Unlike the experience we had at the Covent Garden location, the staff were rude. We tried to explain to her we are ordering to sit outside, yet she comes later and tell us the table we sat on was for service only not take out and if other customers come she would have to ask us to leave. There were other empty tables as well. The variety is limited and the seating is cramped in an alley. I don’t recommend this location at all. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the macarons like any other location taste great.

£6 for a cup of tea in a paper cup is not acceptable

Beautiful place, excellent macarons😘

The macarons are delicious but the blonde girl who served me had a bad face, there was another brunette classmate who, the poor thing, already looked at me with a face that said she was sorry, the girl who served me had a bad face and when I went to ask her and she said something to her, I asked if I could speak more slowly because I wasn't understanding anything she was telling me and she decided not to waste any more time with me, she gave me the sweets that I asked for in a bad way and she directly invited me to go pay. I think it wasn't the manners and I really wanted to enjoy the experience in this house since I love these sweets and I was excited to try these in particular and because of the way they treated me it has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

The inside of the store is small, but I mostly only use it for takeout so it didn't matter! I think this spot is the prettiest hehe.

Very nice atmosphere. Although it is very small, it looks quite big from the inside. Employees were very nice. Lots of choice in the evening. All the macarons tasted really good. Prices were around €3 per piece.

Very cute terrace which is only on till the 24th September! Go for the really tasty soft serve as the ice cream pots are pre made. Also there was not enough flavour from the lemon and chocolate toppings.

The worst ladore you can visit, bad service, bad coffee

The service provided was very poor, so we tried refusing to pay the optional service charge. But the staff forced us to pay the service charge stating that we sat at the table despite it being optional as per UK law. Update: I am not too bothered about the service. Its normal that waiters might be busy or new. What bothered me more was the fact that I was forced to pay the service charge. It was a male staff member who forced me, (maybe the manager, I don’t know) despite it being optional in London. What that person told me is that if I sit at a table that I have to pay it - which is not the case! I found that male staff member/manager very rude and not customer-friendly.

The staff here are always professional, helpful and kind. A pleasure to be served by. The location itself is absolutely stunning. The preserves are top end and the dairy free options delicious too.

Il marchio Ladurée è sempre una garanzia, ci piace questo punto vendita in quanto la Burlington Arcade è uno dei luoghi che non manchiamo mai di attraversare nei nostri passaggi a Londra, così ricca di storia ed eleganza. In questa vacanza siamo stati qui due volte, per i macaron la prima e una monoporzione la seconda, ovviamente accompagnati da un buon tea. Sempre consigliato.

Myself and my 6 year old macaroon mad daughter came in yesterday. We waited patiently and we’re finally the only ones left in the shop to serve. The man ignored us, and then served a couple straight away that came through the door. I assume due to them looking like they could afford more macaroons than us 😂 My daughter loved the macaroons, but the service was terrible.

Good quality Macaroons, was quite small in the shop not much movement, however, the quality of the product is a good as the one we had visited in Paris, it’s a good treat, there are also a few chairs and tables out the front to sit down and take the weight off your feet.

A very weird decor which looks like they found a disused 1980s film set in a skip and tried (unsuccessfully) to fashion it out into a cool looking macaron stall. Really unengaging and not at all welcoming. You can barely see the goods for sale as you’re visually overwhelmed with everything covered in gold coloured scrunchy foil from floor to ceiling in a corridor leading to nowhere. No indoor seating and staff who didn’t really seem very motivated left us with no option but to move on and find somewhere we could sit inside for a cup of tea as it was too cold to sit in the Arcade.

Really this should be not access to this sink mentioned below at many reviews as well. Customers are really confused. It's not possibility to wash hands for customers, no other service despite of the fact that customers are charged for service. Coffee is just unpalatable coffee; nothing special for the money charged plus extra service charge. Professional baristas should make coffee there. Small cups of unpalatable coffee at all. I really want to be sure that these cups are washed properly according to all hygiene standards requirements.

Way too overpriced for the quality you get. We tried a Mille Feuille and a Flan. The flan was ok, a bit too sweet for my taste but it was alright . The Mille Feuille on the other hand was the worst I ever had. The cream was beaten so much that it had the texture of hard cheese, and the pastry was hard as if it either stayed in the fridge for hours or it wasn’t fresh. I couldn’t cut it with the spoon so we had to bite it directly. And what do you know, nothing was crumbling down, not the pastry and certainly no cream. Will not waste my money there again.

Had a bad experience with the Vanilla Millefeuille - Has nothing to do with what a Millefeuille is. The choux pastry was hard and chewy with no crumble, like something you would leave for 3 days in the fridge. But the worst was the "cream", which was like tasteless cold butter, instead of the crème pâtissière, you would expect (in fact it's not at all crème pâtissière, it's something whipped to the point where it becomes butter, maybe they decided the cost is too high to do something traditional). So remember, nothing to do with a Millefeuille, buy from anywhere else, it will be better. Yes, it's that bad.

Je ne conseil pas la bûche de Noël de Ladurée Londres. La bûche était une affaire de production en masse, remplie de crème et sucre. C´était indigeste, totalement manquant le savoir faire d´un produit soi-disant artisanale français. Vous pouvez trouvez des meilleures créations en France chez Picard!

During a visit earlier this week, I was served by a rude memebr of staff named Francisco (pictured) After purchasing from the shop, I found a sink within the store to clean my hands. This memebr of staff walked in and shouted at me quoted: “you can not do that！that’s not for you!” without adressing me as well as the issues at all, so i was confused who she was talking to. I turned myself around and looked at her and said:” I am really sorry I did not aware that the sink cannot be used by customers as there is no sign saying that.” Because thought I incorrectly assumed in a coffee shop, there must be a sink for customers to clean their hands. Then she replied me and shouted me again quoted: “Maybe next time you should ask first??” I was really confused and very unpleasant about the way she expressed herself without adressing me and was extremely rude to me to embarrass me in front of other customers. This is definitely not the level of service I was expecting from the store, especially the one located in Burlington Arcade.

Honestly the worst experience ever. I went in the other day and the customer service level was lower than I thought. My friend used to work here and I never thought what she said about the management and staff here were true but it was! Gosia needs to step up and take control. Racism in 2022 unbelievable.

This is the first time I’ve had Ladurée macarons and I understand why they are so delicious and popular! The shop is very posh with gold leaf everywhere and the lady was very helpful and packaged them up well to fly with them. Overall a really great experience but one thing is that you pay for it. A box of 18 macarons came to £41, definitely a treat if you feel like it!

Paid a 6 box macarons today to only discover later there are only 5 in my £17 6 macarons box. What a joke. The lady didn't let me know I could get one more, that I only had five in or checked with me if I needed anything else. She sent me to the till with the box closed. Didn't mind to check as she supposed to know how to do her job.

The best macaroons on the planet. That said, the Manager in the Burlington Arcade shop is extremely rude. Having worked in luxury goods, I was quite shocked that she refused to give me a bit of extra ribbon I could use for a separate Ladurée purchase I made, which I was going to include as a gift for a friend. Not the customer service I would expect from Ladurée. She made me feel terrible about it. It really put me off buying from them in future.

THE best macarons money can buy! I've tried many different places for macarons but always come back to La Duree - they are heavenly delicious. This particular shop is especially nice with its golden decoration.

Overcharged £16 for an empty box!

A great selection of macarons at the top-end of the price range. They are undoubtedly expensive, but I believe they are worth spending on and having an experience with. There is a great range of flavours and I would recommend trying something which you wouldn't normally. The chocolate dipped ones are slightly different from macarons and are more biscuity but are wonderfully delicious and some of the best things they sell. The vanilla (a flavour I think is the benchmark to do well) is a little bit underwhelming but there is a lot to try here. They are very rich and sweet so don't expect to eat more than a few in one sitting. The boxing is very nice and it is overpriced but it is an experience and a nice treat or gift. Don't neglect their other cakes and pastries, especially the tarts, which are wonderful.

I paid £5.50 for a tiny Ice cream that was too frozen that I had to wait an hour to eat it. Horrible !! not worth the money!!

One of the best macaroons in London, expensive but very delicious worth to try. They have lots of flavours more and than other places sales macaroons. The chocolates dipping one is so good and must to try for chocolate lovers. The place itself is very nice and staff are nice and friendly.

Best Macaroons you can buy. Yes they are expensive but you get what you pay for. Usually pick then from the Cornhill shop but got them delivered as we are in covid. Postage a little steep but just had to have them. There is cheaper but for me these are the best!

Ordered a galette des rois which came very fast via deliveroo. Very pretty crown but the galette was definitely not as expected, cf picture... all 4 slices like this! It tasted ok though.

Tea and light snacks. Its at the Piccadilly enterance to Burlington Arcade. Perfect to have a rest and watch the world go by.

This is a very small shop in Burlington arcade, London. The shop decor is bright gold and a bit overwhelming. The staff are polite and helpful. The a macaroons they sell are the best in the world. They are SO tasty. Pricey at £2 each but well worth it.

This was the first time I tried macarons at Ladurée! They are a treasure to be enjoyed...it is like buying a jewelry box ... jewelry you can eat. Each of my favorite flavors of macaroons are here. I am particularly fond of mint. They are delicate and delicious. The service is prompt and courteous. The cafe is very small, the tables are outside the cafe located in the gallery. You can enjoy your macaroons accompanied by a coffee.

I wish I could have the vanilla macaroons every single day for a life time! Delicious!

The macaroons are outstanding. However the service is appalling. Today I waited, whilst no fewer than three groups of people who arrived after me were served - on this occasion I left. The store is miniscule and chaotic.

Emailed the management with my complaint (earlier review about them charging me for the milk for my tea) and no reply as yet -that was 2 months ago. I’ve resent the email so we wait and see. Don’t go. Terrible customer service.

While visiting London the summer of 2018, we fell in love with this little gem. Favorites were lavender and chocolate!

I bought 3 macarons and i had 5,97 £ instead of 6 £. The seller girl didn't accepted, imagine what a poor image left me on this occasion. Laduree, are u aware that she compromise your image ?

Normalmente compro macarons en Laduree en Cannes, vi en Londres Laduree y compre varios macarons pero fue decepcionante. Estaban duros y secos y al día siguiente de comprarlos tuve que tirarlos. Esta marca no debería permitirlo, sus productos deberían ser siempre frescos ya que su precio es bastante alto.

This shop makes us feel ill everytime we pass it! It is over the top in its look and in its price of its items for sale. The gold is so outdated and now there are old macaroons etc. That have fallen down in the window and no one has bothered to clear them up. To be avoided and then they might get the message to clean up and modernise in a funky way.

Macarons are delicious. Pastry a bit less. Few of them were stale.
