Moral Cafe in Redbridge

I've been coming here for years, but my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered food when the place wasn't busy, but after a long wait, I noticed that others who ordered after me had already received their meals. When my food arrived, the onion rings and hash browns looked burnt, possibly cooked in old oil, and the beans were cold. I informed the staff, and they kindly took the plate back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, they just warmed everything up in a microwave and returned it, which left the chips and fried items soggy and unappetizing. It was clear that the usual management wasn't on duty. As I was leaving without eating or paying., the waitress apologised and said she would call the manager, but he wasn't available

This is a lovely, clean cafe with plenty of seating. The English breakfast was just okay, and unfortunately, the beans were served cold, I did enjoy the mushrooms. It has a welcoming vibe and feels like a nice, family-run spot.

Probably gone downhill a little from going every day to maybe once a month now. I get the crisis, but portions drop prices rise, not a fan.

It's 7:40am on 5/10/24, and you are closed. I travelled 40mins to eat at your place. 1 star it is.

Had a lunch time treat at this popular local spot. It was busy so had to wait to be seated but the staff were friendly welcoming and polite.

Really good value for money, simple food done as it should be. Huge portions, good service. No rush to leave, left alone to eat and chat in a relaxing environment.

Nice place to visit for a quick meal with children. Nothing particularly exciting on the menu. A little bit overpriced in my opinion. Was clean enough to sit in and spacey enough for a family of 4, but definitely could do with a bit of a refurb. One of the sofa seats near us was damaged.

Very good breakfast spot. The portions were generous and the breakfast overall was very tasty and filling. The waitress who served us was very friendly as well and answered any questions I had. Overall felt very welcome and full by the end. Great spot.

Been coming here for a quite a few years. Great friendly staff, inside is clean, decorated simply. Decent price for the amount you get, compared to other places were you get a smaller portion. Food comes out well presented on the plate, nothing boujee but sometimes you don't need that. Good variety and options of breakfast and brunches. Great for families aswell, service quick, food comes out in good timing. Overall one of the best halal cafes I have had, especially with price and amount of food you get.

I have been at your cafe a lot of times, and it has been my favourite but it seems the service and the quality has gone down. Please remember people come for a nice hot breakfast and not cold. I have had moral booster, I like my food warm and water cold. Just few comments chips, beans were cold, sausage had a smell and the onion type of add on the platter was oily and soggy and with big plate 1 slice of bread won’t do it. And ordered additional piece of bread, pile of butter was just put on and toast was not even warm. Pay attention to details not everyone is the same!

This café looks small from the outside but it's cosy inside and can seat approx. 25ppl. Breakfast was well presented, quality of products was excellent and it's definitely value for money

I love coming to this cafe because the customer service is top-notch as soon as you walk through the door. I usually visit on weekends to indulge in a delicious English or Turkish breakfast. And of course, my go-to drink is a caramel latte!

It was such a simple breakfast for its price.Jam got into the olives.It's sloppy and tastes terrible. Thank you for making me have such a bad experience.

Hands down one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Every single individual item was cooked to perfection. I had the moral mega which consisted of like 8 different types of items and then added nuggets on top - every single item left you wanting more. My wife got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and I tried it - it was damn good! The atmosphere was very nice, they had a high chair for my infant child, servers were all very polite & well mannered and their toilets were also nice & clean. Already looking to go back!

Nice place easy parking at the back. Plenty of seating and friendly professional staff good service. Nice food, decent portions. Went went at lunchtime on a weekday. I'm not from London so unsure about the prices but we paid £30 for an adult and 2 kids. It filled us up.

From the moment we walked through the doors to the moment we left; it was a good experience. We were looked after by Asaad and he was so attentive to our needs. He recommended ‘The Moral Booster’ as it was our first time here- as you came see it did not disappoint! The toilet facilities are clean, spacious and theres also a nappy changing area. This place will definitely be our new breakfast/brunch spot! Keep up the great work guys x

Moral served me the best breakfast I have ever had in my life. Sefa and Mehmet are super chefs. You have to try Ibrahim's coffee. Osman is a great owner. Simply the best!

Osman provided exceptional service during my visit this morning. As someone who has been coming here for years, I've always appreciated the warm welcome and familiarity of the place. His invitation to sit wherever I felt comfortable set the tone for a pleasant experience. I ordered the English breakfast, which was delicious and satisfying. Additionally, when I mentioned my low battery and inability to find a socket, they kindly offered to charge my phone behind the counter. This level of attentiveness truly made my visit memorable. Thank you, Osman, and the team for going above and beyond

Best breakfast food I've had in a while!

First time at this cafe. Can’t wait to go back! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. They also have a kids menu. Great staff polite and very courteous. The best place for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Thank you all so much for a great first time visit.

Been to this café twice now - once with a friend and her very small kids and once with a family member and no kids. On both occasions the service has been fantastic and speedy and the food has been amazing! The place is clean, the staff members are polite and friendly and the food is delicious! This is now my number 1 spot for a Full English Breakfast in East London and I'll be taking my family there next. Can't wait to try all the other items on the menu! The only negative was how loud some of the customers were being on my second visit. This could have been addressed by staff and, if it had been, we'd have been more inclined to stay longer and order more drinks.

Breakfast at Moral today, warm welcome at the reception, order arrived fairly quickly considering really busy time of the day. I tired Moral special break today, position size was ok, food cooked to perfection and really enjoyed it. Good variety of different food in one plate. Chai latte was bit cold but drinkable. Staff and head chef were very polite and professional, head chef in particular made my breakfast as and how I wanted. Well done guys Keep it up.

Best halal breakfast in town . It’s have lots of options ,the best I like was the Turkish platter or the moral mega ( but changed the normal sausage to Turkish sausage) . The beef patty was delicious. I will definitely recommend this cafe to everyone to come and you will get a good experience.

Genuinely one of the most enjoyable and most consistent breakfast spots in East London. Great service, great people and great food. I always order the custom breakfast option and I never regret it. The breakfast sausages are quality.

Moral cafe has been around since I can remember. I haven’t been there for a few years but nothing has changed! They still offer a great service, the staff are friendly and the food is amazing. The portions are big and you get a drink included with your English breakfast, (hot or cold, you can decide) it will definitely fill you up! It is also very reasonably priced. As long as they keep on doing what they’ve been doing, they will be more than fine and will continue to the one of the best halal English breakfast places in the area for sure. Will recommend anyone to pop down and try for yourselves!

My neighbour Dr Qadeer recommended me to come here to taste their breakfast, i am with my wife. Very neat amd clean place, Owner Osman is vrry educated and frindly. Food is very nice, Definitely recommended.

It was absolutely beautiful. I think spending money on breakfast is usually a waste as it’s “only breakfast”, but today my older cousin treated me, technically it was brunch. The food was really good quality and came presented very nice. I passed the kitchen to get to the hand wash area and saw the staff cooking it really carefully and they were really genuine in their work. The place is lovely and clean and staff are super friendly and nice. One of them told us that they got called unprofessional, well that polite casualness with customers brings them back again and again and puts a smile on their face within the hectic daily lives of Londoners. I think places like this thrive for longer because of the people and quality of the food so I would love to come back when I’m in the area inshAllah!

One of the best local cafes that is at the heart of the community. Amazing food, wonderful service and lovely workers!

It's a cafe, but it treats you like you eating at a good restaurant. Food items are all of a high quality, prepared fresh and a full English breakfast is a very affordable and very good value for money. Staff treats with courtesy, and as I and some of my family are regulars there, we have almost a family like rapport. Food is served fresh and warm, and everything is clean and welcoming

Went here for breakfast with a friend, and have to say value for money to start with. Was served with a smile and wasn't to crowded. Nice seating areas too. However, received breakfast before hot drink and had to remind staff of drinks, but was a nice place to eat. Would go again if in the area.

The breakfast is standard that you get in most places, spaghetti bolognaise was decent, though the mince & veg was too fine, maybe was blended?

Halal, Friendly people, family run, nice and cosy cafe with a lovely ambience. The breakfast meal was filling and the hot chocolate was delicious. Around £10 for a breakfast meal and hot drink.

Had number 6 the smoked salmon. Salmon was cold it took too long. Thought that I could have made this at home. Would have been a lot cheaper than £10.90. It's just crazy for cold salmon a bit of scrambled eggs and spinach. You either need to drop the price significantly or increase the portion and have it warm. Prior to that, I had the sucukluk yurmurta, which was quite filling and different. I think the food is more turkish than a breakfast place. My wife had the full English breakfast, which had raw fried eggs and chicken sausages rather than lamb or beef.

Gem of a cafe. Free parking for 2 hours in retail park behind cafe. Comfy warm boothes; good choice of hot breakfasts - very large portions (easy to share with kids). I had the continental cooked breakfast - delicious.

One of the only places that open on time lol we rang around looking for a breakfast place as we could only eat halal. The service and staff were excellent. Very friendly and polite. We travelled far and wanted a decent breakfast. Luckily, this was around the corner from the hotel. Visited for the first time as I had heard a lot about it. Food was great as expected but unfortunately the seats are too tight and have no flexibility for people with limited mobility

Went back to moral after a long time. Went with my 3 year old son and the service was absolutely amazing. Was good before but now even better. Never have been to a restaurant with such friendly staff. Really took care of me and my son. Food was also great 👍 👌

Food was great as always, but the service is just shocking. I ordered an orange juice and coffee with my breakfast which never came. I asked the waitress for it on 4 occasions and one of the waiters too. An hour later I'd finished my breakfast and there was still no sign of either the coffee or juice. Admittedly the place was busy and the staff looked completely disoriented. I then went to pay at the counter and was told the orange juice had been made and I should now take it away. Embarrassing level of service.
