My wife and I, visiting from South Africa and staying in St Margarets, wanted somewhere close by for a midday snack. We chose the first place just up the road and despite its dingy interior decided to give it a try because we saw it had outside seating at the rear. On our way through, a man thrust a menu at us, and without any form of welcome or greeting, brusquely stated that we needed to order at the counter. We sat in the cramped space outside, chose our fare, and I went to the counter where the same man was having a confrontation with a customer who wanted a half portion for his small child. He was belligerently informing the customer that he doesn’t do half portions. I waited patiently while the customer enquired about other options and the man was adamant that he could only order a full portion. His manner was surprisingly rude and before the customer could respond, the man barked at me … “Yes!” I gave our order and selected two cans of drink from the cooler. When he rang up the total, the one drink was more than that displayed on the cooler. I asked about the difference and received the same curt and dismissive attitude. The baguettes, when they were served by a female assistant, were acceptable. The drinks, like all the drinks in the cooler, were little less than room temperature. During our exit through this remarkably inhospitable establishment, I made eye contact with the man, wondering if he would ask us if we enjoyed our lunch - or even wish us farewell and come again. The glare I received cemented my decision to never return … and to share the experience.

Pequeño lugar estilo cafetería: 100% vegano y parece que se especializan en leche vegana de todo tipo. Ojalá hubiera analizado los ingredientes de mi bizcocho, pero era tan sabroso que simplemente me lo metí en la nuca. El brekky 'fry up' (que se dice en el menú) consistía en varios granos, nueces, semillas, verduras y tenía un tipo sabroso y sabroso. No estoy haciendo justicia aquí, mi descripción es mala pero intente "freír". No está en el menú en línea, pero es realmente un buen combustible sabroso para el día siguiente. This is my 'go-to' cafe when I am in the Piccadilly area. I always enjoy the coffee and banana cake. The cafe itself is very small, but there are tables and chairs outside the cafe in Burlington Arcade.

Stopped by after getting tired walking around the antique market and had a plate of peperoncino. The warm hospitality made it such a satisfying experience.

The staff here are always and helpful. The pistachio éclair is good, obviously accompanied by a tea. A bit expensive, but that is okay.

I cannot begin to say how incredible my experience was today(and yesterday when I called with a last minute change!) The ambiance of the terrace is calming and so beautifully decorated. The service was phenomenal (I wish I had gotten the name of the young woman who served me - her recommendation on my tea selection was wonderful. The finger sandwiches were delicious - my favorite is the grilled cheese, and the dessert tray was filled with wonderful treats! I HIGHLY recommend the Afternoon Tea.

The 3 mosqueteers of the floor need to have more professionalism.

Went to order food for collection. It was quite busy but staff were very kind and friendly. Had to wait to collect our order for 20-30 minutes but they offered Turkish tea on the house - it was lovely! Food was all good too, would recommend.

Went on Saturday and it took a while for the food to get here. Price has increased and also they’ve removed the tea/coffee option for the breakfast. Now okay that’s fine, but once the food did eventually arrive it was pathetic. Sausage wasn’t great. Hashbrown was okay. I paid extra to swap out and get chips and the portion was measly and cold. The entire amount of food was reduced. From 2 toast you now get 1. Beans had reduced too. All in all from somewhere I looked forward to going to I just won’t bother anymore. It’s a shame because it was the no fuss good food place I’d travel to come to. But after Saturday I won’t be.

Fantastic food, delicious. We went on a Thursday when it was half price mixed grill. My partner sure is glad he is a carnivore!
