I recently dined at Faroz Restaurant, and as always, it was a delightful experience. We ordered the platter, and it was simply fantastic! The variety of flavours was impressive, and everything was cooked to perfection. Each item on the platter was nice and consistently tasty, showcasing the quality and attention to detail that Faroz is known for. The portion sizes were generous, making it a great option for sharing or enjoying on your own. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. This is my family’s favourite restaurant. The service is so wonderful the waiters really go above and beyond for my family and I when we visit. They’re so accommodating to us when we bring the baby. One of the servers is bilingual (Spanish) and this makes it so easy for my family to understand and communicate. The mixed grill is probably the best thing for a big party. My personal favourites are the avocado Caesar salad, sea bass, and the lamb chops/ribs. They always give us Turkish tea at the end of our meal, very thoughtful.

I really like this restaurant, food is tasty and service is usually good dining in BUT hair found in food and it’s not the first time.

Very rude disrespectful workers we came to eat me and my friends and they didn’t even allow us to sit down to eat

Went back for a small.complaint and was met by the staff .Very good listening gave me time to talk and sorted it in a matter of secs. And guess what I got a free meal. Will definitely come back. Forgot very quiet and calm restaurant.

Went down few days ago, worst experience ever they are over priced with small portions.. rice literally hard, freezing cold food... ordered 2 drinks and told the waiter we only want one so he said he will refund the money but ended up refunding less to keep remaining money as tip. Ridiculous never going there again

FIRE the woman answering the phone she has no manners. Your food is great but service is so poor due to her rudeness. I called the say the sauce had spilt all over as the driver did not hold the bag flat. I wasn't even blaming the restaurant for not closing the lids properly (see picture). The woman went on a tirade & didn't even let me finish my sentence asking me "And? What do you want me to do about it?" She became very patronising asking if I'm expecting them to send me new sauces. No!! All I wanted was for her to listen & advice the drivers on how to hold the bag. It got to the point I had to shout to get a word in - still failed so I just put the phone down. I am so angry & feel so disappointed!

Friendly polite staff, BUT as for food... Poor presentation of the food and portions size was shocking very small. Sorry, I won't be coming back to this restaurant again.

The food is always amazing go here often. Put of recently as I always order tap water for myself and children and apparently they don't do tap,water instead have to pay a bomb of aldis or lidls bottled water.

The food arrived late which meant the chips were soggy and cold. the chicken wings were also wet with condensation and the lamb chunks were dryer than the Sahara. The bread was alright.

Wonderful, friendly service! Was given tea whilst I waited for my food. The food itself was delicious! The lamb chops in particular!

We went there during Ramadan time as it was closer to iftar time. We were served by dates and we were really pleased with such welcoming. There was only one person serving other tables as well,but he was really efficient and fast , friendly . Really great customer service! Food was great considering the price into some other places they charge! We will go there again soon insha'Allah!

Lamb shish were a little tough but could flavour. giant couscous was good. falafel portion was small/over-priced £6 for 4 small falafel. lamb sac tava had leaked everywhere- better packaging/liquid-safe container needed - but good flavour. salad not good.

Delicious! Fresh! Excellent customer service what more do you want. Highly recommend their platters and Baklava is a must at the end with turkish tea. Great place to eat out with group of friends and family. Keep up the great service

Smashing place. Had lunch today which was heavenly. Lovely waiter and very clean premises. Will definitely go again even though I live miles away.

I ordered lahmacun but it was not fresh it was cooked before they just warm it up every turkish person know your salad comes with the lahmacun but there only put lemon next to it and there adana kebab was full of spices they have do better then this otherwise they wont get any turkish customers i wont go there again

So upset! I’ve eaten in at Faroz and portion sizes have always been generous. First time ordering here and I’m shocked! Portion sizes are a JOKE! I feel completely ripped off and WILL NOT be ordering again and encourage anyone else not to either! Spoiled our dinner!

The food is good usually, but unfortunately I gave 1 star because the lamb shish was uncooked within, and the salad was only red cabbage, few pcs of cucumber and sliced onions. In the past the salad was awesome, and meat was cooked not raw. Therefore will not be visiting Faroz again,.

The food was not good and salty and they even charged me on the takeaway box 50p for a box unbelievable

Great food and love the atmosphere of the restaurant. But sadly when we ordered it, Takeaway the kofte was raw in the middle. Second time this has happened and were Going to try a new restaurant for takeaway. sorry guys

Missing chips from the kids menu item. Wouldn't offer to send any out.

The soup was split and due to that the soup also entered into my second order which was packed in same bag. Pack soup in a separate box with a proper lid

Mum’s 75th birthday party here and it was AMAZING! The staff let us put up decorations, chilled our cake in their fridge, the food was fantastic as well. But above all else, the service provided, the attention given, proactive, attentive, was stellar! My new favourite local 🥰

Donor was dry, overcooked and chewy chunks, bread was delicious salad was minimal. Rice and bulgar just ok. Overall ok and needs improvement.

I usually get the chicken doner or the chicken wings with mixed rice and salad it comes with a large portion enough for one person and 2 people can eat it aswell the staff is friendly and amazing I would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant the food is delicious and you wouldn’t be disappointed

Great value for money. Hot Meze was great and Faroz special is top notch. My 7 year old son said it is a romantic place. Definitely recommend!

Appalling behaviour, wouldn't allow me to use the restroom. No humanity. Waitress looked at me like I murdered her kids. I would have gladly paid for a cup of tea to use the restroom. Luckily the Asians restaurants around had no issue.

Quality and quantity not so good Very small portion for 2 people

Food arrived very warm. The lamb Kofte was very salty. Rest of the food was fine, although the rice and couscous could be a little generous.

Best starter bread I have tasted but could of done with more as there was one bowl to share with 6 people. From starter bread to finish, the food was top quality and very tasty.

We had the chicken shish in yoghurt sauce and the grilled sea bream accompanied by bread, rice and salad. The portions were generous, the food was tasty, and neatly packed. Perfect Friday night takeout after a heavy work week. Thanks!

Faroz is my favorite turkish place, delicious food, always hot and good service.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but this restaurant shocked me, I feel extremely unwell after having eaten here. It was very quiet in the shop and me and my friend ordered the chicken wings with rice. The rice was uncooked, it felt like it’s been left to boil for 2 minutes and served to us like that. I could hear the crunch as I bit into the rice and couscous. The chicken wings I had were unseasoned, and simply just plain fried chicken. Not what I expect from a Turkish restaurant. Also very small portion sizes.

Portions are very small, and unlike other Turkish restaurant if you need more bread they charged money instead of complimentary. Water bottle small coated 1.50 which is a bit steep too instead 1. But biggest disappointment was portion size.

Nice restaurant with IMHO great food.

Its nice hospitality. They are so nice and polite. The environment also good. The kebabs are so juicy and soft full of flavours.

Went there before and they were quite good but now they have definitely lost their standards. The was cold and tasted old it was very horrible and I would definitely not recommend 🤢🤮

I av been going there since they are open. 1 of the most underrated restaurants in the Ilford area. Never got disappointed with the food. Spicy nan topnotch as usual... very reasonable price... all the staff are very nice and friendly...

My normal go to go Turkish is sultan round the corner but oh my Faroz blown me away as their meat is so moist and succulent proper tasty. Alhamdulilah

Food was very nice with a reasonable selection. Prices were on par with the local area and well worth a visit if you fancy a 'Turkish'. Staff were helpful, polite and attentive and the food was delivered with speed and accuracy.

Enjoyed my drill fish and chips with a touch of salad. The orange and carrot mixed juice was so delicious. Definitely will dine-in again at Faroz Restaurant in the heart of ilford.

I ordered the chicken soup for £5. It was delicious and came with some extreme tasty Turkish bread. All worthy of 5 stars. I was pleased to find somewhere satisfying to have my lunch. However the next time the soup was different and they didn't fill the bowl. I felt a bit cheated. To Faroz I would say this. Be consistent. And fill the bowl!!!!

Very good service and very good location

Food is consistently good, however food was delivered messy last 2 times, i. e. sauce leaking etc. this is delivery related not the restaurants fault

Big portions, the couscous was delicious. However the chicken wings had a weird smell/taste. No stomach pain so I guess there was nothing wrong with their freshness. I will order again but not chicken as the rest of my order was very good and tasty!
