining without talking about Five March. Everyone who knows flavour in Glasgow absolutely adores this place. Tess has kept the bar beloved by the entire community. Her and her team continuously produce unbelievably delicious cocktails with comfortable elevated service, and they make it look so easy you'll be tricked into thinking you're talking to a pal rather than the intuitive, talented, experienced hospitality geniuses they are. This review feels superfluous because everyone has already told you to go to Five March so stop reading this and just go have some of the best cocktails, food, and hospitality Glasgow has to offer.

I wish this place could live up to what it used to be- we would come here religiously .. while we understand the price increases, however we cannot help but wonder why the quality and servings have gone low .. best example is the Panisse.. what used to be a beautiful dish, accompanied by horseradish, dill , peanuts, and many other herbs, has turned into a dull, reduced, small snack which doesn’t do its forerunner any justice .. five March , please come back to life 🥺

Arrived on time at 6 pm..first drink 30 minutes. Menu is awful waitress spilled bottle of coke down one guests new outfit. Mussels in a sauce that tasted so weird I thought it was off. Starters out of a comedy book. Highlight was potato and dip. Sour dough bread. Will we be ba k definitely not ..waste of 600 plus quid

Took an hour for the first small plate to arrive. Then ages for additional plates to arrive. Staff we preoccupied with other issues. Food undercooked, unseasoned and over sweet.

Incredible - we went as a table of 13 (sorry for the strain this must have caused), the service was attentive and quick, the menu was varied and every dish was delicious; and the portions were a good size for 2-3 people each to sample. We all had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is cozy and feels high end, yet cost us approx £40 each! Thank you to all the staff.

This was like Christmas presents for food with every present the best you've ever had. We dined on the tasting menu and frankly it was the best meal we have ever had. All the staff were welcoming , knowledgeable and generous. A wee mention to Tracy who personalised our experience. It was for our 25th anniversary and we felt so special. Bravo.

Disappointed with this tbh never even had a full kids menu to offer. Even though theres only 3 things on it. Starters said tomato soup there was none. Mains said kids burger there was none and dessert was supposed to be a trio of didlfferent ice creams and they only had vanilla so very poor for £12:95. Defo not a place I would recommend to take kids despite the good views over the pitch Carvery was also cold and not worth the money. Place has went down hill food wise des pite the makeover can't see us returning anytime soon

An absolute gem of a place! Went with a group of 4 and ordered 8 dishes. Every single one was a hit. There was only one chef and he nailed every dish. All pasta dishes were cooked perfectly. The pork was amazing. Nothing to fault! The service was also outstanding and drinks were divine! We will be back for sure! Amazing cosy atmosphere 10/10 in our opinion
